Yeah I found it on my own. Luckily I was using the dnd tools version of the bladesinger. Bit that's cause I could tell the wiki version wasn't correct.

What i usuall do is. First check if it said homebrew. If not. I check with dndtools. Since they usually reference the book and page number

Tentatively thinking of a Kineticist, sand or fire focused. Apparently, according to Occult Origins, they are highly regarded in Osirion.

What I don't understand is why the wiki version was worse but had the same LA.

Also I tend to not use 3.5 material either so that's why I'm not too familiar with the correct sources

Point basis
Humanoid 0
Size Medium 0
Base Speed 30 RP
Ability Score Standard (+2 to to Dex, +2 Int, -2 Con)
Language Linguist 1 point
Advanced Dexterity 4 RP (+2 Dex)
Advanced Wisdom 4 RP +2 Wis
Elven Immunities 2 RP
Skill Bonus Perception +4 3
Skill Bonus Jump +4 3
Elven Magic 3 RP
Flight 50 ft Maneuverability Average 8 RP
Low Light Vision 1 RP
Weapon Familiarity 2 RP Lasso and Bolas replace bows, otherwise all the same as an elf

So 31 points, higher then a centaur. And I didn't notice the challenge adjustment table for races in the Advanced Race book, so I can easily make encounters tougher based on that as I need. Sure you can use it, if you get selected I'll just have to run that challenge table for the right encounters.

Ok. If it'll make it harder for the rest of the party though then I'd like to work with you on nerfing it if possible instead. I don't want a character getting killed because I wanted to do a race like this.

@Monkeygod Cool. The kineticist is an intriguing class, and there is a hybrid one from Rogue Genius or Super Genius games that combines monk and kineticist together called the Sifu. So now you can be the bender or the Street Fighter II master of ShoRyuKen.....

@Fearcypher I posted the stats for the avariel above. T

Oh and no need for any level penalties. Pathfinder just makes things harder for more powerful character races. It's been a while since I looked at the Advanced Race Guide. Also on pfsrd20 there is an archetype for magus called Singer of Blades. It's the 3rd party version of the bladesinger with some additional magus arcana that allow you to be all super bladesingery without the prestige class, which is pretty blah since you lose a lot of the features that make a magus awesome.
Just search for Singer of Blades on pfsrd20.com.

Yeah I saw the post. I was quoting it.

I like the Singer of Blades. It doesn't have all the class features of the Bladesinger but I can recreate them with Magus Arcana. Thanks for pointing it out. My google fu is terrible sometimes.

No worries. I had a guy play one but then he decided to multiclass with it, because he was all about the bow...

Mmmm... I do love Arcane Archers. Though I'm going to stay straight Magus with this character, even though I'll have good dex.

Nah this guy decided to take a bizzare amalgalm of ranger/scout/with bard equivalent spellcasting that was more focused on DPS and natural spells. Kind of like the hunter but no animal companion.

Still working on my character...having a hard time with the archetypes. I may have to build two different versions...

You have link to this sifu class stormcrow27?

Hmm I think 31 points is a CR 2 increase.
A Level 1 Aasimar is a CR 1/2 so a CR 2 is like a 3rd maybe 4th level PC.

1d6 ⇒ 5 (GP Roll)

I recommend if someone takes Chosen Child or Rich Parents.. someone pick up Endure Elements as a wand, the heat will be a killer

Note, the priests of Phasrama have some conditions to make sure bodies aren't destroyed or the tombs damaged, etc, since they're not happy with the pharaoh's decision. Nor are the ancient cults concerned with the afterlife like Osiris, Anubis, Nepeptyhs, and Isis happy either.

I was thinking my Fighter is Osirian in origin and worshiped the Osirian Pantheon (His family specifically worships Anubis) and was sent on this journey to Wati to help rid the Necropolis' area of any Undead after finishing his training/tour with the Osirian army.

Would this be appropriate at all? Or a burden for the game? If I did, I would be forced somewhat into "watchdoging" the players tom ake sure they didn't violate the "exploration" rules right?

No it wouldn't be a burden necessarily. Anubuis is the Guardian of the dead and hates tomb robbers, but since it is Pharoah's command and there are solutions in place to lessen the violation, then you could agree to it. The Osirian Pantheon also has a lot less power then it used to,so while they can control the fates of their worshippers and inflict divine punishment in Osirion, Phasrama's decree has prevented them from taking direct action, but their servants can still take initiative. So in short, you would enforce the decrees the priesthood puts down.

Recommendation: Acquire bullseye lanterns; put Everburning Torches in them. Instant flashlight! If I roll well enough, I will attempt to include it in my inventory.

Question: Are we supposed to track encumbrance and ammo usage? Or are we handwaving that like most home games I've played/heard of?

starting gold: 5d6 ⇒ (4, 4, 3, 2, 1) = 14

Edit: Guess I don't have enough for that flashlight. Someone should definitely get one, though. Several somebodies, if possible.

Good, that was my thought as well. Also makes it easy to join certain groups types too I think, since he has a good reason to enter the necropolis beyond personal greed.

Don't forget to drop the lowest and combine the result, and reroll 1s and 2s until you get 3 or higher for stat rolls. As for money, don't forget to times your result by 10 for your starting gold. I had a couple of players forget the last one and they tried to outfit themselves with 15 gp or less.

