Shameless advertising! Just to let people know, I'm starting a Shattered Star campaign on these boards, so if you're interested in applying, please head over here.

Ah, so it seems that running in campaign mode means that the character doesn't need to be PFS legal (and, in fact, shouldn't be a registered PFS character), but you can apply credit to a PFS character. That's not a bad deal.
I'm currently thinking of a divine caster (because there seems to be a shortage of them thus far). Perhaps:
- a Samsaran Oracle (Reincarnated Oracle Archetype, Time (or Ancestor) Mystery). Good RP possibilities, seems like it would fit in the campaign pretty well, but it's not a core race, and might not be terribly powerful.
- a Dwarven Warpriest (probably of Torag). Again, not bad as far as RP, more of a martial character.
- a Lame Half-Orc Oracle (Metal Mystery), eventually moving into Rage Prophet. Again, not bad as far as RP goes, also a martial character.
Any insider information on which of those might have a better chance of getting in? All of them are interesting to me, so I'm having trouble deciding.

Yes, you got it right. Campaign mode assumes you're playing all six parts of the AP with the whole story (not just the dungeon designed to be "module-equivalent" for each part). This also means you can play according to your rules (homerules, character creation rules, etc.)
A divine caster would definitely be welcome! Especially if they don't multiclass out of their roles, in fact. I have a level 6 time oracle in PFS, and it's a blast to play, I can tell you.

Might I suggest an archaeologist bard? Bard spells, rogue talents, bonuses to perception and disable device, and a swift-action self-buff ability.
I've pretty much decided that I like the flavor of an Elf Oracle (Ancient Lorekeeper) of Time. With wizard bonus spells and some nifty revelations, it seems like fun, and a good fit for the AP.

Adding to the fact that Archeologist bard would be very flavorful in this campaign!

Funnily enough, this is exactly what my main character in PFS is! Time is very fun but if I were to rebuild him, I'd use the Lore mystery instead.

Yeah, definately a good idea. I was thinking tiefling perhaps too. I'll get something put together.

I wouldn't mind joining but seeing as I am still on holiday for the next 4 weeks it might be better if someone else joined :)

As you may well guess, the scenario is almost at an end. I'll ask everyone to post the following information here:
Real Name
PC Name
PFS Number
PC #
Faction
Email address (for the organizers to send you a boon should you win one)
Everyone can also roll their Day job first, then roll a simple d20 to see if you win a boon. If you have no day job you simply roll a d20 for the boon.
Finally, I'm going to GM another scenario for the PbP Gameday, and everyone from this group who wishes to join is welcome. That scenario will be #3-05 Tide of Twilight, probably played at low tier. Please let me know in your post if you're interested.
Boon for the GM? 1d20 ⇒ 20

So does that mean no exploring the rest of the cave?
Name: Emily Fujimoto
Character: Cha-Ka Ra
PFS#: 129459
PC#: 1
Faction: Osirion
Email: emily.fujimoto@gmail.com
Day Job: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (10) + 6 = 16
Boon: 1d20 ⇒ 14
And I would be interested in the other scenario.

Real Name: Tom Mannering
PC Name: Ardisen Greymore
PFS Number: 129255
PC Number: 2
Faction: Cheliax
Email Address: stemboy_95th@yahoo.com
No Day Job check for Ardisen
Ditto, assuming we survive I'd love to play Ardisen with this group again. It's been great having a confident Cheliaxian socialite have to hide behind two halflings. Hopefully it'll be a scenario where Ardisens social graces and enchantment magic come in slightly more useful.

Real Name: Edwin wessels
PC Name: Tenaka Khan
PFS Number: 71768
PC #: 4
Faction: Silver Crusade
Email address: edwin.wessels@gmail.com
no dayjob just a roll for boon
boon: 1d20 ⇒ 20
No problems for me to do another story, as it will be the one pushing this char to lvl 3 then :)

Real Name: Mark Garringer
PC Name: Cutter Wolfrider
PFS Number: 9783
PC #: 7

someone kill the friggin minotaur before it goes on a rampage!

![]() |

Haha, if you were rolling as well as I am it wouldn't matter.
GM Lithrac, I had a look over the Shattered Star recruitment and I'm probably not going to apply as you've already plenty of applicants to choose from and I've played a good chuck of the path before IRL. Thanks for the chance mind. However, I'd be happy to join in Tides of Twilight.

![]() |

I don't think we're gonna be in any state to explore the rest of the cave. We're already a halfling down and that thing's still rampaging.

![]() |

I'll be adding my We Be Goblins chronicle to Ardisen after this adventure too, so you next game should get me to Level 2 if all goes well.

![]() |

I'm against exploring further, as much as I want to see what the rest of the cave holds. But I'll go if the rest of the party want to.
What format should our report notes take? Will it be a verbal report, or does it need to be written?

![]() |

Sorry for a bit of a late warning. Just hit a snag irl and I just managed to grab hold of wifi and post this. Will post late this night!

![]() |

Just wanted to say a massive thankyou to Lithrac and all the players for a great game. I look forward to gaming alongside some of you again.

![]() |

Thanks GM Lithrac it certainly was a fun game! It was very challenging for a group our size even before the minotaur encounter.
A sad loss of Garret, but hopefully some small comfort to know that this game will shape all of our future sessions with these characters. Your sacrifice will not be forgotten!
