The door in front of Kyra is locked. Kyra's first swing at the door doesn't seem to do much to it, but her second swing seems to splinter away a chunk of the door!

Disappointed that none of the men had a key, Wyatt moves over to the central tower, and, mentally crossing his fingers, gingerly attempts to open the door.

Kyra quickly checks the laying corpse in front of her, sets her shield back in position and runs after Wyatt while making a blessing to Serenrae "Dawnflower, please, close our wounds and help us finish with our enemies." trying to get all the allies and no enemy in the area.

If there is time for it, she also casts a magic weapon spell over Wyatt's weapon and draws the protection vs evil scroll to her shield hand.

As Kyra moves up the stairs, her efforts at diplomacy are disrupted by a flail swinging at her head! Fortunately for her, Sarenrae is with her and the weapon misses!

I moved Kyra and Asarnil's tokens to the 2nd floor map. The center tower and on the main map is the same as the left side of the map. The arrow means they are the same thing. Missile fire is not currently possible in this configuration.

Realising that the stairwell is chock-full of bodies, Wyatt pulls out a rope and grappling hook, and launches it up at the second level, attempting to arrange an alternative means of ingress.

Nessian swings again at Kyra, as the image of a fiery hellhound appears to leap from the man at Kyra! Nessian makes some quickfooted moves which leaves the poor cleric flatfooted as he finally brings the flail down against her skull! Nessian's whole body seems to shift and blur with movement, making it difficult to pinpoint exactly where he is standing!

As the incredible hit opens a gash from arm to arm in Kyra's chest she shouts in terrible pain.

Unable to move out of the combat without leaving her companions exposed, Kyra slashes towards the tricky human.

Kyra clears her mind, muttering a prayer to Sarenrae and strikes true with her scimitar! The blade slashes Nessian, who cries out in pain as he falls to the floor!

Wyatt climbs up a wide opening that leads to a siege tower bridge, once used for traversing enemy walls. The bridge extends to the south and is 10 feet long.

Out of Combat!

The upper-level of the central siege tower is littered with the various-sized colored lanterns that Nessian has procured to trigger the Silent Tide. The codebook is easily found hidden inside the workshop desk. The book contains the vital note you seek: the abort code Yargos is so desperately seeking to end the Silent Tide.

Though few will be aware of the Pathfinder's bravery, they have saved Absalom from a potentially devastating attack. Better still you have taken Nessian and his War Hounders off the streets. The Pathfinders have the thanks of Yargos and Venture-Captain Valsin, and they ensure that the Pathfinder's reputation within the Puddle District is deservedly enhanced. Yargos may well prove to be a friend and ally that the Pathfinders can rely upon in the future.

For the Glory of the Veskarium! Docking Bay 3-3

Welcome of my very first Core Campaign Mode game! Some how over the years I have never managed to play or GM this scenario. After watching for about a week on the recruitment threads to see if someone else was going to run one, I figured that I would go ahead and run it myself.

I will be taking some minor creative license with the scenario in terms of making things reto-fit into more of what the current understand of the Pathfinder Society looks like in game.

PFS Number: 134452-6 (that is my only Core character)

I am a late arrival to PFS (just since end of season 5) and haven't played almost none of the first scenarios. This one in particular I haven't GMed nor played.

I know adapting season 0 scenarios from 3.5 to Pathfinder is sometimes problematic, as CR aren't always compatible. Plus some objects doesn't exist in Pathfinder, so thanks for the extra effort!

As I said I don't know about previous seasons a lot, so I don't know how the Society has really evolved, it will be nice to see what do you come with.

I've been playing PFS since the end of 3rd season, mostly by post. I played a couple of season 0 scenarios but mostly joined the games that were avaiable at the moment so I can't say I have a cohesive PFS season experience.
This is my 4th character, 2 of the others (a fighter and an oracle of life) are currently involved in other pbp games.
As for the Society changes that occurred through season I know something, mostly because I had to update the background of my taldan fighter at least 3 times.

You go to the character profile tab and whatever you write in the Race, Classes/Levels and Gender fields will appear below your name.

You can take one of our stat bars as example.

Below the message box is a button saying "Show" that will teach you what format brackets are available.

Gm Mark, could you change they character "Phylotus" to "Barret Orc-Born?" Or is there I was I can do so that I am missing?

Barret, I am at a loss at the moment as to why it shows you under 'Characters' at Phylotus. Generally when you post under any alias that will show up. You might try closing down your browser and clearing your cookies? Black magic guesswork :) Kyra has it right for your stat lines, very handy!

I'll give Wyatt time to check in officially in the gameplay thread before moving on answering the reto-questions etc...

I hope you guys had fun, I had a good time running it for you! It is a little hard to say for sure how much Core play did or didn't change things for this since it was written under the 3.5 rules and I was generally surprised how 'fragile' all the bad guys seemed (except Nessian's build can make him a bit of a brute but that's fine for the final fight).

I will get the Chronicles scanned and sent out ASAP. It looks like Barret and Wyatt get day job rolls (unless I missed something on Kyra and Asarnil).

Tier 1-2 creatures are usually quite light, fortunately, as there is not much buffer for error. And Season 0 NPC conversions from 3.5 to Pathfinders are a bit chaotic, some are horrible, other's too weak.

I enjoyed the game Mark, again, thanks a lot, I hope we can play together soon :)

Asarnil, when I went to report the session I have an error on your character: Prestige does not count. Character is incorrect organized play type PFSRPG for table of type PFSPFC.

I believe that is because your character was not correctly created/registered as a CORE character? This is all new to me though so I am not 100% sure where the problem is. Your Chronicle is going to be scanned and sent to you, and indicates it is a Core game however.

Just be careful - from what I understand, reporting a non-CORE character at a table, makes the entire table 'non-Core' :-/

Asarnil is indeed RPG a non-Core.

This happened also on my first Core game as a GM. The problem is there are 2 buttons to create a PC, and no matter if you just created the character and it is just Core, if you use the "Create New Character" button instead of the "Create Core Character" button, it is marked as RPG. Once you have posted you cannot delete the player to created again and the Officers can do nothing to revert your character to non-Core.

In the end we find the only solution was for the player to create a new Core character and assign the chronicle to him.

I have found the best way to prevent this is to make a report test before starting a Core game. If the character appears as RPG instead of RPC, then I kindly let him know the problem and request him to appropriately register the character.
