No, you can't do that. Sheating is a move action no matter the conditions. Dropping an item is a free action, if you prefer that possibility.

Grand Lodge

Shameless advertising! Just to let people know, I'm starting a Shattered Star campaign on these boards, so if you're interested in applying, please head over here.

Scarab Sages

Male Tengu Slayer 2 (HP:20/20 | AC 17 T 12 FF 15 | F 4 R 5 W 1 | Percep 9 | Init 2)

Oh well, I'll just have him drop something on his next turn based on what happens between now and my next turn.

Sovereign Court

Male Human (Taldan) Wizard (Enchantment Manipulator) 16 HP: 130/130 | AC: 12 | T: 12 | FF: 10 | CMD: 20 | Fort: +14 | Ref: +13 | Will: +18| Init: +2 | Perception: +7 | Sense Motive: +8

Is it PFS credit you'd be doing it for Lithrac or just for fun? I could definately go in for that.

Grand Lodge

As the thread indicates, I'll be running it in campaign mode (with a slightly different set of rules than PFS) for credit.

Sovereign Court

Male Human (Taldan) Wizard (Enchantment Manipulator) 16 HP: 130/130 | AC: 12 | T: 12 | FF: 10 | CMD: 20 | Fort: +14 | Ref: +13 | Will: +18| Init: +2 | Perception: +7 | Sense Motive: +8

Sounds good. I'll give it a look in

Silver Crusade

Forgive my ignorance, but what's the difference between campaign mode and module mode? I'm definitely interested, and should be able to create a character in time, but I'm just not sure what all that entails. Also, I'm assuming you want fresh level 1 characters?

Silver Crusade

DECEASED

Ah, so it seems that running in campaign mode means that the character doesn't need to be PFS legal (and, in fact, shouldn't be a registered PFS character), but you can apply credit to a PFS character. That's not a bad deal.

I'm currently thinking of a divine caster (because there seems to be a shortage of them thus far). Perhaps:

- a Samsaran Oracle (Reincarnated Oracle Archetype, Time (or Ancestor) Mystery). Good RP possibilities, seems like it would fit in the campaign pretty well, but it's not a core race, and might not be terribly powerful.

- a Dwarven Warpriest (probably of Torag). Again, not bad as far as RP, more of a martial character.

- a Lame Half-Orc Oracle (Metal Mystery), eventually moving into Rage Prophet. Again, not bad as far as RP goes, also a martial character.

Any insider information on which of those might have a better chance of getting in? All of them are interesting to me, so I'm having trouble deciding.

Grand Lodge

Yes, you got it right. Campaign mode assumes you're playing all six parts of the AP with the whole story (not just the dungeon designed to be "module-equivalent" for each part). This also means you can play according to your rules (homerules, character creation rules, etc.)

A divine caster would definitely be welcome! Especially if they don't multiclass out of their roles, in fact. I have a level 6 time oracle in PFS, and it's a blast to play, I can tell you.

Sovereign Court

Male Human (Taldan) Wizard (Enchantment Manipulator) 16 HP: 130/130 | AC: 12 | T: 12 | FF: 10 | CMD: 20 | Fort: +14 | Ref: +13 | Will: +18| Init: +2 | Perception: +7 | Sense Motive: +8

I'm actually thinking some sort of rogue dungeoneering trapsmith.

Silver Crusade

DECEASED

Might I suggest an archaeologist bard? Bard spells, rogue talents, bonuses to perception and disable device, and a swift-action self-buff ability.

I've pretty much decided that I like the flavor of an Elf Oracle (Ancient Lorekeeper) of Time. With wizard bonus spells and some nifty revelations, it seems like fun, and a good fit for the AP.

Grand Lodge

Adding to the fact that Archeologist bard would be very flavorful in this campaign!

Funnily enough, this is exactly what my main character in PFS is! Time is very fun but if I were to rebuild him, I'd use the Lore mystery instead.

Yeah, definately a good idea. I was thinking tiefling perhaps too. I'll get something put together.

Silver Crusade

Male Half Elf Hunter 3 | HP 27/27 | AC 17 | Touch 13 | FF 14 | Fort +5 | Ref +6 | Will +2 | CMD +4 | Init +5 | Perc +12 | Sense Motive +1
Waylander:
Tiger hp 16/16 | AC 14 | touch 14 | FF 13 | Fort +4 | Ref +7 | Will +3 | Stealth +8 | Perc. +7

I wouldn't mind joining but seeing as I am still on holiday for the next 4 weeks it might be better if someone else joined :)

Scarab Sages

Male Tengu Slayer 2 (HP:20/20 | AC 17 T 12 FF 15 | F 4 R 5 W 1 | Percep 9 | Init 2)

I am already playing through Shattered Star in one of my IRL games, so I think I'll pass. I like the AP so far though, so I hope you all have fun. :-)

Grand Lodge

As you may well guess, the scenario is almost at an end. I'll ask everyone to post the following information here:

Real Name
PC Name
PFS Number
PC #
Faction
Email address (for the organizers to send you a boon should you win one)

Everyone can also roll their Day job first, then roll a simple d20 to see if you win a boon. If you have no day job you simply roll a d20 for the boon.

Finally, I'm going to GM another scenario for the PbP Gameday, and everyone from this group who wishes to join is welcome. That scenario will be #3-05 Tide of Twilight, probably played at low tier. Please let me know in your post if you're interested.

