Poshbot's reaction is somewhat different. "Who me?! I'm fine inspiring courage from back here thank you! Besides, who will run for help if you are all taken prisoner? Besides you're all doing great!" (Inspire Courage round 2.)
Durgan brings his axe to bear on one zombie slicing in neatly in two through the mid section. The legs continue to walking but it's immediate treat seems ended.
Zokon hurries round the south edge of the fort looking for a way up to the towers, while Alia, still invisible, climbs (7.5' off the ground) toward the archers.

Scarlet Scarab |

"Fine. Just make sure Erevenywg is alright. It's gonna get nasty in there." Alia shrugs when Posh decides to stay out of trouble.
"Illthir, are you coming? I gotta figure out how to get around this wall."
Can Scarlet smash the wall? Looks wooden from the slides but I want to know if it's better to attack it, climb up, or move towards the front gate.
Also I still have a move action left.

RPGGGM |

The wall is made of tree trunks (hardness 5, and between 100 hp and 150 hp each depending on thickness. The wall itself is studded with punji stick-like protrusions all along its outer surface making is easier to climb (DC 15) but dangerous to do so (you need to make simultaneous acrobatics checks (DC 12) to avoid taking damage).

Scarlet Scarab |

Scarlet scoffs as she inspects the wall. "Ha! I could climb that in my sleep!"
If Scarlet takes 10 she can make both Climb and Acrobatics checks with a DC 17 and 18 respectively due to Enlarge Person.
But I'll wait for Serena (and possibly Illthir) first.

RPGGGM |

Scarlet can't take 10 given the situation and all the goings on, what with all the shooting, and shouting, and possibly cheese grating herself on the wall and such.

Scarlet Scarab |

I finally remember to take 10 when the DC's low enough and I picked the wrong situation to try. Figures.

Durgan Far-Walker |

You can always Take 10 if you have a Climb speed, which is why using Alia's bonded item spell for Spider Climb on the giant person (who could then let down a knotted rope) was my original idea.

Scarlet Scarab |

Speaking of...

"Oi! Stop it already!" Scarlet sidesteps the arrow. "Kids these days."

"Ahm-yes! Lift me over!" Illthir swallows her fear and grips her hammer tight.

RPGGGM |

Alia's climbs more! Harder! Faster!: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (19) + 7 = 26
Alia gets 15 feet above the ground. One more climb check should put her close to even with the tower floor then she she just needs one last climb check to get over the rail.
Serenabot smites the undead pawing at Scarlet.
+1 scimitar v red (inspired): 1d20 + 6 + 1 ⇒ (6) + 6 + 1 = 13 damage: 1d6 + 3 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 3 + 1 = 5

Trump-colored slam v Durgan: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (17) + 4 = 21 damage: 1d6 + 4 ⇒ (3) + 4 = 7 Miss
The zombies flail their fists at the companions, but do not score any solid blows.

Scarlet Scarab |

"Alright. Your turn." She hefts Serena over the wall. Scarlet looks at Illthir. "Get over here and I'll lift you over in a bit." Next turn!

Alia of the Blade |

Second action last round=Climb: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (8) + 7 = 15
Actually, climbing is a move action, so I should get a second one last round, right? And I should have started with 15 feet already, so should be on top for Round 4!
Round 1 get in position and try to climb - round 2 climb and climb, round 3 climb and climb, round 4 finally get to do something?(at least if 15 is sufficient to get over the railing)

Durgan Far-Walker |

Durgan hacks at a zombie.
Attack, Inspire, Juggernaut +1: 1d20 + 7 + 1 + 1 ⇒ (17) + 7 + 1 + 1 = 26
Damage: 1d8 + 4 + 1 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 4 + 1 + 1 = 8

Zokon Santyev |

Zokon keeps moving around the wall until he runs into the stairs he draws his rapier as he is moving and goes up the stairs Double move

RPGGGM |

[dice=Second action last round=Climb]1d20+7

Round 1 get in position and try to climb - round 2 climb and climb, round 3 climb and climb, round 4 finally get to do something?(at least if 15 is sufficient to get over the railing)
Actually Alia fell (Nat 1) got to her feet from prone, climbed, got climbotted, and just now took half her round's worth of actions.

