My apologies, I was not looking at the pic when I made my comment about spilling over the cauldron. Is it truly as large as depicted?


No worries, yes it is indeed large enough to have a large body within it.

Beorn goes over to the cauldron and puts a foot on it intending to tip it over. It does not even move. Part of the face of the glowing skeleton head is gone, the missing part is about as twice apart as Beorn's foot width.

Beorn gains a hunch that “something’s there” but can’t see it or target it accurately with an attack. You can shoot the light and see if you hit...

The liquid in the cauldron continues to bubble and swish around. You can't see it easily but you can hear it. It almost sounds like something is within it.

Flouncy vs. Spell Reistance of 17: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (1) + 7 = 8

Rouqar tries to recover or at least not make his condition worsen. Flouncy Magoo the invisible caster makes a few special words and you see a ball of acid being thrown at the gitter covered target. The ball hits but the devil does not reel back in pain. Beorn shoots at the figure and it dodges the arrows, the first cluster seems to get close but are deflected likely from a spell or the armor.

The devil finishes up a few more runes before dropping the dagger which looks like it lands blade first into the ground.

The dog barely misses but giving Reina flanking allows him to strike it. The figure moans out in pleasure, "Yes more, MORE!!!"

Total defense AC26. Everyone remember the Bless and Prayer are different bonuses and do stack, so +2 to hit and +1 damage, and the prayer affects the enemy with equal minuses.

Renia and Orchen take down the devil. Its body tearing from their attacks. All the chains fall limp as the effect is cut as the Devil is slain.

Out of combat. Apparently I need to up the ante...