Boon for the GM? 1d20 ⇒ 20

Scarab Sages

Male Tengu Slayer 2 (HP:20/20 | AC 17 T 12 FF 15 | F 4 R 5 W 1 | Percep 9 | Init 2)

So does that mean no exploring the rest of the cave?

PFS Stuff:

Name: Emily Fujimoto
Character: Cha-Ka Ra
PFS#: 129459
PC#: 1
Faction: Osirion
Email: emily.fujimoto@gmail.com

Day Job: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (10) + 6 = 16
Boon: 1d20 ⇒ 14

And I would be interested in the other scenario.

Grand Lodge

You can explore the remaining cave(s) if you wish, of course!

...and, assuming he lives through this, Garret would definitely be interested in doing another scenario with this group.

No Day Job check for Ardisen

Ditto, assuming we survive I'd love to play Ardisen with this group again. It's been great having a confident Cheliaxian socialite have to hide behind two halflings. Hopefully it'll be a scenario where Ardisens social graces and enchantment magic come in slightly more useful.

no dayjob just a roll for boon

boon: 1d20 ⇒ 20

No problems for me to do another story, as it will be the one pushing this char to lvl 3 then :)

Yeah, I have no idea what that is. But boons are generally good things, so I assume I want one.

I would be interested in another game with Cutter!

You're rolling for a Game Day Boon...1 is a random boon, 20 is pick-your-own, from what I understand. Grats, Tenaka!

Grand Lodge

Yes, congratulations Tenaka! Ardisen, you can just roll a d20 to check if you've won a boon. It's a non-scenario Chronicle Sheet that gives you a small benefit of some kind, linked to the season's theme.

Also, I'm dreadfully sorry Garret...

I'm beginning to think I should have just used my sling on it from safely on the other side of the river. :/ It's a wimpy amount of damage, but at least I would have been doing ~something~.

Haha, if you were rolling as well as I am it wouldn't matter.

GM Lithrac, I had a look over the Shattered Star recruitment and I'm probably not going to apply as you've already plenty of applicants to choose from and I've played a good chuck of the path before IRL. Thanks for the chance mind. However, I'd be happy to join in Tides of Twilight.

I don't think we're gonna be in any state to explore the rest of the cave. We're already a halfling down and that thing's still rampaging.

No apology required. I knew Garret was taking a chance, and honestly, it's the way he would have wanted to go, defending his comrades-in-arms. Thanks for yet another great game, GM. :-)

Cleric 5 | AC 18 T 11 FF 17 | HP 21/21 | F +4 R +2 W +7 | Init +1, Perc +10 |

If you were not so far, may be Ganju could be able to save you from death... I'm sorry he could not save you.

Grand Lodge

To summarize who is up for another scenario:

Cha-Ka
Ardisen
Tenaka
Cutter

Garret, would you like to join with another character?

I've also got two people who are new to PFS coming. That would make 7 (with Garret), so still doable with everyone aboard. :)

Silver Crusade

I'm still working on creating my Oracle, so while I'm interested, I'm not sure that I'll be able to get one ready in time (assuming you'll be starting immediately after this scenario is done).

Grand Lodge

We're going to finish this one first, there's still one major step to do to follow the Pathfinders' tenets: report! It may give you enough time to finish creating your oracle so that you may join us. We can also wait until your character's ready of course.

Sovereign Court

Male Human (Taldan) Wizard (Enchantment Manipulator) 16 HP: 130/130 | AC: 12 | T: 12 | FF: 10 | CMD: 20 | Fort: +14 | Ref: +13 | Will: +18| Init: +2 | Perception: +7 | Sense Motive: +8

I'll be adding my We Be Goblins chronicle to Ardisen after this adventure too, so you next game should get me to Level 2 if all goes well.

Grand Lodge

By the way, could everyone prepare their notes for the upcoming report scene please?

I'd also need to know if you still plan on exploring the last remaining cave.

Sovereign Court

Male Human (Taldan) Wizard (Enchantment Manipulator) 16 HP: 130/130 | AC: 12 | T: 12 | FF: 10 | CMD: 20 | Fort: +14 | Ref: +13 | Will: +18| Init: +2 | Perception: +7 | Sense Motive: +8

I'm against exploring further, as much as I want to see what the rest of the cave holds. But I'll go if the rest of the party want to.

What format should our report notes take? Will it be a verbal report, or does it need to be written?

Silver Crusade

Sorry for a bit of a late warning. Just hit a snag irl and I just managed to grab hold of wifi and post this. Will post late this night!

Silver Crusade

If it wouldn't throw things off too much, I've got another PFS character that's ready to move on to another scenario. I've got to get him to level 2 beforehand (just finished the Confirmation with him, went much better than with this one..:-P), if that's still okay.

Grand Lodge

Of course it is, Garret! We'll start the new scenario soon, I think.

Tenaka: Could you please tell me today what boon you choose? I'd like to report the game since no one else appears to be willing to report (awesome reports from Ardisen and Cha-Ka though!).

Sovereign Court

Just wanted to say a massive thankyou to Lithrac and all the players for a great game. I look forward to gaming alongside some of you again.

Grand Lodge

You're welcome! It was a pleasure GMing this one, though I would have preferred it without casualty.

Scarab Sages

Thanks GM Lithrac it certainly was a fun game! It was very challenging for a group our size even before the minotaur encounter.

A sad loss of Garret, but hopefully some small comfort to know that this game will shape all of our future sessions with these characters. Your sacrifice will not be forgotten!

Thanks GM, except for Garret's death it was a very fun game.

and a pleasure to play with all of you ! My only regret would be to not being able to save our friend.
