Based on the description... The animal serves the character who drew it from the bag for 10 minutes (or until slain or ordered back into the bag), at which point it disappears. It can follow any of the commands described in the Handle Animal skill.... I thought it would obey any command given in the handle animal skill description sans roll...
do we need to make handle animal checks - and is there a danger that the creature attacks us... the animal serves the character who drew it from the bag.... with a fine Chianti and farva beans....
If that is how you are ruling it; I am fine with it, just want to set expectations up front.

The lion races off
Our heroes follow and pass through and old, now decrepit kitchen, which a magically locked door that they just have no hope of opening., they pass through and wind up in a room with
Dozens of pillars support a wooden terrace that surrounds a
weed-choked inner courtyard. Underneath the terrace, a variety
of weapon racks rest against an outer stone wall, protected from
the outdoor weather. In the center of the open courtyard sits a
raised dais composed of a mysterious blue metal. The strange
circular stage is fifty feet across. Above, a wooden walkway
hangs suspended at a height of thirty feet, connecting the
southern and northern upper floors of the lodge in a perilouslooking
route.

Slowly, and for him rather carefully the nobleman walked the perimeter of the place trying to keep his eyes out for any would be danger while his friends investigated.
"Why is this place so strange?"
He asked aloud though his question wasnt really directed at anyone.

What? What did they take, was it anything important? Where did this occur - perhaps the room with the skeletal beast has some sort of animating magic on it? Exxor looks at Miro, I don't really want to waste our time chasing after toys, but yes, I think we should at least see if we can locate them, or where they ran off to...what do you think guys? Exxor looks to Hippa and Tram.

"I think if toys and dolls came to life in your pack and took things we certainly need to find them and well destroy them if need by. Animated toys dont sound safe."

With a frown he moved forward poking at the strange metal dais with his halberd.
"Does anyone have any clue about any of this? Keep an eye out for those dolls by the way."
He added carefully doing his best to investigate the metal dais withough being completely focused on it.

Exxor will move across the dais to where Tram is poking at it, he looks around, scanning the dais and walkways for any signs of trouble, including animated dolls.
I'll keep watch it you want to poke around this thing.
Perception: 1d20 + 15 ⇒ (15) + 15 = 30

Should it have vanished so quickly? Is there something mean enough out here to take care of that beast without our knowing? I don't think Tram can take another such thing. And I would n't live long enough to regret standing so close to him if it pops up now....

Exxor waves his hand in front of his face and tries to grasp the meaning.
Tram...? We need to go after him, but I would like to know that you are still here. And I am a little worried about what happens when we step off the dais again. Exxor pauses and waits for a reply, as he does, he removes a crossbow bolt from his quiver and tosses it off the edge of the dais in the hopes that it appears on the ground.
