Last minute shopping: Bupkis has his eye on a pair of Boots of the Winterlands (2500 gp) to keep his feet nice and warm; he's heard it gets cold up in the mountains! He doesn't really need the ease of travelling on ice, but not leaving tracks in the snow will help him sneak.

Last minute purchase as well, purchase boots of the cat, for just incase. And some cold weather gear, cuz why not.
As far as party gear, there's-
A bag of holding
1 or 2 wands of CLW?
A couple scrolls of restoration? (just in case?)
Also, our friendly bard wouldn't happen to know Heroism as a spell would they?

I think I will buy a Cold Weather Outfit, as well. Cause it's cold.
Should we get a wand of endure elements?

Found one. Discordant Voice. +1d6 damage for all allies withing 30 feet while affected by inspire courage.
Lingering performance is also nice, but as all enemies tend to be dead in an instant, I barely run out of performance. With 28 rounds now, I think I'm good. The only time I ran out was the inspire competence to help with the swimming in the lake.
Now let's hope I don't regret to have to stand within 30 feet of melee.

            +21 to hit comes from: +7(bab) +6(str) +1 (weapon focus) +2 (weapon training) +1 enchantment bonus + 4(luck bonus)
+22 to damage comes from: +9 str (base 6 x1.5) + power attack (base 4 x1.5) + 2 fighter training + 1 enhancement bonus + 4 luck
Your luck bonus (assuming it is from divine favor) would be +3 by your caster level, and also the spell has a +3 maximum

Normally yes but that's what fate's favoured trait helps with. It's even better on a half orc where it stacks with the sacred tattoo racial to give +1 to all saves.

Hi Foxy that's true, the act of charging does not trigger an AOO. Movement from the charge does trigger AOOs as normal sadly. The giant has reach so to get to it Daseem would pass through one or more squares threatened by the giant, triggering an AOO. Some rules forum discussion.
If this had been a surprise round (doesn't sound like one) and it was flat footed then that would have been different :)

            Rules Rant:
Who writes "No" in that table if it isn't meant? A charge is a full round action that consists of moving up to twice your speed and a single melee attack. The options to fill that column, only from what is already there are: Yes, No, Maybe, Usually, Varies. But they decided to put "No"
1) Regardless of the action, if you move out of a threatened square, you usually provoke an attack of opportunity. This column indicates whether the action itself, not moving, provokes an attack of opportunity.
So we have a 'usually' rule and the action itself named charge (that consists of a required move of minimum 10 ft and an attack) that says explicitly "No" to attacks of opportunity.

I agree. Still I can sort of see why this happens, they have so many rules that listing all the exceptions would be hard to maintain especially as new rule books were added. I wish they had done that though, would have cut down on endless arguments/confusion.

No use for me to pout over sub par wording, if everyone reads it as 'the movement provokes', then we'll go with that.
But if you don't mind, I'd appreciate it a lot if you'd do your preparations, wait for Ivan, without mentioning it and shout your "Gorum", when you actually charge.
Because every time Daseem shouts "Gorum" only to wait for Ivan it reminds me of Mr. Prosser from Hitchhiker's Guide through the Galaxy. This sad little bureaucrat with a fur hat arguing impotently with Arthur Dent in front of the bulldozer. Mr. Prosser who is plagued by hordes of warriors on horses riding through his mind while Genghis Khan, his forebear, rotates in his grave.
It's a really funny read, but that train of thoughts totally kills the image of Daseem as a mighty warrior of Gorum in my cinema of the mind.

Sorry for the disappearance, I lost access to my account for a bit, and with a plethora of other things going on the past week or so didn't feel like dedicating the time/frustration to getting it back. This of course, stems from a silly thing I ended up doing back when people got locked out.

Alternatively he should be able to use natural attacks (and light weapons IIRC) while grappled. Grappling is kinda complex, there's a flowchart which might help.

I missed that I even got attacked. Yes, recycle the attack roll as a CMB check to break free. The total would be 34.

I think before we sleep we should check the surrounding area well for any surprises. It's a real shame we don't have any arcane casters because rope trick, mage's mansion etc would be pretty nifty about now. In terms of actual camping gear we've tended to gloss that sort of thing over, but I'd assume we all have mundane stuff like bedrolls, tents etc.
If you can carry such stuff without breaking your weight limits that is fine. But it would be more funny, if the party just now finds out, that they forgot.
