"Why does it have to be shadowdogs... hells why are they even here?"
He muttered as he charged forward and brought the halberd down hard on the first one he came across. He made sure to end in the light though.

Exxor |

Exxor will work at getting the bullseye lantern lit and after that, simply targeting Tram's opponents with the beam.
Not sure what role you might want for this, Aid another (even though it is not melee?) A ranged touch attack against the dog to spotlight them?
d20 Roll+BAB: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (9) + 5 = 14

Hippa |

Watching Miro's great reflexes as he shot an arrow... only to see it disintegrate before reaching one of the shadows, Hippa paused with her own en'gard posture with Grand Pappy's Boar Spear to set for a charge defense. What was she missing?

MiniGM |

Hippa knows that if these dogs are in shadow that they will become very hard to hit.
Meanwhile Tram, with the help of the light, keeping them from getting in shadow, slashes deep into the dog.
The dogs pounce on tram and he finds himself on his back with two sets of jaws tightly clamed on his legs.
prone and you take 13 damage

Hippa |

[Haruph]Exxor, Tram, Right behind you guys... Hippa recasts Light upon the crossbars of her boar spear and moves to a slight flanking position to keep the beastie lit whilst Exxor and Tram shield her.

Exxor |

Curse these things! Exxor tries to keep hold of his lantern and mace and keep the light on the shadow beast. Trying to swat it with the mace seems futile.
Prone Attack: 1d20 + 5 - 4 ⇒ (7) + 5 - 4 = 8
I hope I don't turn into some sort of shadowy werewolf thingy!

I frickn hate shadowdawgs. Hippa 5' moves to flank.

He rose and moved to get closer to the dog on Exxor.
"I can see why you are a cat person Hippa."
He began preparing to attack the other dog.

Move action to stand up, standard action to close with the dog attacking Exxor Sorry was sick as the proverbial dog all weekend

"Get off him!"
He growled at the shadow dog shifting his grip on the haft of his halberd and swinging hard horizontially across.

I dont think a 15 confirms but if it does total damage is 46

Hippa |

Hippa's Light-spelled boar spear hangs in mid air, poised for the killing jab. Eh. Gonna take credit anyway... She finishes with her action and takes a victorious pose similar to the portrait downstairs. Truly another epic chapter in my storied prowess.
Pausing for appreciation, Now lets get down to business. What exactly were these shadow dogs guarding?

MiniGM |

Miro doesn't find that but he does find an odd Teddy Bear slumped in the corner.
Additionally, there are several other suits of armor all about. As it gets examined it becomes apparent that the plate armor on the knight is magical, and on the wall there are two pieces of armor in cases, with plaques identifying them.
Dawnhunter: This red-and-gold
breastplate is crafted and painted to look as if it had been
carved from stone. It belonged to Commander Helmrunner
of the Ever-Advancing Legion, said to have been one of
the dwarven commanders to lead an army to the surface
during the Quest for Sky so long ago. It is obviously magical
OYori armor. From the far away lands of Tien. While this appears to be a normal Masterwork armor there is something about the design of the inking.

Sir barksalot as a noble canine knight would pity the choices of his shadowey cousins in trying to nom the nice half elf Exxor. He would be glad their deaths were quick and painless :P
"You are color blind... thats clearly gold."
He muttered tentively reaching out and running his hands along the armor, first the red and gold breastplate, then the strange tien armor. He remembered the silly books he had read of a child of knights and heros wearing armor like this bestng evil foes and dragons...Even the more straight forward and morbid stories of powerful hellknights marching and crushing the enemies of Cheliax in such plate.
"Do you think this stuff has any sort of wierd curse attached to it or anything?"
He asked next his voice holding clear excitement.
Am I correct that there are three sets of armor? The magical plate, the dwarven lords breastplate, and then the tien armor?

Exxor |

Exxor breathes a deep sigh of relief as th dog is dispatched and just rests for a moment before rejoining the others.
Tram is right, that is a beautiful golden pattern. Could you (Tram) wear any of these? Should we take these on the way out?

"All of them technically, though that tien armor more looks like a fancy chain shirt. As for taking them, I dont think the long gone pathfinders that built this place would mind us borrowing them to save the city. How do you think Miss Tarvi will react to a knight walking back into the old base?"
He began moving towards the plate mail.
