Sorry for the spottiness of my posting lately. I've started the process of hunting for and buying a house. It's crazy how much time it eats up. I'll do my best to keep my posting on schedule, but if I'm holding things up, go ahead and bot me to keep things moving.

@iron- Mechanically, I have never really rolled heal checks for treating wounds; I mention offering healing and tending to wounds in "downtime" but not really using the skill (rolling) to treat wounds.
Because of that, I have only adjusted my original healers kit once - the bot fly healing (9 remain of the full 10 uses).
How do you want to handle this moving forward? Would you be ok with uses only counting for uses requiring in game rolls and the "downtime" not counting? Something else?
Orslaw
Oslaw's purple tongue flops to the side as he replies "I'm not glad you mentioned it..."
LOL!! Ok, so he may have been a bit less enthusiastic about his weapons. However, just looking it up, doesn't the Heal skill allow you to treat diseases and give the injured a +4 bonus on their saves? Since it was mentioned previously, would that keep him up and running a little longer?
Orslaw
No worries at all, Bessie. I'm honestly having a good time with it. I think we'd both mentioned it a couple of times when we got back to the ship. Besides, I've never played an undead before, so this'll be new. :-)
Orslaw
Well, with Bessie's help, it looks like Orslaw will be able to hold out until we find this witch doctor or Bessie hits level 5 and can get Remove Disease. Thankfully, Fort saves are his best so we can probably make it as long as we need to do so.

Look at the treasure tracker. You have several individual items right now that can be sold separately. Being a village, I will use the rules for plunder on non-magical items. That is 30% base, 40% max market value. So, you probably don't want to sell the dress here. But, Hake does give 50% on magic items. Besides the ring of swimming, you have a couple of items you may not intend to use. There are bracers of armor +1, most of you wear armor and 1 pt is not much anyway. The amulet I guess you may want to keep.
If anyone is carrying anything in particular when you go up river, I need to know. The screaming bolts, who has the amulet of natural armor +1 (Orslaw asked for it but I don't recall it being solidified), any weapons purchases, etc. You asked about spears, those are available as are heavy wooden shields. Cutlasses, daggers, crossbows, and hand axes are the majority of what they have. Anyone looking for a special weapon, declare what you are looking for; you need a 15 or better on a d20 to find the item here. Simple weapon +2 to the roll, martial weapon +0 to roll, exotic weapon -2 to roll. Master work item -2 to roll. Magic item -2 to roll. You may aid your chances with a CHA check DC 10, success gives +2 to the roll (represents the fates smiling on you). They have six pots of alchemist's fire at a 20% markup. Treat other alchemical items as masterwork.

I am good to sell whatever the group wants. There is nothing that appeals to Bessie, and nothing she wants that she could afford.
She will buy a spear and take that and her combat and carried gear:
Rapier
Spear
Dagger 2
MWK Leather Armor (+2)
Hvy St Shield (+2)
Crossbow- Light
Bolts (20)
Healers Kit [9|10 uses]
Suregeon Kit
Pathfinder Kit
Grooming Kit

Do I need to roll to see if Orslaw finds the falchion here or just other things going forward? If we're only getting 30% the value, I'd say we hold on to it until we find a better port. Unless there is something people want to buy and we just need the money right now.
On another note, does Orslaw's ability damage heal up as the days pass? I know his Fort save will start taking a hit here shortly, but didn't know if this was ability damage that didn't heal up and 1 per stat per day.
Ironperenti
I have messed with Orslaw a bit so you can assume they have a standard falchion.
The participating crew hop in the ship's boat and head north up the estuary. About a half mile north you come to the tributary to the west that was mentioned. It is actually about three miles up this river before you come to the falls. Just saying falls is a bit of an understatement. Although the amount of water is not huge the height of the falls is immense. You guess it is about a hundred foot climb up rugged but not impossible terrain.
Do you take the boat up with you or leave it beached?

Don't think the inner pirate in Bessie isn't considering turning Guillaume over to the naga and taking over as Captain... to quote Jack Sparrow "Pirate...!".
NOT that I would actually do or even allow it to happen; Guillaume is Peril Crew after all!

