The tables and shelves in this large laboratory are all coated with a thin greenish slime. One desk is heaped with pages of notes, and a human skeleton dressed in mouldy robes lies slumped over it. A large glass tank atop the easternmost table is shattered and shards of glass litter the floor of the room, while a pale green haze floats in the air.

"Welp, that's a lot of stuff that could go wrong. Those notes look like Adlur or Zimdoz might want to look at them though, so I guess we'll brave it. First, the tank is broken, but the glass is on the outside. Maybe something crashed out of it, or the gas, item three, by the way, was in it? Then the second thing is the skeleton. I'm hoping that the gas, again item three, did that little number on it, but I suppose another thing could have killed it and maybe, maybe not, it is animated? Third, like I said, that weird gas," Poshment rambles, pausing only to take a deep breath. "Are we going to die?" he asks the others.

I'd like to have Grezzag take a shot with his bow at the skeleton, but I think the experts are going to have to take a crack at this haze! I think Poshment could also prep a Detect Poison spell in a first level slot.

Looking to figure out the source of the haze or what it is. Residual poison gas? Monster BO? I'll make a flat roll and list my bonuses for my various knowledges. Throw in some detect magic and technomancy for good measure

Zimdoz, you recognise the creature as a hungry fog which is a type of ooze. They have damage reduction against everything except magic. They are immune to acid, electricity and sonic and they have resistance to cold. Their attacks do negative energy damage.

Something in my gut tells me this one's going to be a doozy folks! GM, which map are we on? [url=http://legacy.aonprd.com/coreRulebook/spells/goodHope.html]Good Hope[/url on everyone! It is like Heroism but the duration is min/lvl, can hit multiple creatures, and it adds to damage as well.


"I almost like killing bots more than this, but I won't say no to a good challenge either!" Grezzag grumbles before moving up to the Ooze and taking a swing at it.

With Rapid reload, rapid shot, and use of paper cartridges, Zimdoz does 4 attacks! Only one is an ordnance attack, though, but all are magic.

Of the damage, 25 is fire, and since all are ranged touch attacks, I think all hit. The enemy must make a DC 19 reflex save or be stuck to the ground (if it's flying, then it can't be stuck - but it's entangled).

Rotating slightly he then starts firing at the allip, doing some damage.

In retaliation the allip starts to babble.

"Grezzag? You alright there? Oh geez, let me get that for you," Poshment says, running over to his damage sponge with a cloth. Jumping up in an attempt to wipe his face, what should have been a gentle swipe turns into a punch to the chin.
