The Girallon, as best as I can figure it, has an AC, right now as it is blinded, of 13, and it has cover from your ranged attack, so that improves its AC by +4
So, AC 17?

Experience Point Awards
Okay here are the Experience Point Awards
CR 6 Monster = Girallon 2400 xp
CR 6 Group of Monkeys, 2400 xp
CR 5 Group of Monkeys 1600 xp
Total = 6400 xp divided by 5 (player characters) = 1280 experience points each
There is still a CR 6 encounter (ahead?) and that is the chamber with the treasure (and we haven’t established the value of that treasure yet!)
Recovering Drunkard/ 5th Level Nacho Proficienato / Muchacho's MMA 2 | HP 59/59 +0/0 Temp | AC19 T11 FF16 | CMB+5 CMD +16 | Melee +7 Rng +6 | Dorn +8 | Channeling 5/5
Ballar takes out a couple sparkly dice from his pocket, Big money! Big money! No Wammies!
Treasure!: 1d20 ⇒ 9
More Treasure!: 1d20 ⇒ 17
Secret Stash?: 1d20 ⇒ 4
Don't have access to my other computer right now and dropbox is code 404 so not sure what the results mean but here are some rolls :P
male
uh oh, looks like I lost the document, I'll get on that in just a bit here.
Edit: Fixed, will check the revision as soon as I can to make sure it is the correct one. Treasure table should be the same even if it is an older revision.

Thanks for the fix Terquem! I didn't have the old list on this computer - other one is in the shop :( But have a copy now!
Scrolled back a bit and it looks like the rolls should be for the CR6 encounter, right?
First roll determines the table. Rolled a 9 = Table 2
Second roll should be 1d100 Table 2: 1d100 ⇒ 26 which is a Humanoid, monster – single (I'll let you figure that out.)
For treasure the next d20 was 17. On Table IX 17 = 100 gpv per Character (x APL) + Magic Item
Next roll is what the treasure is contained in. That was a 4 = bags
Now, rolling for Magical Item Category: 1d20 ⇒ 5 or a minor item.
Minor Item: 1d100 ⇒ 40 which is a potion.
What kind of potion?: 1d20 ⇒ 17 A Minor Potion of Invulnerability.
How'd I do?
male
excellent, so that means bags with 2000 gpv of coins, let me see how many copper pieces is that....
and that's a special potion of my own creation (modified from an old 1e potion)

Really sorry to have to postpone things again, but work is not letting up and I am out of town again from Friday to Sunday. (I did have one whole night at home this week.) :P
Things should be back to normal for me starting Monday. Again, my apologies.
male
Ballar,
I think we already established that the chamber ahead has a CR 6 encounter with a Group of Humanoid Monsters , so I'm sticking with that (since I've had them worked up and waiting in the wings for the monkeys to get finished, or in this case finished off
male
Teirist - don't forget to add your Magic Goggles to your profile!

Shooting for a full update today with a new map, if the weather doesn't kill me, or drive me back under the blankets!

I highly suggest going under the blanket. Some laptops give out a lot of heat, and can really warm you up as you make your update.

Thanksgiving is just about a week away and I know it is a time here in the U.S. when many people spend happy times (and sometimes not so happy times, haha) with their extended families. I am off work all next week and will try to keep all my games up dated, but I expect everyone here in the U.S. will be a bit busier than normal.
male
Keryth - Only the Sorcerer Bugbear remains, and even though I updated my map last night, it seems I neglected to upload that new map to DropBox, so, sorry about that. Your initiative would be "6" now, going just ahead of the Sorcerer, and that 19 appears to be a typo I missed, thanks for catching that!
male
Each character receives 600 experience points for defeating the Bugbears
and then there is another 400 experience points each for the treasure (which has yet to be identified, by the characters I mean, but we already know it is worth 2,000 gp, is contained in bags, and also has a Potion!

