Hey folks, I *am* back from my trip but between returning to work and the site being wonky it's been a challenge to get to the boards and catch up on my games. Things seem more stable now though so hopefully I'll be able to completely catch up on this game when I get home from work tomorrow evening :)

Happy 4th of July to my fellow Americans, happy Tuesday to the rest of the world! And remember kids, it's not a proper rendition of the 1812 Overture unless it has cannons!

Just don't aim for its head. Your spells do just as well targetting the bottom of him.

Sorry about the late notice.
I'm traveling for work through the rest of the month. I'll have my phone but I don't expect to have a lot of time to post. Please don't wait on me and feel free to NPC me as necessary.

I have returned! Korea was very warm and humid but I endured.
Thank you for your patience.

Hey Vala, there's a Ruins of Azlant recruitment up where the GM is allowing grippli applicants.
And welcome back Vermundr! :D

Pfft.... gimmick..... <grumblegrumble>
Side question; are there Gripplis in Starfinder?
Hazel Stokes |
^I'm not sure if it's been said for certain, but I'd imagine that gripplis and most other races still exist in Starfinder. Now for Starfinder Society all of the Pathfinder 'core' races besides humans exist but aren't available as PC choices at this time; apparently they'll filter their way into the campaign as boons at some point in the future.
I'd love to play in a Ruins of Azlant game but there's just not enough time, man! Also one of my other GMs indicated that they're going to run The Blight once they finish up some other modules that they're running and even though I really shouldn't I might apply because it's horror and I like horror.
Clearly I need to win the lotto so I can stay home and do PbP all day long...

Oh sure, I'd love to give them all a try if I had the time though there are definitely some APs that I'm more interested in than others. I guess of the ones that I'm currently not playing in, I'd like to play in (in no particular order): Hell's Rebels, Curse of the Crimson Throne, Reign of Winter, Skull & Shackles, Iron Gods, and Wrath of the Righteous the most. (Though I've played part of Wrath IRL and I love the premise but LOLMYTHIC if you play it as-is).
And you're right, I don't see as may APs recruiting in general lately. Mostly it's been homebrew or 3rd party stuff that I've seen.

@Constantin - My ramblings weren't an attempt to try and goad/persuade anyone to run additional games and I hope it didn't come across that way! I just like to talk Pathfinder stuff and I like talking about the different APs that sound cool :)
Besides, I think at this point I'd be the one 'owing' folks a game! Maybe when/if some of my current ones ever wrap up...
@Glenn - I <3 U.

^It could be. Most of the GMs that seem to stick the landing (aka start up a game and stick around the forums) seem to each run at least one or two games, sometimes more. Right now I'm still starting small with PFS scenarios but as I get more comfortable I might branch out into running modules, depending on how much time I have. I don't see myself running an AP anytime soon though, not unless a bunch of my current games end or I drop them.

I'm running five games; I really only wanted to run three (which I think is about my limit). There was a big rush for a Wrath of the Righteous game, and after recruitment ended I took the people who didn't make it and made a spin-off linked game where they are survivors in Kenabres after the disaster, trying to fight off demons and rebuild part of the city. Then the DM running the main game vanished and I wound up picking up that, too, so now I'm pretty stretched thin. :/
I've started getting to the point where I expect most new recruitments to die and I get more excited about finding a spot in existing games that have been going for a while.

This is exactly where I've been. I basically go for openings in existing games that have some semblance of longevity.

By the way folks, my posting *might* be a little slower than usual for the next couple of months as PbP Gameday VI kicks off this Friday and I'll be running a PFS scenario for each session as well as playing in a few games. Since those games will be on something of a timer, I'll be giving them higher posting priority until we're done - especially the games I'll be GMing. So while there shouldn't be a true interruption of service on my end, it might be a little slower here and there :)
Buuuuut since we're right at the end of Book 2, I'll do my best to make sure I get my posts in in as timely a manner as possible so as not to hold up the action!
GM-JZ |
Hey no worries Hazel. We're maintaining a good pace here so I don't think it will affect things greatly if your posting slows.
Having said that, I love you being part of this game and even if you don't feel up to a huge wordy post one evening, try to just pop something down or even in discussion so I know you're still around and engaged :)

When I saw that Vrood forecaged himself, I thought I had you for a second, JZ. I was all ready to heaven's leap Bland/Addam into the cage with him, but then I realized with dismay that, as a golem, our bound up buddy, as unique and special as he is, is probably still immune to magic.