Hi everyone, I'm so sorry about my extended absence! As I mentioned before I've been in the process of buying a house and the list of chores associated hasn't seemed to get any shorter. It's been eating up all the free time I have. I close on the house tomorrow though so expect to be getting back to regular posting within a couple of days now. Thanks for your patience!

My fellow gamers/adventurers: I hate to have to say this, but I think I’m gonna have to bow out of my PBP games. We all know how real life can rear its ugly head, and I’m just not finding the time to work on my online hobby these days. I can barely keep up with reading posts, let alone posting any actions on my own, and I’d rather not limp along in some half-ass fashion without being able to give the time and energy that these games and our characters deserve. I wish you all the best and thank you for including me in your stories. -Rob

@Guillaume - Please don't make assumptions that Bessie told you she recognized Pegsworthy. I do not know the significance of that particular Free Captain, and was hoping to use the knowledge of who he was to my advantage.

Hey guys! Happy to see things are still going strong. Hope you guys are having a blast! Life got complicated for me when I left - and Paizo wasn't helping either, keeping me a couple months away from the forums. Wish you all the best! :)
Bessie Rodgers
Bleepos!! Bessie was just talking about you -post 1300!!
Hoe that you are doing well! Any chance that your checking in is a signal of a return? We just lost Vlad/Crow....With Iron and the rest's approval...
Bleepos Droppo
Well, if you guys would allow me back in, I'd love to join again - although confessedly a little lost on what might have happened, and needing an update. Are you truly sure you want a crazy goblin pirateing around?
Ironperenti
I'm good. Not sure why the others would have issue. I had you go off with the ship with Harrigan but I could easily have you meet back up with the crew at the next port which is somewhat where they are headed. Better yet, if you want back in, I have the perfect place for you to be.
As for catch up. Captain Harrigan attacked the Man's Promise. Of course tensions between Mr Plugg and the crew continued to get worse. After the attack, Harrigan split his crew with Plugg taking the Man's Promise with the PCs aboard. A couple of mates were kidnapped by sea goblins and the PCs went to save them. Plugg was angry about the delay and saw in it a means of getting rid of the PCs. After the rescue he attempted to kill them before they boarded. The PCs prevailed and took the ship. They had her squibbed to look different, elected Guillaume as Captain and have just salvaged a sunken treasure.
Ironperenti
I'm getting the treasure tracker updated. Please check it and either update it if you can with who took which item or let me know so I can make adjustments. I am assuming the crew is getting 1/5 to split among them. The officers and the captain get the other 80%.

Come back to us Bleepos!
Maybe Bleepos somehow got left behind on the island we're revisiting?
Thanks for the work on the treasure tracker Ironperenti. I'll give it a look today.
I'm fine with the loot split you suggested. Anyone prefer something different?
Bleepos Droppo
Great! Iron already sent me a hook to come back. I need to go through the rules to update Bleepos to level 4. Maybe build him with a level 3 wealth? This AP is quite behind the others in wealth, right.
I have vacations coming this mid-March (about 2 weeks), by the way - I don’t plan to disappear, but during this period I’ll be a little off and on. Until then I hope to be up and strong soon!
Bleepos Droppo
I updated Bleepos. Instead of a weapon and another item, I put an amulet of mighty fists +1 (since he's focused mostly in his bite, and now has improved unarmed strike for his little fists as well).
Bleepos Droppo
Hey guys,
Posting it on the games I play and host - I'll be leaving on vacations on some days, and will stay a bit out of the internet for some weeks. Please feel free to bot my characters during this while.
Cheers!

I work for the Oregon Department of Human Services. We're expecting to be hit with maybe the biggest rush of benefits applications ever due to statewide service sector closings.
I'm going to be pulled off my normal job to help process intakes somewhere between sometimes and a lot, and it's possible overtime could become involved.
I don't know what this is going to do to my availability right now, posts from me could become spotty at times depending on how things unfold. It's getting pretty crazy right now.
