You know, Skilgannon, I had never thought of Uncanny Dodge re. AoOs in Surprise round or 1st round of combat! (I do not play barb's really, either, only just started my 1st one).
I use Combat Reflexes a lot... never thought (nor saw people using) Uncanny Dodge for that purpose.
Thanks for enlightening me. I was thinking of an Unchained Rogue with the Elven Branched Spear and so the Uncanny Dodge would be a nice perk in that case.

Combat Reflexes also already allows you to make AoO's before you've acted:

I think he is trying to use the "Masterwork Tool" trick here.

Which is core but also an EXPECT TABLE VARIATION tactic.

The book is indeed a masterwork tool. Khellek has been slowly acquiring a library of them (and is the reason he puchased a haversack, so he really can carry around a library!).

I forgot to mention that Khellek is using slow advancement, any chance I could get you to change it?

(if you have not had slow characters before, it just halves the gp and PP awarded by the scenario and reduces xp to 1/2.) So for Khellek that would be
1/2 xp
1 Prestige gained and
253 gp gained.