Billy - Table V. C. - Chamber or Room Number of Exits (d20)
Table V. C. 1. Chamber or Room Exit Location (d20)
Table V. C. 2. Chamber Exit Type (d20)
M Human Ranger 4 | HP: 45/46 | AC: 17, T: 13, FF: 14 | Fort: +6, Ref: +7, Will: +3 | Melee: +6, Ranged: +7 | BAB: +4, CMB: +6, CMD: 19 | Init: +5, Intuition: +2, Perception: +10
Ok, let's try this:
VC: 1d20 ⇒ 12 (2 exits)
VC1A: 1d20 ⇒ 13 VC2A: 1d20 ⇒ 18
VC1B: 1d20 ⇒ 9 VC2B: 1d20 ⇒ 20
Er, both on the left wall, both doors?
male
So let's say that this is the Chamber you are still in, okay. There are two Doors, equally spaced, on the east wall (the direction is always based upon the character facing into the room or chamber they just entered). You can now roll to see what kind's of doors they are, and if they are trapped or locked
M Human Ranger 4 | HP: 45/46 | AC: 17, T: 13, FF: 14 | Fort: +6, Ref: +7, Will: +3 | Melee: +6, Ranged: +7 | BAB: +4, CMB: +6, CMD: 19 | Init: +5, Intuition: +2, Perception: +10
We need a program, or a spreadsheet, that does these things...
Door A
Type: 1d20 ⇒ 16
Lock: 1d20 ⇒ 8
Trap: 1d20 ⇒ 3
Door B
Type: 1d20 ⇒ 20
Lock: 1d20 ⇒ 18
Trap: 1d20 ⇒ 14
Door A: Good wooden, locked and trapped
Door B: Simple wooden, unlocked and untrapped
male
where is the fun in having a machine do that? JK, there is a document linked at the top of each of these game thread pages that explains the entire process, if you haven't looked at it yet. it's called
Appendix "A"
and you can download that copy and play around with it if you like, I'm always open for suggestions.
Maybe Jim can code a helpful for us, hint, hint...
male
Lock DC?
Dat Lock?: 1d20 ⇒ 7 = DC 33!
Trap CR
Dat Trap: 1d20 ⇒ 4 = CR 7 Trap (+2 to the DC to find the trap, non-magical)
male
wow, I need to update that map!
Male Elf "Butcher" 4 | HP 35/35 | AC 18 | T 14 | FF 14 | CMD 19 | Fort +2 | Ref +8 | Will +2 | Init +4 | Perc +10 | Sense Motive +7
FYI that lock is a DC 33, I need a 13 to hit the DC.
The trap is +3 CR to our level. That's not fun. I have a +12 bonus to traps. While I get a free roll by the DM, I am not sure we aren't a bit too deep in the dungeon. I know we came down to this level for more xp, but these traps ain't no joke.
male
Jim, taking 20, defeated the lock, which triggered the trap, so right now, the door is ready to be opened, and a Frostfang trap, according to the PRD, does not reset.
Okay, or did I screw everything up again?
M Human Ranger 4 | HP: 45/46 | AC: 17, T: 13, FF: 14 | Fort: +6, Ref: +7, Will: +3 | Melee: +6, Ranged: +7 | BAB: +4, CMB: +6, CMD: 19 | Init: +5, Intuition: +2, Perception: +10
Did we make level? Level 5 is big since we can get level 3 spells. If we made level, it may be worth heading back up and do some handwavery training.
male
I suppose, though it pains me to do so, award experience points to the characters for taking a shower, *sheesh* what is this world coming to anyway...
CR 7 trap = 3200 xp (normally) /5 player characters = 800 experience points for each Character.
800 experience points is awarded to each Character
Teirist, I can't find your current xp total on your alias, where should I be looking?
M Human Ranger 4 | HP: 45/46 | AC: 17, T: 13, FF: 14 | Fort: +6, Ref: +7, Will: +3 | Melee: +6, Ranged: +7 | BAB: +4, CMB: +6, CMD: 19 | Init: +5, Intuition: +2, Perception: +10
