Zokon, My bad. You hit but not critically so. The kitty cat is hurt, but not down and still determined. The AoO fails to connect.
Alia, Officially, there is no nonlethal version of a Coup-de-grace, though I have no trouble allowing it. In this case however while the cat is 'stunned' and 'blind' it is not considered 'helpless' so no coup-de-grace is possible.

Scarlet hustles after the rat, double moving south, 80 feet.
Scarlet pounds the pavers after the dog-sized rat. The creature notices her approach and looks skyward toward an opening above.
The walls in the sewer are rough brickwork.

Alia of the Blade |

My bad, double mistake. Since we are level 1, I had assumed the kittys have less than 3 HD each, which would mean they should have been unconscious from the color spray. You did point out they are only stunned and blinded...my mistake.
Regarding the Coup-de-grace, I suppose I have so often played in rounds where it's a de-facto houserule. Specifically, "unarmed" coup-de-grace to knock out, non-lethal...or with weapons dealing non-lethal, like a sap.(e.g. rogue sneaking up on a sleeping target, knock them out with sap, instead of having to stab them to death). My bad. Can i instead pick one up and secure it in a cage? What kind of actions would that take? 3 move actions per kitty?(pick up, move, lock)

RPGGGM |

Grapple checks would be the appropriate maneuver to grab a cat and once the grapple is controlled move it. Note: cats are pretty competent vicious grapplers regardless of size. Of course yours are stunned....
Edited 12:10 EST.

Alia of the Blade |

Grapple or Drag: 1d20 + 3 + 4 ⇒ (7) + 3 + 4 = 14
Out of curiosity, do I REALLY need another grapple-check to actually MOVE with the cat? They may be small, but I AM quite strong. I would assume I could "pick up" a stunned cat, or "drag" it along courtesy of weight difference, if not size difference. Alternatively, could I pick up a cage and place it over the kitty? I am trying hard to actually imagine the situation, but even if those are small rather than tiny, it feels kinda weird they are so resilient while stunned...basically, I leave my action up to you, whatever would make most sense to restrain the cats as quickly as possible, I would do, avoiding lethal damage if there is any reasonable way to do so.

Yeah my home connection has been pretty kvetchy lately. It's tough to make a post when you have to do it over 4 times. I've got into the habit of copying my text before I hit submit.
For the record Numalar would normally be wielding a longspear or the crossbow. I would have expected the crossbow for this operation since the narrow passage kept him away from the front of the group. Clubs are free so he has one as a backup (it's his "walking stick"), but it will almost never get used as a weapon.
As the rat scampers by, Numalar curses. "Marcathane's Codpiece! Is there no end to these filthy creatures?" Numalar steps back out into the hall and levels his crossbow at the rat.
I go before Scarlet so she is not in the way yet.

Poshment Underhill |

Posh is rarther shocked at Scarley's enthusiasm to kill a filthy sewer rat, appearing to enjoy it far too much. He draws a mace and decides to step into the room, weapon ready, but keeping his distance.

Alia drags the stubborn cat 5 feet. The blue cat hisses and bites.

Nice hit! I moved your icon beside Zokon to go after the white one (the closest one). Let us know if that's OK. You could have gone on the other side of Zokon to go after the blue one but since it is still active I'm guessing you don't want to get attacked.

"Uhh....this is one tough rat! Should I keep chasin' it?"
"Try using your fire! It might be proof against blades, but fire should do the trick... it is no hell-rat!"
Numalar looks at the rat again. Has it been changed by magic somehow?
Don't have knowledge: nature but if this is some kind of magical template then maybe arcana will work?
Knowledge (arcana): 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (14) + 7 = 21
If that tells me what type of damage will work I will call that out.
Otherwise, we don't know if it is DR /magic, /piercing, bludgeoning, or /cold iron or /silver (I am willing to bet that it isn't DR 5/adamantine). But we do know that its not DR 5/slashing. Process of elimination? You do have that masterwork shortsword which does piercing. Unfortunately Posh is too far away to cast grease on the area where it is climbing.

Numalar's fiery breath burns away the curtain to the next chamber. Laying on the floor just beyond is a wide-eyed, bound and gagged halfling man with a ratty-looking goatee.

"Sulfurous hellspawn you nearly fried me!" Numalar can see the halfling is covered in scratches and has a black eye. "I'm Weston, head of the Ratcatcher's Guild. And who blazes might you be?"
While Numalar talks, Zokon finds a number of mundane, slightly singed scrolls (bills and junk mail?) cluttering the top of the crate under a half-eaten wedge from a wheel of cheese, but nothing of real interest.
...
After a bit of diplomacy (by which time Scarlet reappears to help):
"That natty old Belia chucked me down the disposal chute and locked me up here, she was going to have some local Shadow toughs transport me somewheres if her cats didn't do me in first." He spits in their general direction. "The woman's mad I tell you. Kept goin' on about 'who's catchin' who now' and how she and someone called 'Vernon' were 'sendin' the town down the privies.' Geez Gods man, your breath is terrible, and you-" He says turning to Scarlet. "-you smell like Mephistopheles' arm pit."

Mr. Weston, entrepreneur |

"And I should point out that I do most of my work in the sewer so I know what I'm talkin' about." Weston finishes. "Say, were you going to release me or what?"
And then to Posh he adds:
"Old? Nah, she ain't old, just scrawny and knackered for a human, with hair like a dirty, bleached broom and teeth like the business end of a crowbar. I hired her two weeks back ta get inna those hard ta reach places."
