This is a CORE game. Please double check your character is Core (i.e. only uses the Core rule book and nothing else)
If you are currently in a game or expect to apply a GM chronicle before play, hold off putting in the information.
To make my life easier when it comes to filling in chronicles, if you could each put in a single post with:
Chronicle: What chronicle number this is for the character
History: What scenarios has the character completed? (or been credited with); any other chronicles (special boons etc)
Name:(the player) real name (as you have it appear on your chronicle sheets)
AKA: Character name
Faction: Your faction
PFS: # for the character
XP: starting XP, Note if Slow track!
Prestige: Starting prestige
Fame: Starting Fame
Gold: Starting wealth you bring into the adventure. This should be the total on your previous chronicle. If you want to buy any new stuff... see further on.
Day job: include the roll or that you don't have one. If you want to use a reroll at the end just note here you may want to use a reroll. If you don't include a roll I'll be assuming you take ten. Add the actual gold amount if you want to save me looking it up...
Spend: If you want to buy anything before the scenario starts (apart from your initial 150gp if you are a new character) include it here. This will appear in the "items bought" and/or "items sold" part of the chronicle.
Try to hold off actual discussion here until we have one post per character with those details (makes life easy for me to make the chronicles for you all at the end).
Please add an Icon for your character to the map. If you don't know how, let me know and I'll help. Also dot into the gameplay thread, or just hang around and RP there if you like.

Sajan, Level 4 Pregen! |

Don't want to clutter gameplay so I'll put this here: Spring Attack does not trigger AoOs; even so, a roll of 8 would not attack Sajan I believe.

![]() |

I don't generally put the attack bonuses into attack and saves. It means you can see the base roll and get a feel for how skillful an opponent is, but not know exactly.
I did miss the spring attack. Looks like Sajan isn't hit at all.

Sajan, Level 4 Pregen! |

Ok, thanks for letting me know about attack rolls. I thought she had some kind of demigoddess powers! :P
And yes, I never played that pregen before: I did a double take when I read the Spring Attack feat again. It had been so long since I saw it in play. It's quite nasty at level 4!

![]() |

And just as it gets exciting.. I head off to a conference.
I'll be away for a couple of days, and unlikely to post. It might happen, but don't count on it.

Sajan, Level 4 Pregen! |

Will be unable to post tomorrow due to a work thing; will resume Thu. Ttyl! (feel free to bot me)

Thanks for the run, GM! I transcribed the boons, by the way (but we're CORE, so the second boon is pretty useless):
Enlightened Ambassador
Even in your short time at Tar Kuata, you have learned a few practical tricks from the Iroran monks. As a move action, you can ente a meditative trance that makes your senses more acute, your reflexes faster, and you mind more focused. The trance lasts for 1 hour, and you can end it (no action) at any point during this time to gain one of the following benefits: gain a +4 insight bonus on a saving throw against a mind-affecting effect, increase your speed by 10 feet for 1 round, or ignore concealment when making attacks for 1 round. When your trance ends, cross this boon off your Chronicle sheet.
Tar Kuata Initiate
The monks of Tar Kuata have recognized your potential and offered to train you at their monastery for a minimal cost. When using the rules for retraining (Pathfinder RPG Ultimate Campaign 188), you treat all classes as though they had retraining synergy with the monk class; those that already have retraining synergy with the monk class instead reduce the number of days required to retrain any class level into a monk by 1. A monk retraining a monk class archetype also reduces the time spent by 1 day for every alternate class feature gained or lost.
Finally, if you are a dwarf monk, you can cross this entire boon off your Chronicle sheet when retraining to gain the Ouat monk archetype (Pathfinder Campaign Setting: Inner Sea Combat 41) for free. If any other archetypes you possess modify the same class feature as the Ouat archetype replaces, you lose those archetypes at no cost. Likewise, if an alternate dwarven racial trait modifies the same racial trait as the Ouat archetype, the archetype modifies that alternate racial trait instead.

Sajan, Level 4 Pregen! |

I thought chronicle boons were the exception and could override CORE restrictions?

![]() |

Boons are the exception, but you need access to the Ultimate Campaign book to retrain. This boon modifies retraining rules, but it doesn't give you the ability to retrain.

![]() |

I checked, but the second boon is actually very useful in Core. It opens up that archetype which would not normally be available.
Retraining is specifically allowed in CORE, and has been from the very beginning of the CORE version society play.
Albeit if I look at the latest version of the guide, it doesn't get called out in that section, but it is listed specifically in the guide itself, which is in turn a viable source for CORE material

![]() |

Ooo, I learn something new every day. Looks like that could be cool if you want to do some monk retraining!

Sajan, Level 4 Pregen! |

Excellent! :)

![]() |

GM,since the game is over, where did we miss some loot? :)

![]() |

Yeap. The mold covered goods between the hellknights and that tower had some valuables in it, but nothing magic.
The instant fortress there is no easy way to get, you have to come up with some inventive way to get it back. Bot that it was especially obvious - and at 55k I suspect has never been actually bought by a PFS character.
