When Talia speaks his name, the figure of Zosiel nods and settles back into the wall. A bright blue light begins to shine around the sarcophagus and fades a few moments later, Where once the sarcophagus seemed to almost be carved of a single block of marble, now a deep seam where the lid meets the base can clearly be seen.

GM Fanguar |

Finding no traps, Talia slides the sarcophagus lid over enough to peer in. There is no corpse inside, but you do see several items arranged with reverence.:
A slight, tarnished silver diadem inscribed with Zosiel's personal glyph.
Two long slightly curved black horns with red tips.
A pewter box inscribed with alien writhing letterforms. The metal holding the box together has melted in the past making the box sealed.
The Glyphs are those of the Miska the wolf-spider, demon queen of chaos. (she is the big bad that the wind lords (eg Zosiel) were fighting)

Istvan Masterson |

Knowledge: Planes: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (3) + 8 = 11
Knowledge: Religion: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (9) + 8 = 17
Istvan finds the box most disturbin. An artifact of Miska, the wolf-spider. Demon Queen of chaos.
The other items, Istvan be less certain of, but Istvan be examanin them much more closely.
Detect Magic and examin each carefully without touching them.
Diadem: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (11) + 10 = 21
Horns: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (12) + 10 = 22

Talia Virn |

"This really looks creepy.", says Talia, eyeing the pewter box. "But there must be a reason why they kept it in here. Do you think it is still evil, Harold?"
Focusing on the horns, next, she asks Istvan if he knows which creatures they were taken from.

Harold Wainright |

"It is not evil, but I dare say that it is still highly suspect; I would like to see what the Brothers at Church in town can make of it..."
Shall we head back to town, and split loot?

Talia Virn |

Grinning broadly, Istvan bows and gestures towards the exit. Istvan agrees. We should let the Brothers inspect our spoils. Just to be sure.
"I agree, let's get out of here. I don't think there is anywhere else to go and to search here. Besides, we also need to pay a visit to Smenk."

GM Fanguar |

Your trip to town is uneventful and you have no trouble returning to church. Upon your arrival, you are informed that the Necromancer, Filge, has been placed into the custody of the local sherif's office. Any questions regarding identification of your loot is met with helpless shrugs and a suggestion that you might have better luck talking to the local Sage, Allustan.
Congratulations on completing the first adventure in the Age of Worms AP!! Feel free you shop to your heart's content and we'll take up with Smenk to kick off 'The Three Faces of Evil"....

Alright, just to do a brak-down of the loot we have:
Silver tray (50gp)
Glasses (70gp)
Lammasu rug (buried)
Potion of Gentle Repose
Potion of False Life
Potion of Ghost Touch
Potion of Chill Touch
Coins (25gp)
Small Emerald (50gp)
Operating tools (500gp)
Amulet of Natural Armor +1
Silverware set (200gp)
Candle stands (30gp)
Starchart (100gp)
Heavy Crossbows x3
Circlet of Wisdom +2
Curved black horns x2 (??gp)
Chaos box
Is there anything in that mix that people want?
I would not mind the Amulet, and the Potion of False Life.

Talia Virn |

@GM Fangar: in the loot, we have a potion of ghost touch. There is no ghost touch spell and i can only think of two similar things: either a potion of ghoul touch or an oil of ghost touch that would temporal give a weapon the ghoul touch property.
I already got the +1 short sword, the feather falling ring and the glasses of minute seing, so I'm fine with magical items. I'm happy with harold suggestions and propose that Parnell gets the circlet of wisdom.
Spellbook (Istvan)
Silver tray (50gp) to sell
Glasses (70gp) to sell
Lammasu rug (buried)
Potion of Gentle Repose (group keep)
Potion of False Life (Harold)
Potion of Ghost Touch (if that's an oil of ghost touch, we should keep it. If it's a potion of ghoul touch, we may want to keep it but Talia would prefer we sell it.)
Potion of Chill Touch to sell gp ??
Coins (25gp)
Small Emerald (50gp) to sell
Operating tools (500gp) to sell
Amulet of Natural Armor +1 (Harold)
Silverware set (200gp) to sell
Candle stands (30gp) to sell
Starchart (100gp) to sell
Heavy Crossbows x3 to sell
Circlet of Wisdom +2 (Parnell)
Curved black horns x2 (to keep)
Chaos box (to keep)
We also neer to show the box and horns to Allustan

Talia Virn |

Taking into account a potion of ghoul touch with CL3 (300 GP) and one of chill touch with CL3 (150 GP), we arrive at a total of 1625 GP. If we sell it for half, we have 812 GP and 5SP or 203 GP 1SP per person (not going to divide the last SP in 4 :)
And Parnel Keeps the circlet, Istvan the spellbook and Harold the Amulter of natural armor, the potion of false life and gentle repose, the horns and the chaos box.

Knowledge local: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (11) + 6 = 17
Talia nods to Harold, smile vanishing from her face and opens the flap of two of her quivers while readying her bow. "He's got apes guarding his house. Maybe they escaped or someone freed them."
Then, she enters the foyer as with a light step, looking for who could have done that and listening to any noise.
stealth: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (9) + 10 = 19
survival to look for tracks in the foyer: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (4) + 9 = 13
perception: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (16) + 8 = 24

GM Fanguar |

Sorry been out with the flu...
@Parnel:They're Hostile, so that wild empathy isn't going to do it.
The apes approach you begin to hear the rattle of chains. When they come into sight, you see that there are three of the beasts and they are all collared to thin metal chains. The chains provide enough slack to allow the apes to reach the doorway, but no further.
Their racket does rouse the attention of the manor's owner and a shout of "What do you want?" from above, draws your attention to a portly, well dressed man leaning out a window on the second story. You all recognize Balabar Smenk.
