Scarlet Scarab |

Scarlet sees the greenish abomination with its guard down. She decides to take advantage and attack.
Cold Iron Masterwork Longsword: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (8) + 8 = 16
2H Damage: 2d6 + 6 ⇒ (6, 1) + 6 = 13
Assuming she destroyed her target, she sees the yellowish zombie come free and rends it to shreds.
Cold Iron Masterwork Longsword: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (9) + 8 = 17
2H Damage: 2d6 + 6 ⇒ (6, 4) + 6 = 16
Otherwise Scarlet will continue on the green zombie.

Serena Mistcastle |

Serena continues her assault upon the yellow zombie (assuming that it isn't decimated by anyone first).
Serena vs. Yellow: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (20) + 6 = 26 Damage: 1d6 + 3 ⇒ (3) + 3 = 6
Serena Crit: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (12) + 6 = 18 Damage: 1d6 + 3 ⇒ (3) + 3 = 6 (+2 fire)

RPGGGM |

And the last couple of zombies go down in short order. More when I get home tonight.

RPGGGM |

Just as Scarlet brings her weapon down on the last creature there's a commotion from watch towers.
"What's going on over there, boy!" says a cruel male voice all the colder for its grizzled maturity.
"The hill-dead!" shrieks a much younger voice in obvious terror.
"Aye, they got somethin'? What is it? Animals don't usually come near the hillside." says a third.
"Keep it down you lot! You don't want to wake the boss." says their senior.
"No it's a bunch of people." says the youngest.
"Mutineers come for the booty?" says the third.
"No, I haven't seen these before. They're winning." says the boy.
"Maybe for now but the hill-dead will have 'em like they always do." says the older man.
"Maybe they're the mercenaries?" suggests the boy.
"Nah, They'd have been warned. Get your bows lads! Go for the legs the restless dead will finish 'em." says the eldest.
Alright, so now what's the plan?

RPGGGM |

The brigands react quickly! The eldest moves along a battlement to the southern tower. He looses a quick shot off at Illthir that sinks into the earth at her feet.
Meanwhile the bandit at the front gate begins sounding the alarm.
purple composite longbow v Illthir: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (9) + 6 = 15 damage: 1d8 + 2 ⇒ (8) + 2 = 10

Scarlet Scarab |

"Well, so long for stealth. Time for shock and awe." MegaScarlet grins.
She moves up to the wall How high is it? 15 feet or lower, I hope., drops her sword and readies herself to hoist someone over the wall.

Zokon Santyev |

"Alia, go run up to Scarlet and jump in her hands to get up close, i'll distract em..
Zokon drops his dagger, switches his bow into his good hand, uses studied target on the one that just fired and fires a return shot
comp longbow+st+pbs-deadly aim: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (5) + 10 = 15 damage: 1d8 + 9 ⇒ (4) + 9 = 13
cover dice: 1d100 ⇒ 26

Alia of the Blade |

How did I end up agreeing to this plan..., Alia thinks, before starting towards Scarlet, getting ready to be hoisted upwards.
Acrobatics(seems kinda important for the landing...: 1d20 + 13 ⇒ (13) + 13 = 26

Scarlet Scarab |

Do I need to make a roll to hoist Alia over? Here's a d20 if I do.
1d20 ⇒ 1
I hope I don't...

RPGGGM |

The fortifications provide the defenders with cover (+4 AC). At this point there's no miss chance beyond that.
Zokon's arrow thuds into the wall.
Do I need to make a roll to hoist Alia over? Here's a d20 if I do.
The walls are 15' The tower floors are at 20' with mostly-paneled railings. The fort looks like it was built with the same ascetic as the party's horse-raft.
I hope I don't...
"No! You don't push so haaaaaaard!!"
No, it is just a matter of lifting as heavy as Alia over your head.

Scarlet Scarab |

"Alright, first one over. I can't see you, sorry." Scarlet wraps her hands around someone and hoists them up and over the wall.

RPGGGM |

Alia drops lightly on the otherside of the fort's wall in narrow space between the outer walls and the ruined keep one of the walls of which spills out like a fat-man's stomach of their belt into the space to her north. Beyond it, under the legs of the skeletal tower she sees a pair of haggard horses.
Outside more grasping dead hands break the surface of the hill.

"But they've got some sort of troll with them!" cries the younger one.
"THEN SHOOT IT IN THE EYE!" retorts the elder.

Byron Benzen |

"Alright...." He takes his longbow and approaches the evolving scrum at the foot of his watch tower. Out from under the tower's roof in the moonlight there's something about the boy's face....
yellow composite longbow: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (17) + 3 = 20 damage: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (5) + 1 = 6
"I GOT IT!" he shouts as the arrow sinks into Scarlet's forearm.
"DON'T GET COCKY KID!" shouts the older man.

RPGGGM |

In the darkness somewhere near Victoria.
"What is it this time?" The unseen voice moves to the door and opens it cautiously. Victoria can image the figure peeking out. Still though there is no light.

Victoria Velasco |

I hope it's someone here to chop off your head. That thought makes her smile a little bit in the gloom. While the figure is distracted, she reaches out with her mind to see if she can contact her loyal fox, Arris. Perhaps he can give her some insight into what's happening outside.
he can only communicate emotions, but it might help a bit

Illthir Winlowe |

Illthir runs towards the palisade, partially because she wouldn't get shot at, and waits for her turn. As she does he holds her hammer ready and eyes the pair of zombies that seems to be approaching from the north!
Move to move, standard to ready attack if they come within range

Heaving us forward to the future!
Poshbot seeing that stealth is thing of the past (if it ever was a thing) begins a story about his one visit to Daggermark where it turns out he looks a lot like one of the children of the city's human officials. Needless to say there was a lot of confusion involving kidnappers, assassins, and the poisoner's guild resulting in hilarity. Inspire courage
And now that I remember it Alia probably is done considering her actions, position in the original initiative order, and the fact that last round was surprise.
The hill-dead get to their feet.