If I have to guess, it's that number by Location.
Recovering Drunkard/ 5th Level Nacho Proficienato / Muchacho's MMA 2 | HP 59/59 +0/0 Temp | AC19 T11 FF16 | CMB+5 CMD +16 | Melee +7 Rng +6 | Dorn +8 | Channeling 5/5
My total is 9155. Hope this jives.
Male Elf "Butcher" 4 | HP 35/35 | AC 18 | T 14 | FF 14 | CMD 19 | Fort +2 | Ref +8 | Will +2 | Init +4 | Perc +10 | Sense Motive +7
Uh..yes normally it would be, if Teirist's player wasn't a forgetful old man and forgot. So. Let me update the 800 exp on Hero Lab and give you the total.
Um, I have 8155, not 9155. So..i guess we best play what's my EXP.
male
Well, I hope everyone has their experience point totals figured out (Teirist did you count the 1000 points awarded a few post above, for Bugbears and Treasure?)
And now you have a plan?
M Human Ranger 4 | HP: 45/46 | AC: 17, T: 13, FF: 14 | Fort: +6, Ref: +7, Will: +3 | Melee: +6, Ranged: +7 | BAB: +4, CMB: +6, CMD: 19 | Init: +5, Intuition: +2, Perception: +10
We...go back to the door that lead to our shower? That's Billy's mental vote, which of course wins by virtue of being the only vote unless someone else speaks up.
Woah, I already have a spell prepared. I can't wait to see when I'll try that Gravity Bow. May swap it out though, it seems more fun to shoot an arrow(or two) than to wait a turn before shooting an arrow(or two)...even if it's heavier arrows.
male
If no one objects, Billy, you can throw a d20, to determine what is on the other side of that door.
Male Elf "Butcher" 4 | HP 35/35 | AC 18 | T 14 | FF 14 | CMD 19 | Fort +2 | Ref +8 | Will +2 | Init +4 | Perc +10 | Sense Motive +7
That would explain it. 9155 is the current experience for everyone.
M Human Ranger 4 | HP: 45/46 | AC: 17, T: 13, FF: 14 | Fort: +6, Ref: +7, Will: +3 | Melee: +6, Ranged: +7 | BAB: +4, CMB: +6, CMD: 19 | Init: +5, Intuition: +2, Perception: +10
mystery roll: 1d20 ⇒ 12
Let's see if I do this right. It's a...room!
room size: 1d20 ⇒ 9
And it's 20x20.
content: 1d20 ⇒ 1
A trick or a trap!
Do you take over from here, or do I keep rolling?
Or do you roll all these followups?
male
Well, you can establish the trick or trap, or let another player do it, or if it sits idle long enough I'll do it.
M Human Ranger 4 | HP: 45/46 | AC: 17, T: 13, FF: 14 | Fort: +6, Ref: +7, Will: +3 | Melee: +6, Ranged: +7 | BAB: +4, CMB: +6, CMD: 19 | Init: +5, Intuition: +2, Perception: +10
trick or trap: 1d20 ⇒ 18
A CR DL+1 trap!
Go card-carrying trapper!
male
Another trap, this one a CR 6, and it could be any kind of trap
Table VII. B. Trap Type
Trap Type?: 1d20 ⇒ 9
Ohhh, a CR 6 Melee Attack trap waits in that room.
Would someone like to check that room for exits?
Male Elf "Butcher" 4 | HP 35/35 | AC 18 | T 14 | FF 14 | CMD 19 | Fort +2 | Ref +8 | Will +2 | Init +4 | Perc +10 | Sense Motive +7
Letting all of my games know this. I recently got a promotion to supervisor. Until there is an office of sorts for me, I am stuck on the floor with my direct reports. Today, it was announced one of the guys on the other team would slide back under me. He's a bit of a whiny baby, so I am going to have to stay off the internet during the day, even when I am on break or lunch. That means I'll be posting at night and weekends only. If that means I need to bow out, I understand.
