The Decemvirate sends members of the Pathfinder Society to the former crown jewel of Ustalav's royal courts, the decaying city of Ardis. Tasked by the Society to look into the fate of Absalom's former Master of Blades, Vonran Vilk, what they find will lead to exploration, diplomacy, murder, haunted pasts, and tragic love.

It's not a rage power, or a speed boost, it is a revelation that grants an additional move as an immediate action.
Chase scenes tend to break whenever a character with non-standard movement shows up.
It grants extra movement, but it doesn't give an extra Move Action. Chase rules are outlined in the terms Standard Actions, Move Actions or Full-Round Actions. Bonuses to said actions can be given by one's base speed at the time of the check.
An example is that if you have a movement of 100 feet, it still takes a Move Action to stand up from prone.

But it does not matter: I made the mistake of waiting for the first obstacle to be resolved before rolling the second. The person who simply rolled both caught him. I will arrive when I arrive and the scenario can move on.

It's an interesting abstraction, I dig it. A mini game of sorts. Our enhanced speed for those who move over 30 give us bonus' to some of the checks. Weird but neat. I do feel what you're saying though it's a super strange interaction with the move power.

I was worried about the story not being as theatrical with the removal of all the faction missions (which slipped my mind when I chose this game). But it looks like it was for the best so that you could use these characters in the Gameday if you should desire.

I don't know total gold off the top of my head, but everybody got 1 XP and 2PP if you need to level up or use PP for an upcoming game.

I apologize for getting cranky over the chase rules. I've never enjoyed how they are implemented.

No worries Ulflafa. At least you guys got him with in the first round of the Chase. Easy the pain for everybody. =v)
When I played this, I was a paladin and it was my first time with the Chase rules. I was clueless as to how everything worked and I know I couldn't complete 1/2 of the DCs as is. So I whipped out my potion of Fly thinking I could overcome a majority of the obstacles.
Nope, it just gave me a +4 to my checks because of speed increase. 750 gp down the drain.
I'm going to leave this open for another 24 hours or so for Lacaw to check in, then I'll make in inactive.
If anybody is in any other games with Lacaw (Ser Grey) can you have him PM me. I've already PM'ed him but no response as of yet.
