I know fast healing and Regen are ALMOST the same. But Regen actually restores limbs and such. So I like the idea that he's incredibly hard to kill. Just need to figure out what could bypass it. Perhaps similar to a balor. Only a Holy Weapon of +5?

So regen equal to your Charisma modifier. That gives you 4 for now and up to 9.
Yeah I am good with that.
Most regens do have a negating factor. A holy weapon sounds appropriate.

So I'm still very busy. I hope you don't mind, I'll write my story here, piece meal, and then copy and paste later into the profile. As editing the profile on my phone is a bit of a shlep and takes more time than I have


Part 1:

Micheal Fletcher was a scrawny guy from childhood. No physical attributes that he could call useful in way. Short Dirty blonde hair. Average hight. A few freckles. Green eyes. And a very reserved demeanor. He could easily be just one in the crowd. That was till he went to highschool. All these attributes garnered the ire of a bunch of bullies

Taking his money to physical abuse. Michael could do nothing but endure it. Even his home life was rather strained. Shipped from one aunt to another every other week, as he had no parents. So going to them for help was sadly no help.

Only in the virtual world did he find solace and a sense of power. There he was more than he could ever be in the real world. Power. Prowess. Even his online friends were more helpful than any grownup. So between homework and school, he spent his days in the game world.

One day he found out the bullies at school were also avid players, and often bullied newbies and showed a lot of their life skills in the world. So he made it his job to hunt them down and start giving them what he wished he could in the real world. So he started to focus to target them. As most played mages, he began to focus and aim to get items and skill to better aggrivate them. Even if it meant that they would vent their game frustration on him in the real world. Not that they knew it was him, he was just their unlucky punching bag

I have some time freed up this weekend so will be using it to complete her backstory.

Thanks, I will not rush to get her backstory done asap, so that I come up with a better overall backstory for her, including what she has been doing in-game since the night the game changed.

Schools started again for me. So I am super busy. Still purging and organizing, then I have to prepare lessons too! So I may not be as active as I wish my players are but at the moment I feel like I post even more than them. I was hoping new players would get us moving more. This campaign has the most active players in most of my games. Well besides TheWaskally, he posts every day and has awesomely long posts. But when the other players say I attack the nearest enemy and don't even look at the map I feel appauled. Sorry for the rant but I hope that we can get this game moving even more!

Guys remember this is a Player driven campaign. If you don't give me something to work with, nothing is going to happen.

I don't prep for campaigns anymore. I put in as much time as my players, which is about an hour before the game.

Fair, I'll try to do that more.

Desseer is going to get the note from the Red Quarter, get poison from the guild district, cast mage hand a bunch on to the parchment to give it a faint magical aura, poison lieutenants in the Arcane Quarter, and the put then note in the mouth of one of the poisoned.

That way, a trail followed could imply either one of the Craterlords from another Quarter or that Craterlords are working together.

Given that they are in the same district, it could be fun to run into the hubbub. It would also be fun story-wise to pass like ships in the night.

As a player, I would prefer to meet up with Myriana and Ink. Though that is only because they don't know where we are and what we are up to. And that gives me a little anxiety.

Note if we do meet up: Desseer is in a new disguise that I don't think Ink or Myriana has seen.

Also also: GM I have not forgotten your request, I just want to build a little foundation before turning things into utter chaos. I'm curious to see how far Sow Thought can get me.

I am going to be helping a friend create her very first original PF2E character today, and if needed tomorrow as well, so her character is ready for the game session tomorrow night. Aside from possibly needing some of Sat afternoon to to help her finish character creation (including character backstory) I am hoping to use Saturday afternoon to work on Sumukhi.


So I need to work with the GM to create a "vile leadership" cohort

Don't care much atm for class levels. So as a level 7 character. Would it be a Cr 4 or Cr 5 creature be okayed? I'm also willing to merge both mount/familiar into this feat to perhaps get a cohort with same level as I am

Also. Regarding the ring : 8000gp. Is that retail or craft price?

To the rest of the group: what good uses are there for WISH? Obviously not game breaking stuff. So far my mind has come up with very mundane ideas. Like permanent LARGE size for Skärbründ :P

Your cohort has to be two levels below you but may gain a +2 template.

The recap will occur in gameplay but it also depends on which guild you are starting with.

I don’t expect anyone to read the entire backstory for this character. So, to make things easier:

Background
* The person who played (and now is stuck in) Thorin was once an unremarkable, faceless person in the real world, trapped in a dull, soul-crushing routine. He found escape and purpose in Ygddrasil, where he could be someone who mattered. He built his life around crafting, mastering his skills, and creating lasting things, everything he wanted to do but couldn’t in real life. A dedicated roleplayer, he refused to follow the meta and pursued runecrafting, because it brought meaning to his life. Like everyone else he is now stuck in the game.

