Kurst would bother a few halflings than wake half the long house dragging Ivan's clanking butt in :) Please note Ivan will be fatigued in the morning if he sleeps in his armor, unless there is some ability I missed.

Just noticed that the NPCs link appeared to be broken, should be fixed now, I have also added a Clues google slide. These should all be at the top of each page in blue, above the loot spreadsheet link (empty) and below the map of Trunau link.

He wasn't in his armor, I need a way to get endurance, otherwise I doubt heavy armor will be of much use. I might just take it next level. Though, I would ask, how often does requiring sleep in dangerous areas come up in this AP? I don't want to take a feat that would wind up being fairly useless.

I believe this one has a fairly large wilderness part so I’d expect we will be camping and sleeping in armor would probably be very useful. I would also look into 3 levels of ranger. Favored enemy and terrain, as well as combat style and endurance all rolled into 3 lvls.

Will be some time before we could afford them, but there are armor enchantments that let you sleep in them. There are also spells that allow armor to be donned quickly too.

I can't take any levels of ranger till after level 5, (so I can ignore the penalty to attacks with a tower shield). And I may need endurance before then.
besides, I need fighter 4 to get the bonus feats, and grab weapon specialization so I do at least SOME damage.

Hilarious, but practical! If I were camping somewhere with a reasonable chance of running into giants, dragons, hydras, etc., I might favor a chain shirt for nightwear.

I will likely just take endurance next level, I had thought about taking some dwarven racial feats, but sleeping in heavy armor is so dwarfy it is fine. Besides that, there is a large difference in (by then hopefully) 9 AC and 4 AC

My shaman in Ironfang Invasion is seriously considering some mithril pajamas, after our camp was attacked by a couple of bulettes in the middle of the night. He stepped out of his tent and took 100 points of damage from 8 claw hits! Only his Aegis of Recovery saved him from instant death (we are 8th lvl).

You're a dwarf. You could get it as a racial bonus. Seems fitting to your backstory too.
Dwarves who make their homes in the Sky Citadels are trained to outlast sieges and serve as vigilant guards. They gain Endurance as a bonus feat. In addition, during rounds in which they have not moved, they gain a +1 racial bonus on attack rolls against foes who also did not move since their last turn. This racial trait replaces greed, hardy, and hatred.
Or there's this one-
You gain Endurance as a bonus feat, and Climb and Swim are class skills for them. This racial trait replaces hardy.

If you have played up to this point before you may notice things are playing out a little differently; that is because I am following recommendations to iron out some kinks in the AP. You would normally just have been summoned by Kurst, for example, but given he AP practically dictates half of the party sleeping at The Ramblehouse and a hysterical reaction that seems a little odd. This also serves to speed things along with the investigation a little which is a good thing IMO.
And if you have noticed a pick up in my posting rate, that is mostly to do with a lovely lack of searing tooth and headache; I had a broken tooth fixed and have spent the better part of this week with frozen peas pressed to my cheek though I was not too displeased with my previous rate, it was a bit difficult to be properly enthused.

The father of Rodrik and Kurst, you have not met him in game. He is also the head of the militia, but Rodrik and Kurst are the ones militia men would see regularly.

No I noticed that and it was fine. Basically he is the commander, but much more distant than Rodrik and Kurst. He is getting on a bit and probably only comes to observe training now and then, but sparring with Ivan might easily have aroused his interest since he was a formidable warrior and Ivan's style is substantially different.

Yes, you can take 10 on Diplomacy. Bupkis could take 10 to get a total of 9, which I didn't think would be helpful. :)

Nothing seems to indicate otherwise and it seems intuitive, like being formally polite or the like. On the plus side you can only try to influence attitudes once in 24 hours so Ivan's second charmfest did not actually turn her hostile just really unfriendly.

As far as Menrozzar is concerned, all Ivan did was make the situation worse. The militia’s authority is non-existent in Trunau - Kurst isn’t going to be able to do much.

Please note while I do not require it, I strongly suggest you try to keep together as a party as much as possible. IMO it makes for a more fun game, less work for your poor GM, and a much better chance of survival - I was not kidding with those warning in recruitment this is arguably the harshest start to an AP.
And please ensure any grudges stay only in character, I am slightly worried about Menrozzar and Ivan falling out and would encourage you to discuss here how it can play out in an entertaining manner with a positive outcome - at minimum I think a friendly OOC dialogue counters possible disgruntlement from IC interactions.

I was thinking that Menrozzar would tell Ivan to show a little tact when talking to people, and that attempting to bully townsfolk into cooperating would likely result in getting a knife in the ribs. Menrozzar is mostly irritated that he made things more difficult - his anger will cool down by the time the two meet back up.
