I'd like to snag a headband of inspired wisdom +2 and a cloak of resistance +1 for grieving Vala.

Kaz will pick up an ring of protection+1 as well.

It's nice to have actual money lol

That should shore up Zed's survivability a fair bit.

Wow I didn't even check Zed's gear. I already have literally all of that.

And that should eat up most of Hazel's money - if the GM allows all of those things to be found/occur, of course :)

I wish I had something helpful for you, Zed, but those choices seem like picking between 6 doughnuts and half a dozen doughnuts. Hitting things and hitting them harder than before is good. Not getting hit and not failing saves is also good.

Do you image Zed to be more defensively minded or more aggressive? Have recent events with Vrood and the Whispering Way steered him toward one mind set over the other?

Seems to me like your saves are already pretty good but Vala has a point - is Zed developing a more defensive or offensive mindset? As you can see, Hazel's largely opting for defensive things (improved armor & shield, items that prevent <X> from happening).

I mean regardless of the choice now I will choose to get the opposite the next time we have adequate loot. The question is: in the immediate future will offense or defense serve?

I suppose the answer is defense for now. Plus belts are common, perhaps we will come by one.

That's ok Constantin, I'm home-brewing a bunch of knockout rules which mean if you die you don't really die but are stable but staggered and sickened on half your max non-lethal hp total with a chance of also being confused for a number of rounds determined by a d100 roll depending on how deep into negatives you went.

It'll really streamline things.

I tried to adjust myself on the map as best as I could to account for Vala moving me around and then my owe movements thereafter :)

Pretty good thank you Hazel. Went to the football (i.e. soccer) this weekend, total waste of time, my team are utterly useless. That put me in a pretty bad mood for a while lol.

But then we got a good few hours in on Gloomhaven on Sunday so that made up for it :)

I spent all weekend working but that's okay, after Friday I'll have five days off! \o/

Yikes! That's a shame, but I don't really get much chance to play board/card games anyway so I guess it's not the end of the world.

Yeah that's fair enough. My other half is not interested in pathfinder at all, but she likes boardgames so we have a pretty massive collection and we try to have a weekly game day

^ Mine likes Pathfinder and board games, as does the rest of my gaming group, but when we can get together Pathfinder almost always wins out. I think that's why I enjoyed what little board/card gaming I got to do when I went to DieCon back in June :)

On a totally different note, for those that enjoy horror or stuff put out by Frog God Games, this recruitment for The Blight might be of interest. GM Zed is one of my favorite GMs on the boards and so I know that whoever gets selected will have a grand time of it!

(And yeah, I did submit a character because I'm apparently a glutton for punishment.)
