I think we should take the ship and go; decide later if we want to sell it or expand our little fleet.

It is land army weapons. Spears, short swords, shields, and scale mail. You already have sufficient cutlasses for the crew but some spears would give you some two handed attack weapons that would be good in the water. Shields would be a drastic improvement in AC and most of your crew have at least one level of warrior so they can use them. Scale mail is better than the leather they use but it has a significant armor penalty to swim. If you upgrade all of the crew it will take about half a point of plunder. Half the crew, quarter plunder, etc.

Anyone remember what it cost to get a ship squibbed? I'd hate for us to spend all the plunder on getting a second ship AND being short-handed. However, it is a second ship and could serve us well. I'd be in favor of keeping.

If we're talking strictly statistics here, Bessie and I have the best Profession: Sailor for captaining the other ship. Of course, that is purely mechanical and screw that. There is a certain amount of hilarity and greatness of having a goblin on a box manning the helm.

Actually, Bleepos has a +13 against the +10s, so it's not only a matter of being hilarious :) When I first built this character, I wanted him to eventually captain a ship. That's the kind of pleasure only Pathfinder can provide! Lol :)

Looking at the extra cost, I believe we can probably split that with about 200 gp each from our gold on the treasure tracker. That takes a bit of our gold, but gives us more opportunities to gather more. Thoughts? Not sure how much Beket and Bleepos have, but if everyone has enough we should be able to squib the ship without too much cost for any one person. Thoughts?

Beket has about 200 in platinum pieces left. He is dedicated to the crew and is more than willing to give it up as long as it means they can raid again soon. Captain Harrigan had been a bit gunshy since his last boat up'd and left :P

@Bleepos: Fighting defensively is -4 and Crane style reduces to -2. It looks like you are double counting Crane style or not starting with the -4. I see it, charge bonus.

I don't have the ability to move my token or the roc either so I'm just waiting on that. I'd also have liked to have had a different position since I'm a bit slower on the ship, somewhere that would've let me charge across.

Note that the lines connecting the ships are considered difficult terrain and require 10' of movement per square unless you have something similar to Bleepos moving using lines and rigging.

I will heal Orslaw next action, hopefully it helps- I did the Bears endurance first so you could get the lost CON back for the Fortitude save as well as HP.
Once Orslaw is stable, our combined attacks should be enough.

And I love this battle; fog undead a ghost ship... it’s like our own Pirates of the Caribbean scene! I can imagine the scene, the noise, the smell of ocean and undead.

Bleepos is leveled too. Got Rogue's Edge this level, it went into Acrobatics (I can tumble at full speed by increasing the DC by 5 instead of 10). Got Combat Expertise this level (it will work well when I become proficient in the madu I'm carrying). In Crane Style, I fight defensively with a -2 to attacks for a +5 to AC, of -3/+6 with Combat Expertise. Once I'm proficient with the madu, this becomes a 0/+6 (pretty good! :D).
I think we should go for the "rock" thing to have our own "personal fortress" now (assuming we can take and turn it into it).

I think you will still have a -1 on combat expertise. Madu says:
your attack penalty for using Combat Expertise improves by +1 (minimum –1 penalty)
But -1/+6 is pretty slick.

Bessie would not have set sail without having an agreed to means of communicating between ships, and some expectation of what to expect upon approach to the rock.
Also, I am going to assume both ships drop anchor off shore, lest we drift into or away from the Rock.

Bessie's proposal would be the following:
Tidewater is a safe haven and defends the Perilous fleet.
Tidewater provides shipping targets to the Perilous fleet.
The Perilous fleet will provide a percentage or number of shares to Tidewater - based on plunder after repairs. This would need to be negotiated...
Ships taken are property of the fleet and the percentage/shares of their sale will be split with Tidewater. Ships held will be paid for through additional shares of future plunder.
The Perilous fleet will be allowed to create and maintain a Besmara shrine at Tidewater and new holdings gained by Tidewater.
Perilous Fleets will transport and support Lady Smythee forces in retaking of lost Smythee holdings. Damages to ships will be paid by Smythee plunder; or withheld from future raids by Perilous Fleet. All plunder taken in reclaiming the holdings shall be split with the Perilous Fleet receiving the same percentage or share amount provided to Tidewater for captured ships.
A peaceful end to the alliance may be formally requested by either Lady Smythee or Commodore Coeur-de-Lion; initiating a 24 hour treaty for withdrawal and separation of forces.

I don't know if that's the direction the AP suggests, but I do enjoy the possibility of trying something creative - different than the usual murderhobo routine that some of these adventures push us into! Thanks GM for navigating these waters with us.
With that said, I don't very much trust her or her people, and in theory there's even the possibility that Harrigan already planted a spy around there. So we need to plan some "surprise appearances" to try to avoid these... Inconveniences.
Things working, I like the fact that her troops in land can actually help protect parts of our fleet if they're being repaired or simply ported. Maybe we can even invest some of the plunder into equipping this fort with personnel & gear for these services beyond defenses.