Alia of the Blade |

I was not aware I was prone. Usually to end up prone from a fall, you need to take damage - not even getting off the ground did not seem to qualify. But fine, Natural 1. So I moved into position and fell, stood up and climbed(the roll I got to keep), then I should STILL get the double move action during getting climbotted. Meaning the half round worth of actions I took should still be the completion of last turn...at least putting me next to the rail and leaving two actions for this turn.
Climb: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (4) + 7 = 11 Of course. At least not 5 or more.
Climb: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (11) + 7 = 18
With great struggle, Alia keeps going. Climbing was not supposed to be this hard. Was it because she could not actually see what she was doing? Had she gained weight? Whatever the reason, the Elf struggled with the task, and after almost half a minute finally managed to get up to solid ground.
Also, of course, Posh's vanish is over by now so no more surprising them. :P

RPGGGM |

You did.
[dice=Non-accelerated climb 1 DC 20]1d20+7[=8]
[dice=Non-accelerated climb 2 DC 20]1d20+7[=27]
Sorry but anytime a character misses a climb check by 5 or more (even if they are just starting to climb) they fall. Since Alia can't catch herself (climb DC 35), she fell. As her starting position was the ground and not 10' up she didn't take damage. I tried to slip all that into the narrative....
Alia tries to Legolas her way up the tower wall, falls when a bit of thick bark and some stones underfoot give way. She is of course glad that no one saw. She gets back up and tries again next round. You can keep your second roll for next round if Alia is still planning on climbing.
So I just made (climbotted) the second roll [26] after you said she was climbing again. So she did get a double move that round, and is sitting pretty at 15' up when this round began. The tower wall and rail combined are about 23'-24' in total. So now she needs two successful climb checks. One:
[dice=

[dice=Climb]1d20+7=11 Of course. At least not 5 or more.
[dice=Climb]1d20+7=18
So one move (next round) and then, finally, next round she touches down.
More after lunch.

RPGGGM |

Serena waits with some impatience as Scarlet lifts her over the wall.
Serena, are you climbing down the palside (see link above), trying to fall softer (see below), or just falling (1d6 damage and auto prone)?
Falling When you deliberately fall any distance [this time it is 15'], even as a result of a missed jump, a DC 15 Acrobatics skill check allows you to ignore the first 10 feet fallen, although you still end up prone if you take damage from a fall. See Falling Damage for more details.

RPGGGM |

Meanwhile, in the darkness.
The unseen door closes again. Victoria's captor has returned.
"They're here! This is so exciting! I can claim that lovely she-elf's head, and dispense with making you my next temporary companion. Don't feel bad, I'm sure I will come up with some us for you. Heheh."
The voice begins incanting the spidery words of magic, alas without light Victoria cannot see his somatic motions to determine what the man is casting.

RPGGGM |

Outside
Durgan brains the advancing zombie with his axe, but it doesn't seem to slow it down very much.
The noise inside the fort grows as the roused bandits move about. There's a particularly loud bellowed curse from someone from beneath the floor Zokon is treading.
"ALL GOD'S BE DAMNED TO THE ABYSS! WHAT IS THE TROUBLE!?" roars the voice before becoming a low dangerous growl. "And this time there had better be 'trouble' or else a beatin' will be the least of it! Little boys need to take their medicine.... *BURP!*"

RPGGGM |

The zombie nearest Scarlet takes a flailing swing at her as she lifts Serena over the wall.

Victoria Velasco |

Victoria's head slumps down to her chest. In fact her whole body sags with the feeling of desperation. He knows who's coming, he's planned on it, and he's preparing for it. So much for a rescue.
I wish Arris were here.

Alia of the Blade |

I checked and missed a round there. I thought I only got a single climb action for two rounds in a row, but it was the same round. So round 2 move into position and try to climb(+fail, not prone no fall damage), round 3 climb(roll before)+climb(botted), round 4 climb+climb.
I had assumed under R1 move+climb(+fall, prone), R2 get up + climb once(use roll from before), R3 climb once(botted), R4 I still need to climb a lot. Apologies for misunderstanding. It just was slightly frustrating and I tried to understand what took me so long.

Illthir Winlowe |

Illthir tries to hype herself (and the others too) up by starting a war chant!
Inspire Rage

RPGGGM |

Serenabot cannot actually make the roll by herself so.
**CLATTER!** fall damage: 1d6 ⇒ 2
She stands up grateful for the concealing smoke and moves...
1d2 ⇒ 1 South!
The undead continue to hammer their fists upon the companions armor and shields.

The old man dives from the northwest tower and hits the ground cursing.

Nervously, the young man nocks another arrow.

Erevenywg |

"FAIRE!"
With a fierce Sylvan battlecry Erevenywg rushes out onto the battlefield with her tree branch! With both hands she brings it down smartly on the shoulder of one of the zombies accosting Scarlet.

