in a couple of levels Rai is going to develop his own tumor familiar which is going to be a mini Ike. A mini blob who can shape shift into different familiars. So be prepared for homage.

alright, Accountant Diceros has sold a few weapons & shields we found that we weren't using, claimed our completed tasks and rewards, reticulated some splines, and came up with:
740 gp each from our last adventure!
plus, 166 gp each store credit at Olegs!
(these have been updated in the spreadsheet, so your money tally is accurate)
IF we buy a few more things, Oleg could afford to buy other stuff from us (he's limited to 500gp on hand)...so you might get a little more as we go.

is anybody going to use the following:
-scroll of fly (I think Arlen saving it?)
-wand of magic missles
-wand of burning hands
-the spellbook we found ?
If no on the spellbook, can someone appraise it or somehow figure out how much it is worth?

I'll plan on a GM purge before you leave Oleg's which involves me sticking things in people's inventory randomly to make sure the loot is all claimed.

I took care of most of the loot pile. Once Rai actually gives Oleg his money, we can sell another 546gp of items we don't want. I'll update that if/when I see that Rai has updated his inventory and gold.
That will leave us with the wands, which cost a good amount and we'll probably cash them in another time.
**Arlen, I don't have quite enough money to give you 1000gp for a headband of wisdom. Do you want to start crafting it and I'll owe you 200gp, or are you starting with something else?

I guess I don't have any record of you getting that money. I wrote "claim it now" on July 10 but if you were on the cruise on July 10 then there is a good chance it was never claimed.

if you want the boots have the boots. Flavor is just as important as anything else! I once had a magical sword on a character that the wizard gave to him. He was a pretty dumb fighter always forgetting things. So the wizard told me from now on he was going to call me I-OWE-A Sword, which got shortened to Iowa Sword. Which became my characters name for his whole career.
In another campaign that was very magic low, my rogue found a dagger that was cursed so that every time he drew it, it screamed. Hard for a sneaky guy to use. Until a few levels later when I put all my skill points into bluff and intimidate and the GM was both chagrined surprised and after that impressed that I used the screaming dagger to scare the hell out of monsters and people.
Look at my magical dagger, it is very powerful and sentient and will kill you! Bwa ha ha ha!

Anyone here not familiar with Discord? I am contemplating the possibility of moving our game to that system. I am wondering what you all think. It can do dice rolls, I've never seen it down or slow, and it is very searchable. Con: It isn't as pretty as this website.
Another con: it can only handle one dice roll at a time. That would be a bigger deal for me than you. Also: No spoiler system.
Yes I'm on discord. I could see using it as a back-up site as it doesn't have the features but then we could still at least talk to each other and keep a combat going while the site was fixed.

I'd be fine either way! I mostly would miss the status lines and the multiple dice rolls. But I wouldn't miss posts getting eaten for too much editing!
Yeah multiple dice rolls seem to not work. The status line...maybe we can figure out a workaround. Like a pinned post maybe. I'll send a link later and we can figure it out

As for Discord... I really do need to get more use out of it, so I'll adapt to anything!

I'd miss the status line too. As well as the ability to differentiate between in-character and out-of-character text in normal posts. We can (and probably should) make a separate channel for Discussion, like here, but the ability to have one-liners in the regular posts is nice. Although I suppose we could post it in italics or something like that.
The multiple dice roll issue doesn't bother me as much. I think it'd really only come into play if more than one person was posting at once, interrupting each other. If I'm making 4 posts in a row, they'll show up like one big one from me.
As to your spoiler point, Paul, I think there's a bot for that.
Ok, let's at least try it out-- but I want to do it right, which means I want to transfer our entire gameplay posts to it before we start. I think the pros greatly outweigh the cons... we'll see. I am really looking forward to searching and not having everything divided into pages which is a regular problem for me.
The spoiler bots I've seen don't work with the dice bot... so... Instead I just am creating a seperate GM Screen channel where I will put all my rolls, and you are welcome to look at it or not.
There are ways to format the text to get bold, italics, and ooc.
I've created a channel for the quick stats line... and then everyone should still keep their official paizo.com alias as the permanent record, and link to it...
If you don't have discord on your computer, a simple google search will bring you to the download. There are also apps for mobile.
