Class Abilities:

Weapon/Armor Proficiency: All simple and martial weapons, light and medium armor, shields (not tower shields)
Favored Target: At 1st level, a slayer can study an opponent he can see as a move action. The slayer then gains a +1 bonus on Bluff, Knowledge, Perception, Sense Motive, and Survival checks against that opponent, a +1 bonus on weapon attack and damage rolls against it, and a +1 bonus to DCs of slayer class abilities against that opponent. These bonuses remain in effect until either the opponent is dead or the slayer studies a new target.
Track: A slayer adds half his level (minimum 1) to Survival skill checks made to follow tracks.

Sneaky: Tengus gain a +2 racial bonus on Perception and Stealth checks.
Gifted Linguist: Tengus gain a +4 racial bonus on Linguistics checks, and learn 2 languages each time they gain a rank in Linguistics rather than 1 language.
Swordtrained: Tengus are trained from birth in swordplay, and as a result are automatically proficient with sword-like weapons (including bastard swords, daggers, elven curve blades, falchions, greatswords, kukris, longswords, punching daggers, rapiers, scimitars, short swords, and two-bladed swords).
Natural Weapons: A tengu has a bite attack that deals 1d3 points of damage.
Senses: Tengus have low-light vision allowing them to see twice as far as humans in conditions of dim light.

Cha-Ka wears loose, sandy colored pants that only go down to what would be mid-calf on a human. The bottom of the pants are tied shut to discourage sand from blowing inside of them into uncomfortable locations. His shirt is similarly colored and sleeveless with a deep v-neck. Around his head he wears a scarf to protect his head from the unrelenting sun, ready to turn it into an impromptu face mask in the case of a sudden sandstorm.

Personality/Background:

Cha-Ka Ra was raised as a sword-scholar. He values learning and knowledge, but would much rather gain this through exploration and experience than sitting safely in a library. He views those who focus on book-learning with slight distain, believing that they in a fantasy world rather than reality. This is slightly ironic since Cha-Ka seems to live in the past, which ends up working out all right since he enjoys spending his time in long-forgotten tombs and crypts. This leads to the "sword" part of sword-scholar. Cha-Ka knows that ancient tombs are often guarded by ancient powers and that it would be foolish to enter without knowing how to handle himself.

While he prefers to work alone, a few close calls have forced him to admit that working with others is probably a safer and wiser choice. Finding people to go with him has been a bit of a challenge though as he finds that he tends to unnerve people. It probably has to do with the way he will sometimes stare unblinkingly at someone else, normally someone being annoyingly chatty and distracting him, until they shut up. He hopes that by joining the Pathfinder Society he'll find more adventurers to travel with him. If he's very lucky, he might even find tolerable companions who share his interests in the past, but he's less than optimistic about this prospect.