Durgan Far-Walker |

Durgan hears the war-song and a memory from the Mendevian Crusade comes flooding back. Fighting alongside the Gorumite priest Kronug the Merciless... as he did in a battle or two back then, the normally staid and disciplined dwarf chooses to embrace the fury.
"RAAAGGH!"

Yes.

Scarlet Scarab |

"Wait, Erevenywg!" Scarlet gasps. "I gotta help her over, first!"
She hoists Illthir over the wall.
Scarlet points to the longsword she dropped.

Zokon Santyev |

Zokon will move up to within sword range of the young man "Drop the weapon and you live, if not I shall have to stop you harming my friends."
Intimidate: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (13) + 4 = 17

Alia of the Blade |

Climb: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (16) + 7 = 23
Alia finally makes it up, then moves to challenge the young man while drawing her blade "Drop your weap..."...a few moments pass as she looks from face to face with irritation: "Zokon, how did you manage to climb up so fast?"
Sure, have the stairs joke on me. That was an utterly stupid escapade - when there were no ladders or ropes, I figured they were only accessible from within the complex -_-

Zokon Santyev |

"I got lucky and found some steps up, I coulda been running all over the place." he replies

Illthir Winlowe |

"Wai-weeeeh!" Illthir cries out as she simultaneously realizes that inciting fury in allies meant all allies and that she was currently sailing trough the air. But there really wasn't much she could do about either except hope that it all turned out well. Say that bit of ground is approaching awfully quick ... The half-elf tried her best to recall how to properly execute a stage dive ...
Acrobatics DC 15: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (12) + 5 = 17
...And much to her relief she lands on her feet. She raises her hammer with a cheer and looks around to get her bearings.

Illthir Winlowe |

After brief deliberation she follows in the direction she saw Serena moved in.

Erevenywg |

"Wait, Erevenywg!" Scarlet gasps. "I gotta help her over, first!"
She hoists Illthir over the wall.
Scarlet points to the longsword she dropped.
Erevenywg stops short in her rage-filled zombie smacking and becomes instantly lucid. "Oh?" She drops her stick and reaches down for the sword. One of the zombies almost accidentally takes a swipe at her, missing as she leans over to pick it up.
blue slam v Erevenywg (AoO): 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (6) + 4 = 10 damage: 1d6 + 4 ⇒ (4) + 4 = 8
"This sword, Scar-lets-karab?" She looks it over curiously.
Cold Iron Masterwork Longsword (inspired): 1d20 + 6 + 1 ⇒ (17) + 6 + 1 = 24 damage: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (7) + 1 = 8
"Yes! It is a real belter!" she says nearly severing the creature's head from its shoulders.

RPGGGM |

Unhindered, the undead continue to hammer on Scarlet. The constant battering begins to wear on her.

THREAT!

"Yeah, take good care of the swo- AGH!" Scarlet coughs when the zombie slams into her. "Durgan, hurry up! I'm lifting her over." Scarlet reaches to pick Erevenywg up. "Stay with my friends, yeah?" And hoists her over the wall.
At least I don't have to worry about sheathing my sword.

Durgan Far-Walker |

Durgan continues mowing down zombies.
Attack (Blue), Inspire Courage, Rage, Deadly Juggernaut +2: 1d20 + 7 + 1 + 1 + 2 ⇒ (8) + 7 + 1 + 1 + 2 = 19

Assuming he drops Blue, he is now at DR 6/-.

Zokon Santyev |

"Stay where you are, I shall bind your hands and I shall come back for you later, fear not, you will be dealt with fairly and not killed."
Zokon quickly takes out his silk rope and binds the boys hands

Alia of the Blade |

"And this time, we mean it!", Alia nods to the boy, then takes off in the direction the old man was headed before.
Sheathing her Estoc, she pulls out her bow expecting more targets on the ground, stopping just short of the border, drawing a deep breath as she steels herself.
No point exposing myself there - I'll take a look next turn.

Illthir Winlowe |

"This way!" Illthir calls out very quickly for Erevenywg's benefit as she rounds the last tower and heads up the stairs. She wasn't sure how helpful it would be to have everyone up there; but it felt better then splitting up!

Byron Benzen |

"Stay where you are, I shall bind your hands and I shall come back for you later, fear not, you will be dealt with fairly and not killed."
Zokon quickly takes out his silk rope and binds the boys hands
"'Killed!?' Like Jex!?" the kid looks a bit hysterical. As Zokon pulls his rope out the lad jumps over the side. (AoO spiked gaunlet)