Appearance:
* IRL Persona: Plain, tidy, middle-of-the-road appearance. Neatly trimmed beard, average height and build, unremarkable business casual clothes. Nothing flashy, nothing that draws attention—just “one of the crowd.” Routine, orderly, predictable.
* IG persona: Designed to look like himself, only dwarven. Has the larger build he wanted but couldn’t grow due to corporate culture. Armor and clothing all crafted to look like an NPC. His goal was to make a character who blended into the world, looking as authentic as possible. The only thing that stands out as being different is that he doesn’t use a regular weapon or shield. Rather, he fights with his gauntlets. This makes him look like he is unarmed. At least, that is, until combat begins. It is then that his gauntlets expand, with blades for slashing, piercing and blocking coming out.

Mechanics
* Blacksmith/Technician, to show runecrafting. Can buff allies at the start of each day. You can pick 1 from the list in the spoiler that he can help with.
* Nothing flashy. Just 2 hard hitting attacks that can each trip. Only has 30ft move speed, so he is limited by design. He’s supposed to throw kind of player wanted to blend in as much as possible, hence the design choices.

Maintenances:

Armor Maintenance

The blacksmith and his allies reduce the armor check penalty of all armor they wear by 1 (minimum 0), and increase the armor bonus of their worn armor (but not shields) by +1. The armor bonus increases by +1 and the armor check penalty is reduced by an additional 1 at 5th level and every 5 levels thereafter. For the purposes of this ability, a standard set of clothing or similar equivalent (such as a wizard’s robes) is treated as light armor with an armor bonus and armor check penalty of 0.

Clarifying Reinforcements

The blacksmith hammers thin lead linings into helmets and head gear, sews small packets of smelling salts into glove linings, and performs other tasks that give his allies an advantage in resisting harmful mental effects; all creatures affected by this maintenance gain a +1 competence bonus to Will saves, plus an additional +1 for every 5 class levels the blacksmith possesses.

Cobbling

The blacksmith reinforces his allies’ footwear, giving them a firmer tread and providing sturdier protection; the blacksmith and his allies ignore the first square of difficult terrain they enter each round; at 5th level and every five levels thereafter, they may ignore one additional square of difficult terrain each round.

Fortifying Reinforcements

The blacksmith adds special herbal packets and additional temporary reinforcements to his and his allies armor making them heartier and more resistant; all creatures affected by this maintenance gain a +1 competence bonus to Fortitude saves, plus an additional +1 for every 5 class levels the blacksmith possesses.

Heavy-Duty Reinforcement

The blacksmith adds temporary reinforcements to his and his allies’ equipment, increasing the hardness and hit points of all affected creatures’ weapons and armor by an amount equal to his class level. In addition, weapons affected by this maintenance ignore an amount of hardness when used to sunder or damage objects equal to 1/2 the blacksmith’s class level (minimum 1).

Pack Straps

By optimizing the straps and buckles of his allies packs and pouches, the blacksmith and his allies may treat their Strength score as though it were 2 points higher when determining their carrying capacity, plus an additional 2 points for every 5 class levels the blacksmith possesses.

Polish

The blacksmith polishes his allies metal armor, weapons, and shields, giving them a clean polish that can even deflect magical attacks. Once per day, when an affected ally would normally be hit by a ray attack, they may deflect it as a free action that can be taken even when it is not their turn so that they take no damage and are unaffected by it. The ally must be aware of the attack and not flat-footed. The blacksmith and his affected allies may reflect one additional ray per day at 5th level and every 5 levels thereafter.

Quickening Reinforcements

The blacksmith oils the joints and treats the leather of his and his allies’ gear, granting them a +1 competence bonus to Reflex saves, plus an additional +1 for every 5 class levels the blacksmith possesses.

Sharpen Weapons

The blacksmith and his allies gain a +2 bonus to all damage rolls made with manufactured weapons. This bonus increases by +2 at 5th level and every 5 levels thereafter.

GM: For guild does he need to start with one? With his backstory he had his own very small RP guild (Clan Spellsplitter). But if he needs to start with one then I defer to your judgement as I currently lack info to make a good decision.

im not the GM, but that is similar to a spell that you can get, so i dont think its too far fetched

Thanks, glad that you found it balanced.

I've been playing around with Thorin's build abit, as I don't think the template and class meshed by raw. As always, if there is anything our GM does not approve of, of if at the table it turns out to be problematic, I am open to change and balance.


Yes Seeds of Slaughter would be the Dragon's Glory and Seeds of Slaughter have peace accords/allies of some sort. Right please clarify my memory is sketchy on that.

I know Seeds of Slaughter has a peace accords with the Witches Coven.

Thorin, I would suggest that you start with Dragon's Glory, with the Stonefire Merchants. I will introduce Arthur your guildmaster. Or you can be in your own guild if you want, that is fine too.
