I didn't know the Royals had a post season. I mean, being a Royal is a life long career of speeches, ribbon cutting, charities, etc. It is not exactly seasonal work.

I'd hate to see this end. To let such epic entertainment slip away just seems wrong. I see our options as:
1. Reviving the recruitment thread, see what fish we get and make a choice.
2. If no one seems suitable, then put the thread on ice. Should Berenwyr re-emerge, Terquem could PM us to bring the gang back to life.
3. We could pull out of the dungeon and venture to another one of Terquem's realities.

As to 3, I like this game. I've looked at some of the other games and they don't really interest me. I think the fact that we blur the lines a bit is helpful. Terquem has his way of running a game and it's fine. I think for me, it's better in a smaller game than some of the larger worlds.
So my vote is 1 and/or 2.

I also like options 1 and 2. Mostly 2, as it's hard to imagine a good replacement.

Welcome to the madness. Basic rule is our characters understand that they are in a dungeon and weirder than normal crap happens. You can sorta acknowledge the fourth wall, but don't blatantly cross it? That sound right? I still think we are pretty close to OOTS, but Terquem, I think, disagrees.

Ok, until light comes on, I am seeing some concealment penalties coming. Roll 1d100, 1-50 miss? (50% miss chance for the total concealment in the dark, not sure if there are other penalties to go with it). Good thing I saw that monkey 35' ahead of our resident nacho man...er...dwarf.

Each token of Monkiness represents several (I hope) baboons, who are AC 13 and have 5 hp. When a token is in melee with a character it will get a number of bite attacks equal to the number of monkeys in the token, and one attack will get a special “monkeiness” attack bonus of +2 to hit.
When a Monkey token is attacked you roll against the target AC as normal, and if you do 5+ damage one monkey is killed, to kill a second monkey with one attack you need to do +7 damage (above the first 5) and to kill another the additional damage is increased by another +2 (so 9 more than 12 points, for a total of 21 points in one attack) otherwise no other monkeys in the token are hurt by your attack.
The girallon is, well, a girallon and is much, much worse than the monkey tokens

Oh, we tend to have lulls and such. So you may make a post and then it takes a day or so for things to move forward. Good use of the pause button though. We'll have a flurry of posts and then nothing for a while. Went back and looked and both Berenwyr and I were brought in as level 2 (or 1..can't recall, in June of 2013. That might give you a bit of an idea of how this thing moves.
PS. Terquem is actually trying to kill us.

Clearly, if they had us in their parties, they would not be in any great peril. Sadly, we cannot be everywhere at once. By the way, while I appreciate the wall you're mimicking in front of me, it would be much easier if you all crouch a bit lower so I can better fire at the pesky monkeys.
