You all have been amazingly patient with me, I can't thank you enough.
We've been running along here without any real goal or purpose for a long time.
The other game, Its "A" Dungeon too, has folded, unfortunately, but there are two really good players in that game and I would like to ask the four of you a two part question
Would you mind if those character's joined this game, and
Would you mind if I tried to manipulate this game into the quest that was begun in Its "A" Dungeon too?
In that game, It'Dupree had hired the characters to travel through a portal to another world to gather information concerning a powerful magical artifact, a mirror, which could hold the secret to releasing It'Dupree from here self imposed, though accidental, imprisonment?
This other game involved a specific goal for the characters, and a published module that I am updating to be compatible with the Pathfinder rules.
What do you think?

Ballar Fargrim |

I'm game for anything Terq!
I think having a goal would be a nice change as it gives us something to focus on instead of just exploring for exploration's sake. So long as you or the others don't mind Ballar's daft style of play, the more the merrier, right? :)

Zaehyra Sillaesa |

More than happy to take part in A Dungeon Too's quest or have them along with us.

Niversal Two Blades |

Niversal is only too happy to be paid wild sums of cash to do less then savory things ... wait was that my outloud voice? Besides these friends and companions I have made here have been excellent travelling sorts and fun to hang with despite the smells and occassional... philosophical disagreements. Lol.

long, on going, slow games where something was posted maybe a year ago, but should have happened maybe an hour ago in game time can be hard to manage.
So I want to remid you all that the tower he is talking about, where there is access to the sub basement, was collapsed when your party explored it. The only way to get there now is through the secret room (which either he does not know about or is not mentioning for a reason). The secret room, is the room with the statue which has transformed into an icon of Ballar's Patron Goddess.

Zaehyra Sillaesa |

Zae suspected this to be the case, but she was hoping to use the agreement and payment to leverage her desire to go down the stairs later. Which is the most manipulative lawful alignment manuever Ive been close to pulling ever.
I bet the portal is in the basement too.

Ballar Fargrim |

If moving the statue to another room is out of the question, Ballar can try to cover the statue with a sheet, perhaps then Keryth may consider entering the room. :)

Ah, of course, recently there was a change to the way DropBox allowed users to share files. I am going to have to go back to all my games and update links to images I have saved to DropBox
Also, as a heads up warning. I will be travelling to Redondo beach, CA for training beginning on 3/19 and until 3/25. I expect to have little to no ability to update images (almost everything is saved to my home computer) and if I can post to games I will try, but the class I am taking is supposed to be challenging and I might be doing homework projects every night.
Thanks, everyone

Zaehyra Sillaesa |

Coincidentally I am out of country until the 27th. My posting will be minimal if at all until then.
Good luck with your training Terq

we seem to have reached a bottleneck.
Let me be clear - the way down to the sub basement at the northeast tower is impassable (due to the collapse of the upper floors)
Keryth is determined not to go back anywhere near the statue room, and that is the only way down, so let's make some kind of decision here, okay?

Ballar Fargrim |

Short of introducing teleportation or magic transportation (I'm actually partial to a lintel stone limited to this universe) a compromise is appropriate. Whether it is moving the statue out of the room to a different room/location or covering it up, it makes no difference to me. Course, being pretty easy going, any suggestions Keryth or anyone else might want to table, Ballar will be eager try.
We should move on soon though as the others are awaiting our arrival, right?

Zaehyra Sillaesa |
2 people marked this as a favorite. |

How about... fade to black and cut to the scene with us opening the door at the bottom of the stairs. Should the topic come up, everyone refuses to talk about what happened for some reason.

Ballar Fargrim |

*laughing* That has potential :)

There is a whole sub level of this module that you could explore, including dangerous monsters, and strange traps. If you would like to do this part of the adventure I will get a map built, note the location of the ATM (so you can leave at any time) and then, with a little trickery, bring in the other two characters into this game, so that they can ask for your help in the other adventure. Or we can exit this adventure now, and get right into the Mirror Adventure.
We began the Portal adventure September 9, 2015 – I can’t believe that the four of you stayed with the game through that nonsense
Now, if you are still interested in gaming with me, I would like to offer you the following options. Finish the basement of The “Bone Hill” adventure (and I will bring in the other adventurers) or exit this game and…
I will close this game thread, and the IAD2 game thread. I will open a new thread, with a proper introduction, and explanation of the setting. Your characters will meet with a Dungeon Minion, who will offer them a job, helping the other party of adventurers sent to investigate a mysterious Mirror on the World of Alodoa.
You will be allowed to spend any treasure you have in Jefferies Emporium, to purchase new items, (if you feel you do not have enough “reasonable” resources I will try to accommodate your requests in the form of advanced payments from It’Dupree’s Dungeon Minion.
You will then be shown to a “special” Portal with a direct connection to the World of Alodoa.
You arrive in a village on the western frontier of Harrispania, near the border of the country of Baravkovia, in the foothills below a dark mountain range.
You will be told that It’Dupree has discovered a potential way to free herself from her imprisonment. It involves recovering an artifact, a magical Mirror that allows travel between the material plane and a Pocket Dimension. A set of adventurers were sent on a mission to discover if this Mirror actually exists, and when two of the agents returned, with details on what they found, It’Dupree decided to ask for more help in securing the Mirror, and getting it back to Riom (the world where the City of Du’Orbna is located).
If you want to play in this game, with two players from the other Its “A” Dungeon Game. I will open the new game thread this week, set the stage, and get you right into the adventure.
What would you like to do?

Zaehyra Sillaesa |

I, having no preference of one over the other, will support the majority of others here. Barring any known favor at that point, I support Terquem's preference whatever it may be, although it sounds like he would like to merge the two parties and start sooner than later on the mirror retrieval.

Terquem |

Ballar Fargrim |

Let's just jump in to the new thread. We are still relatively fresh in the Bone Hill adventure and I'd hate to leave the other two hanging for however long it takes us to search the sub level. See you guys on the other side of the mirror!

Keryth Tarathiel |

Do you have any equipment requests?
I'm not sure what you are asking here. Do we have treasure to sell and a share to spend? Has anyone been tracking loot? I know a number of items have been found and claimed by various people but that is about all I know.