Zokon Santyev |

Zokon runs up to be hoisted up onto the wall

Illthir Winlowe |

Illthir lights her smokestick and flings it over the wall. They were noticed anyhow and maybe this would redirect some arrows.
Do we want an attack roll for this?

Scarlet Scarab |

"Up you go, Zokon." Scarlet hoists him over the wall. "Hurry up, I'm turning into a pincushion here!"
Durgan heals Scarlet's wounds. "Thanks for the help, I'm grabbing all the attention. I'll tear down some zombies once I'm done carrying ya."

Durgan Far-Walker |

"No, let ME handle the zombies - it will help me fight better!"
Every foe I drop, up to five, will give me +1 (cumulative) luck bonus to hit and damage and also DR 2/- (stackable).

Scarlet Scarab |

"Haha! I like your style. Besides, ugh-" Scarlet grunts as the crossbow bolt grazes her arm. "Besides I got some revenge to mete out."

RPGGGM |

Only if you are trying for somewhere not merely just north of Alia (like up at the archers or something).
"Up you go, Zokon." Scarlet hoists him over the wall.
Need an acrobatics check to drop the 15 feet, or a climb check to climb down the wall.

Illthir Winlowe |

General area on the other side of the wall is fine. The cloud is decently sized and hopefully enough to obscure us a little anyhow : )

Serena Mistcastle |

Serena slaps a CLW on Scarlet while waiting for her turn at going up and over.
Cure Light Wounds: 1d8 + 2 ⇒ (2) + 2 = 4

Zokon Santyev |

Zokon takes a tumble down and rolls back to his feet, rather gracefully it turns out.
Acro: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (19) + 10 = 29

Alia of the Blade |

Alia looks for a ladder and starts climbing up the Watchtower. Those archers needed to be stopped from firing. And fast, too, by the sound of Scarlets cursing.
With a knotted rope with a wall being DC 0, I think I can't fail an accelerated climb check on a ladder - but just in case:(Maybe it's only a knotted rope, no ladder, no wall)
Accelerated Climb: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (6) + 6 = 12
Ideally, Alia comes to rest next to the archers with a double-move and fast-climb.
Sunder his Bow: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (7) + 8 = 15 2d4 + 6 ⇒ (1, 3) + 6 = 10
"Careful, before someone gets hurt, boy. And consider your next action very carefully, old man - it may be your last if you choose poorly!"
Stab the man: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (20) + 8 = 28 Damage: 2d4 + 6 ⇒ (1, 1) + 6 = 8
Crit?: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (19) + 8 = 27 Damage: 2d4 + 6 ⇒ (1, 1) + 6 = 8
"They not only have a Troll, they also have Elven Wraithblades teleporting to your back. Yield or die, Boy!"
No combat reflexes, so either/or. I rolled a ton of 1's either way.

Sorry. No ropes. No ladders. There's some rough wooden walls to climb (DC 20, the south tower has an enclosed ground floor, unlike the one just to the north that the horses are half-stabling under). There is no obvious 'up' from the southwestern corner of the fort. The south and west sides are walled in creating a narrow alleyway running between the outer walls and the inner structure as far as can be seen.

Alia of the Blade |

Non-accelerated climb 1 DC 20: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (1) + 7 = 8
Non-accelerated climb 2 DC 20: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (20) + 7 = 27
In that case, I am not getting off the ground, then getting a good start. Are there walls to brace against(that is, a corner for the -5 DC) or are the towers freestanding with bridges above ground?

Illthir Winlowe |

Why not simply see if you can poke the load bearing things until the thing topples?
Somehow I doubt the bandits have engineering degrees :P

RPGGGM |

In that case, I am not getting off the ground, then getting a good start. Are there walls to brace against(that is, a corner for the -5 DC) or are the towers freestanding with bridges above ground?
The towers abut the ruined stone keep. The walkway looks to provide a sort of roofing/overhang to the parts of the structure beneath them. The tower Alia is scaling has a walled-in ground floor. She can use the the ruin's rubble pile to climb as if she were climbing a corner (DC 15).
Alia tries to Legolas her way up the tower wall, falls when a bit of thick bark and some stones underfoot give way. She is of course glad that no one saw. She gets back up and tries again next round. You can keep your second roll for next round if Alia is still planning on climbing.

RPGGGM |

The hill-dead advance! One of them charges forward hands groping for Zokon's throat (Wait! He's inside now.) Scarlet's thigh.

Scarlet frowns as the undead tries to dig into her and the arrow sails over her shoulder. She doesn't like being unarmed in the face of the enemy, but that was Durgan's job. And she has her job to do.
She hoists Serena up and over the hill. She points at Posh and Illthir. "Oi, hurry up."

Durgan Far-Walker |

Durgan charges forward and slashes at one of the undead (Green) with a two-handed axe swing.
Attack, Charge, IC: 1d20 + 7 + 2 + 1 ⇒ (7) + 7 + 2 + 1 = 17
Damage: 1d8 + 4 + 1 ⇒ (8) + 4 + 1 = 13
AC is 23 until next turn. If I dropped the zombie then I also get DR 2/-.
"I'll handle these ones!"
It is not a matter of pride, but a matter of powering up the Deadly Juggernaut spell. So please don't kill-steal on me at this time.
Edit: Thanks, Scarlet! Adjusted the numbers.

RPGGGM |

I think Poshbot began Inspire Courage last round.
Hebot did.

Zokon Santyev |

Zokon double moves around the inside walls looking for a way up onto the platforms
