Okay, I will ponder this. I imagine any loot you found would have been found either during your plundering or from the Magma Dragon's hoard. I'll put up individual lists later today.

Our Mysterious Benefactor |

Indeed, why do you think I threw that in there? Okay, let's give Crang until tomorrow to respond to the Enlarge idea and then I'll hand out loot.

Crang |

Valegrim, I have taken Whosi to level 7: done your skills but still awaiting 3 feats and 2 rogue talents.
I have also given you Crang's spare armour and some masterwork tools. OMB might give you some other cool stuff. I'd suggest boots of Elvenkind, belt of dex, headband of int and a saving-throw boosting cloak. Plus a weapon.

Ank-hore |

ok cool Splurg, i got the skeleton crew spell which summons undead that can pilot the ship if we run short of crew. Also i took command undead with my channeling. the other option was 4th level cleric and 3rd level gunslinger strapping the unholy pistol to his missing hand.

Sounds like a plan! The Shattered Star begins in Magnimar, where the PCs are newly hired Pathfinders assigned to the newest Chapter House. Strange artifacts are afoot and the Pathfinders are right at the heart of it all!
It will be a 1st level starting point, 20 point buy, average starting wealth and Good/Neutral PCs. I'll allow non-standard races, providing you have a good reason why the Pathfinders would allow you to attend. Also, while it's not necessary for the Path, you can also choose a Pathfinder Society faction to join. You will gain Prestige awards throughout the Path.
Also, in an effort to keep combat straight, I will be using Roll20, a VTT as a tool to move PCs, keep track of maps, share journal entries, etc. It's free, and I quite like it, even though we won't be using it for its intended purpose.
Any idea what you guys might want to play? I think I'll need two additional PCs for a total of 5, so if you know of anyone you'd quite like to game with, let me know!

This is obviously going to be a game for Pratchett fans, adventuring with Glod and Detritus! :D
I am tempted be two character ideas:
A ranger from Osirion whose favoured terrain is dungeons from all of the ruin-delving out there at the moment. He's been helping to guide foreign pathfinders around pyramids and whatnot for a few years and is now eager to have his turn exploring the exotic, verdant lands of Varisia. Might even go for an aasimar character as I've enjoyed the new book.
A Varisian rogue who used to run with a few Scarnzi but grew to despise them and is very much anti-Scarnzi now: "They give our people a bad name." She's a throughtful, lurker in the shadows type, perhaps a scroll-scoundrel with a maxed-out UMD, which is how she's involved with the Pathfinders.

Glod |

I'm thinking Oracle, Witch, or Summoner We can see what the others want first. Detritus and I may have someone who will play we can ask him. I know he has been lurking because another game we were in was going a little slow.
And Yes very much Prachett fans. I have every one of his books that's on paperback. Including all of his nonDiscworld ones.

Sounds good! I might be changing the AP from Shattered Star to Curse of the Crimson Throne. There's a lot more maps and materials available for Curse. The only change is you start in Korvosa and have to build a motive for hating one Gaedram Lamm into your background. He's pretty vile, so it's not so hard.

Glod |

So depending on which campign.
GeraintElberion Ranger or Rogue
Kaytom Cleric, Paladin, or Druid
Glod Witch, SUmmoner, or Oracle
Detritius Cleric, Summoner, Wizard, or Bard
SS is more forest/dungeon is CotCT more city? The players guide didn't really explain but it mostly talked about the city.

![]() |

Geraint, I think you'd be fine. PbPs are slow enough that you should have plenty of time to separate knowledge.
I'm leaning Curse of the Crimson Throne because 1) it's awesome; 2) I have a lot more maps and handouts pre-made for it; and 3) Shattered STar is kind of a sequel to Rise of the Runelords and Curse, and I'd like to run Curse before I run Shattered. But it's up to you!
Yes, Curse is about 1/2 City-based, then heads off to the wilds of Varisia before coming back to the City.

Sorry James, I think you're a really cool GM but I'll have to say I'm out.
I think there are four kinds of APs for me as a player.
1: APs I have GMed, I'm pretty good at separating character knowledge so these are kind of awesome. I enjoy seeing the game on multiple levels in this way. I tend to ick players who take a decision-making backseat.
2: APs I have read, still pretty cool. Again, multi-level as I can see how things pan out compared to my expectations and I can contribute to the RP. Still playing back-seat characters.
3: APs I have not read or GMed. Awesome, I get to have a unique voyage of discovery and be a decision-maker.
4: APs I have played in before but not read... I just don't find this tempting, just re-treading old ground without any kind of new perspective beyond observing the other players. Really unlike 1 and 2, especially as I am part-way through book 3 so don't really understand a lot of big plotty-stuff. I won't get to have the layered experience of 1 and 2, or the freshness of 3. It just doesn't seem at all tempting.

Okay, I've made a discussion thread for Curse, so let's all go there and sign in!