Heh. One of my favorite items is the ioun holder, where you attach an ioun stone to an item and the item orbits your head ready to be grasped. Ioun torches work great until you run into those nasty kobolds with nets or tanglefoot bags.

Whats the RP limit if you are considering a character with 31? I had some interesting ideas for the more wild races.

No magic items in the campaign where I learned that trick. According to the PHB (3.5), an Everburning Torch doesn't count as a magic item. the GM considered banning them anyway for about half a second, then decided it really didn't matter that much. But yes, a hands-free light source is better.

Introducing the Glove of Perpetual Flame. Turn it flame-side out, tuck into your belt or under some strap somewhere, and you've got yourself a hands-free light source. Don't need light? Turn it right-side out again and put it back on your hand!

Now you guys got me thinking of playing ranged character. Hawkguard warder/Aegis would probably be fairly versatile and accurate since we are using limited 3.5 feats and I could throw in knowledge devotion.....

Gonna make a sexy tanned dhampir(Vetala-Born) and have her be the party scout. Only thing is it will be impossible to find a good picture of a non-pale skinned vampiric woman that is also using a bow lol.

I think allowing a race with 31 RP is opening a pandora's box. Though from the first post it said:

Quote:

If you run one of the more high point races (30 points or more), you will have a 1 level deficit that you will have to overcome with XP. AKA buying ECL as they say.

Allowed 3rd party/3.5

Does that no longer apply?

I'm still thinking to go for a Ruby Knight Vindicator. The dieties you assigned to it seems quite fitting for Osirion. However I'm thinking I want to pick warlord rather than crusader (and the new knight disciple archtype from the fresh of the press path of war expanded for my paladin levels). How do you want to handle maneuvers required and learned for Ruby Knight Vindicator? I kinda want to use path of war maneuvers rather than the old Tome of Battle ones.

a) Stick with what's written. I have to find a way to learn Devoted Spirit Stuff with Initiators from pow. I'll only ever learn stuff from Devoted Spirit, Shadow Hand, Stone Dragon, or White Raven disciplines from Ruby Knight Vindicator.
b) I can use one of the path of war disciplines to qualify (Silver Crane? Eternal Garden?) I'll also get 3 other disciplines to learn from?

Obviously we don't actually have to answer this question into well into the game as it won't affect much before level 4-5, but I think it would still be nice to know so I'll know what to expect.

Just to be clear, we can pick 2 flaws and 2 drawbacks for a total of 3 feats (4 for humans) and 4 traits at level 1. Is that correct?

I'm going to knock down the avariel so it's about 1/2 that. Essentially if you get rid of the stat boosts/the higher skill boosts and keep flight you get a winged elf at 18 pts, which is what they pretty much intended for an avariel at the beginning. You still have 50 ft flight, but so does the strix.

The 1 ECL will for high end races, but no one has really submitted any 30 points or more other then the avariel. As for manuevers, let me look at what styles ruby knight Vindicators have access to and go from thwre.

I am gonna go check out Sandstorm for ideas

For the sifu, I can get a link or a PDF tomorrow.

.

How exactly will you be knocking down the race? I'm fine with losing the advanced stat mods and such. It's more for the concept of it than anything else. I just want to know because I want to finishb building this as soon as possible.

Rolling for gold: 5d6 ⇒ (2, 3, 2, 6, 4) = 17 Bah, below average. I won't be getting a nice armor, but at least it could be worse...

My hunter (scarab stalker) is also a ranged fighter - using a longbow.

I want to use a Asherati from Sandstorm, the Duneswimmers
You can find them on D&D tools, not sure if I am allowed to link there. Google Asherati D&D Tools.

But I really wish the Eagle's Claw was a monk weapon!. Eagle's Claw So sweet.

Gold: 5d6 ⇒ (4, 3, 5, 4, 3) = 19

190gp above average.

1d6 ⇒ 1....No

1d6 ⇒ 1...Wtf....

1d6 ⇒ 3 x10 = 30

gold: 4d6 ⇒ (6, 1, 5, 2) = 14

This is Zayne. Here is my Warder submission.

5d6 ⇒ (2, 6, 6, 2, 5) = 21
@GM
Are we going to work with the feat tax system?

If people want to know character builds.
My character will be a melee character. Charger.
Ride by attack + spirited charge. But she can stand and fight if room doesnt permit moving around a lot

We are gonna be in pyramids and this dude is trying to run around looking like sir Lancelot?

Maybe if it was a small character on a dog or something which is always hilarious....a dog or a pig mount.

I can try =^^=

I've played a charger in Risen from the Sands, it wasn't easy. Most of the time you won't have room to use your best abilities.

I'm having trouble deciding if I should make my character fight with a shield and weapon or with a two hander. There are some really cool shield bash things available. If eternal garden is required for Ruby Knight Vindicator I guess Vanguard Commander would give me access to that, which is nice.

Will see how it goes. Will still submit =^^=

This is Ariarh Kane's submission - a ranged character - an Elven Hunter (Scarab Stalker) with a viper companion. I still have to post her personality on the profile page and I may tinker with the character slightly before end of recruitment, but her stats etc are there to look over. Thank you for the consideration, stormcrow27. :)

They are taur creatures. =^^=
A felitaur if you must =^^=

Lots of pictures on the web.

If you want to play a Self-Charger look at the Lapith race, they are third party sure but they are interesting. Humanoids who can turn into centaur like form at will. Think of them as Skinwalkers who have a horse or whatever as their animal form.
