When he was a youth he went by the name Grac. All that changed when he was captured by human pirates while he was looking for slavage on the shores near his village. When the human got him on board the decided at first he would be a great target for throwing blade at in which his hand was cut off. After they had their fun that way it was decided he would take the place of parts of the ship. First he was the figure head then he got moved to the crowsnest, then one of the masts eventually he was tied to the Anchor and there he was forgotten for the most part. They only seemed to remember him when they where drunk and need to lower their Ank-hore. He survived the battle with Lady Lastbreath everytime lowered him under and for that she gave him power. Ank-hore used that new found power to help offer this ship to his new mistress. When he emerged from the sea he was covered in barnacles and Seaweed. As he walked the beach he gathered his current belongings from the wreckage of the ship he sank.

Ank-hore found a Goblin with the skill and had him attach a sickle to where his hand had been lost. It took him time to get used to it and a few maimed companions but in the end it is worth it.
