Welcome "Little" Josi, Bok, Yanick and Garra! You will be my Lords of Light!
Here is some more background to get your mood set before we start:
You are all part of the Gul'Farom tribe, living in the 'hamlet' sized location also know as Gul'Farom. There are about 60 people who live in the tribal area. Goods for sale are limited, but everything a Kellid could need to survive can be found in the valley. Life in the valley is tough, but good. Gul'Farom prizes strength and victory in battle. They are some of the strongest warriors in any of the 4 tribes. Elder Kora'Mol has chosen Marigara to represent Gul'Farom in the upcoming Trials. Marigara is big and powerful and loud. He is very close to the ideal of what it means to be Gul'Farom and has been since he was old enough to walk. It's no wonder that Kora'Mol treats him as his own son. Josi and Bok both mentioned 'teasing' or otherwise being picked on or bullied, Marigara would be one of the main instigators of this kind of behavior. Not exactly in a cruel way, but there is a pecking order and he's at the top, so he makes sure those at the bottom know it. He has friends he is close with, Kartos and Feldryn. Yanick and Garra are both students of the tribal Bloodspeaker Toka, along with another druid female named Nox.
Any other specific questions or thoughts before we get started I can answer?

First I will say that I'm slightly worried about Yanick. There was no response to the minor edits I needed for the character, and he hasn't posted anything else for almost a week. We've got a few days to play with I think though before we get officially started etc. If you guys are ok with trying to play with 3 PCs I can do that, or if you'd like a fourth I'll try and solicit another PCs to join the ranks. Or I could NPC Yanick as submitted. There was more expressed interest than submitted characters sadly.
Second I've linked out the map of the Vixis in the campaign information so it should be at the top always. You can access it here as well: Vixis Valley Hex Map if you want to bookmark it etc. The scale of the map is 6 miles per hex. You will be able to reasonably travel 3 hexes a day. I plan on using random encounters while traveling. The location of the Ritual of Stardust is well known to you all, you've been to the twice yearly celebration many times. This time, because of the Trial of the Lightbringer, however, it will be the largest and most well attended Ritual in your lifetimes.
Third, because of the size of the tribe (about 60-70 people) you all pretty much know each other in some fashion already. You are all within a year of each other age wise and would have grown up knowing about each other. Any deeper/direct connections you guys want to make between yourselves I'm game for. You are all aware of the legends of the Witch of the Shiftless Mire, who is said to live in the swampy area south of Dewar. The legends say there is a witch who lives there and steals children from Dewar's tribe under the waining moon every few years. One such child was rescued, by chance, a few years ago by Feldryn and returned safely to the Dewar tribe. Feldryn is a bit of a loner, and being a follower of Desna he's spent a fair bit of time in the Dewar tribe with Elder G'Vada.

Hi Mark sorry I have been unwell for a few days, I have joined in the combat now. The only thing I could see that wasn't on my character was my patron, but that doesnt come in to play until 2nd level.
If there are any other errors please let me know, This will be my first online game like this so I have much to learn :-)

Hello Yanick, good to hear from you! Sorry you've been unwell...that's the worst.
If you want, under the message box you type in is a 'How to format your text' button you can click on and it will show you some examples. Play around here in the discussion thread if you want to practice, no worries!
As for your character...please re-read this post from the recruitment thread. I went ahead and guessed on a few things to make it a viable NPC. I do all my stuff in HeroLab so those were the things it was complaining about missing :)
Welcome! I hope you have fun with your first pbp, this is my first one as a GM!

ok, I have updated everything except for potions and scrolls, will have a good look at how much money I have. My main idea was to just have cure light wounds scrolls and potions for us to use incase we get badly hurt. I have a +6 initiative bonus now as well from traits and familiar. Many thanks.

@Tane - no worries about being out of town. I've got mixed feelings about doing it this way, but I don't mine.
For example, in the puzzle round none of the players made their own rolls. At an actual table this would never happen, but as I've run through this challenge it just seems to make more sense to virtually roll as many dice as possible to not hold up rounds of action for a long time. I hope it's not ruffling any feathers and if you guys would like to get back to something more...interactive I'm game for that as well. From a story standpoint things are going well though with 2 Gul'Farom PCs in the final, Irog's champion and the stand in NPC/PC from Tekar making it!

I'm going to move the combat maps portion over to something that is a little more...interactive. I've been using it for some other things as a player and a GM and it's been very nice.
Sign in and join the campaign! For my sanity after you join the game and see the open field map with the tokens on it, go to 'My Settings' (Gear Icon on the far right upper corner), under 'Display Name' change it to your character's name and hit 'Save Name.' Once we are set there we can get to the fight!
Thanks!
