Congratulations Malaika! Your choice of one of the following three boons. Let me know which as I have to submit it with the game reporting. Try not to die in the closing bit (still possible).

I also need your email address so they can email you the chronicle with the boon on it. From previous memory this sometimes takes a few weeks :-(

The Player boons are:

1) Adopted Weapon Training
2) Ancestral Ally
3) Custom Order

Adopted Weapon Training: You have spent an extended period of time training in a culture other than your own, and as a result, you have learned that population’s weapon styles to the exclusion of all others. You gain the weapon familiarity racial trait of one of the following races: dwarf, elf, gnome, halfling, or half-orc. This specialization comes at a price, and you suffer a –1 penalty on attack rolls made with manufactured weapons other than those granted by any weapon familiarity racial traits you possess. You ignore this penalty when using a weapon that benefits from any Weapon Focus feat or weapon training class feature you may have.

Ancestral Ally: Golarion’s many cultures have traditions of animal husbandry and cooperation that date back millennia, and you have embraced one of your people’s favored companion creatures. If you have the divine bond or mount class feature, instead of choosing an animal companion from the list provided in the class description, you may instead call a mount from the list below so long as you are a member of the corresponding race. If the animal companion statistics for your race’s mount are found in a source beyond the Core Assumption, the source is listed below. You must bring a copy of the listed book to all games in which you use the selected animal companion as though access to the animal companion came from the Additional Resources list.

If an asterisk follows an animal companion option listed below, the animal already appears on the list provided by your class description, and you are at least 4th-level, you may spend 5 Prestige Points to strengthen your bond with that type of animal. This increases your effective druid level as one higher when determining the animal companion’s bonus HD, natural armor bonus, Strength and Dexterity bonuses, bonus tricks, and special abilities. This boon cannot increase your effective druid level more than one level above your actual character level.

Dwarf: badger*, boar
Elf: bird*, elk (Pathfinder RPG Bestiary 3)
Gnome: badger*, giant weasel (Pathfinder RPG Bestiary 4)
Halfling: dog*, ram (Pathfinder RPG Bestiary 2)
Half-Elf: A half-elf may choose from the elf and human lists.
Half-Orc: camel*, bear; a half-orc may also choose from the human list.
Human: bird*, horse*

Custom Order: You have a special contract with an ammunition crafter, and you are able to order small batches of specialty ammunition as a result. Choose either a +1 or +2 ranged weapon enchantment. You may purchase +1 [enchantment] pieces of ammunition in sets of 10 instead of sets of 50. Once you choose the weapon enchantment, you may only change the enchantment type by spending 4 Prestige Points.

Stupid question. You said 1 or 20. Grimli and me got a 1, too.
So we do not get the boon?
Second. Can we apply the boon to any char, or only to the char we are playing?
Third:
I have an assimar with the scion of humanity trait and count as a humanoid human. May I choose a bird?
And Fourth:
Custom order: You say +1 or +2 and just list the benefit for +1 arrows?

The boon has to be for the character played (I think - it may be tradable not too sure)

I think the answer for #3 is "no", but can check for you.

Fourth - pick +1 or +2 for either you can pick the bonus; AGain it will be clear on the chronicle (I hope) the information above is a cut and paste from what I was given.

I believe the boons are only applicable to the character that "earned" it. That said, I have a question as well:

Grimbli is a sorcerer, and would not benefit at all from option 1. However, he has an animal companion as a druid (level - 3) through his Sylvan bloodline. Can he benefit from option 2 at all? If so, which part(s)?

I'm loathe to retrain the character just to take advantage of the boon, but it would be frustrating to get the boon and have it just waste away. Regardless, I've PM'ed you my email address.

The boon C&P was specific to animal companion, not to familiar or Eldion or such. Givne it also ties into race, I suspect the answer is - if you don't have an animal companion, you should take a different boon.

Let me clarify: as a Sylvan sorcerer, Grimbli has an animal companion.

Animal Companion (Ex): You gain an animal companion. Your effective druid level for this ability is equal to your sorcerer level – 3 (minimum 1st). This bloodline power counts as your bloodline arcana and also replaces laughing touch.

However, the boon is written such that it only affects characters with "the divine bond or mount class feature". Paladins get divine bond, cavaliers get a mount. Druids, however, get their animal companions via the "nature bond" feature of their class.

It does indeed look as though Druids do not get to make use of the boon.

Honestly though, I wouldn't worry too much about it. Much like a bard does not get use of an Axe Beak.

All right just waiting if an aasimar with scion of humanity qualifies for the human ancestral ally boon. :-)

Reading Scion of Humanity it says

..humanoid (human) for any effect related to race, including feat prerequisites..

This is not exactly a feat prerequisite, but is very similar, and it does say any, I suspect you are okay.

As for Grimbli as this is PFS I suspect you must go by the letter, and it would be better to pick a different boon.

For the weapon enchantment, I think it means there is a +1 enhancement bonus, with an extra ability that is the equilivent of a +1 or +2 bonus.

Chronicles are also up. Please check them. I'll be a way for a few days, but let me know if there are any corrections needed.

Thanks for the game all, this scenario is a little odd, and you can do it with no fights at all (you missed the really hard one by playing the trap/trick right). That is frustrating for low skill point characters at times.

Reporting will be via GD3, so take some time to come through.

Malaika - Ancestral Ally (are you intending to multi-class later? otherwise this does nothing for you)

Grimbli will go ahead and choose the Custom Order boon (I'm thinking that the Lesser Designating enchantment might be helpful, for those times we don't have a bard and Grimbli's out of spells - he just needs a crossbow).

I doubt it - the "bird" animal companion is the eagle/hawk/owl entry; roc is something different entirely.

Lesser Designating is Morale. A Bard's Inspire Courage +hit is Competence. They stack just fine.

What it would not stack with are such things as Bless, Flagerbearer feat, or one of my new favorite feats Battlecry.

Rock is a special creature. "Bird" is a generic bird.

By the way, Rumour has it that these are transferable.

I'm jsut putting down the ally business, the details you may need to fill in on the chronicle yourself. We'll see how that plays out.
