Well, there's also the fall damage. Remember, Velden was straddling a pit, so when he fell, he fell into the pit. So that whole 5 rounds thing is without the additional damage.
Iridani Sniper Crystal : Range penalty is -1 per range increment, rather than the standard -2.

About me! I am one of the original players in this game, but i have been gone on a long hiatus and recently have been talking to GM Wolf about rejoining this game.
CL4P-TP or Claptrap as he is known, is an esentric all purpose utility robot with a cheery attitude and a most likely unhealthy obsession with explosives.
He is an alchemist/bard (mindchemist/archivist), yes a singing robot, he can chuck some less than stellar bombs, he is very good at aiding another, and he is a know it all with extensive memory banks.
I hope to join in the fun ^-^

First, I am on the floor, beside you guys, not at the top of the shaft.
Although now that I can get a look at the crypt map, im next to A. Blake, I think I should be down with Vern and Karn (sorry, trying to join up is proving a bit messy)
Second, I realize that I "left" most of my stuff (and most of the explosives and eridian artifacts) in the Gobomobile, which may or may not exist anymore :(
Any chance I could have some, or all of it with me?
If so, then I could have up to 4 shaped charges, and 24 sticks of tnt... Should be enough XD
Not that I would want to use them all, but I imagine 2 shaped charges and one of my own bombs set to go off at the same time should do a decent trick :)

Sure, the tin can becomes an animated object. Should be the equivalent of undead for constructs.

Didn't use blunts in the trap room, used normal arrows (wanted to pierce into the wood). I usually carry 20 blunt and 20 piercing.
edit : Oh, you mean the ones the machinery fired. I'd assumed they were bolts instead of arrows.

B) Are we going to level anytime soon? us new folks have been at this for six months now in real time, and cleared quite a few encounters)

A) explosion was from an unstable item that has been collected from the previous skeletons.
B) next time you rest I am sure you will be surprised. You may go back and calculate what XP you have gained, though if you just wait once you finish this area you might just simply find another level up. Easier that way I think, its all calculated with the module.

Velden you think that one of the jars has arcanic script on it, explaining that the liquid in this jar is used to preserve corpses, organic matter, or even restore some physical ability damage (lesser restoration). Another of the jars has the same light script on it, you read that this salve is used to cure wounds as cure light. A third jar does not have the script but how it moves when you roll the jar you believe it to be like a living spell but more moldable, meaning you could pull out a glob of it and once thrown it will catch fire and make the subject burst into flames. ranged touch attack, 2d6 for three rounds. It looks like an alchemy check might reveal what the other liquids are.

Btw Velden, i got a +13 craft alchemy check, from being an alchemist
is my thinking that we have access to any/all of the 8 weapons (effected by/limited to encumbrance) correct? Also do we know what each item does or do we need to make apprasial checks?
So ill take the; +1 whip, +3 longspear, +2 benelovent shortspear, +1 cold iron mace, +1 dagger, +2 merciful scythe and +1 holy darkwood composite longbow (+3 str rating).
But i will have to go over my character, square up his items, figure out encumbrance and figure out EXACTLY what he has :)

Unrelated, i think ill take the bodyguard feat, the weapon finesse just wont work with much :(

are we planning on resting for a while? If so ill start proving my worth as a skillbot and making quite a few skill checks (appraising weapons, identifying things, handing out extra weapons to the others, using cantrips (i forgot about those!), making wisecracks ect)

I suspect the spirit on the stairs may try to keep us from taking all of the loot, only allowing some. Otherwise, we basically have enough loot to make us all WBL for 8th level characters. :)
Anyway, Velden will hand the jars over to the claptrap to let it check the alchemical jars.
On a completely different note, Claptrap, why did you take a knowledge skill in manure? Or Dung, as you call it? Seems like a rather tight specialization. I mean, I guess it could help in identifying what ate and pooped out some guy, but other than that...

Its for dungeonering. Ive got so many skills from being an intelegence bard that i cant actually fit them all in that field >.>
Still, ive found out that playing the skill bot has been tremendious fun, im ALWAYS busy with something i can do at any given moment :)
I think it might be my new favorite role :)

We may have a lot of equipment with monetary value, but i dont think even you could wield 8 bows at once. Even if we decided to take everything with us, we would still have to carry it all, factoring in encoumbrance, i mean Karin's club weighs 40lbs! Tack that onto his 45lb armor...
Next, we cant sell it any time soon, so we will have to drag everything with us for quite a while, and the next time we run across loot? We will have to make desicions.
I personally dont think it will be that bad of a problem as long as we track encoumberance :)
Btw. What ARE we doing in this crypt anyways????

Actually, we're escorting some newbies who were on a quest to prove they were adults (a yearly thing that happens all the time) but someone woke up and reactivated the ruins real defenses and set up some undead guardians who killed the townsfolk who came out to set up the minor trials for the greenhorns to prove they were adults.

Claptrap you know what the item's properties are, I stated them. Any item that is of second level or lower will be easily identified by the group. I will need individual checks for those items with +3 abilities.
Karn's club weighs 10x that when he fails his strength check. ;)
Claptrap I need an alchemy check for each unidentifed jar. Three I believe.
Each of you have first choice at the 8 items you stated, also you may learn that the value for weapons is severely diminished on this planet.

are any of the greenhorns still alive? So far i really only know of me, veldin, bisnu, avizzi, karin and jellena (on occasion, where did she go?). Oh, and the marines outside.
I can give 3 more alchemy checks. And ill do the identify checks a little bit later.

Yeah, they're all alive, up stairs, hanging out in a safe area with all the characters who quit the game. :) Right now, that's the safest room on the planet. :)
As to weapons, Velden's unlikely to take any of the weapons, he's sentimental. Is there a way to transfer from one weapon to another? He might transfer the magic from one of them to his bow, but he wouldn't leave his bow. Same for his sword (given that it is a sword dedicated to his goddess, trading it for some lost silver coated dagger would be problematic at best).
Also, GM, just to be aware, I plan on eventually multiclassing into either Oracle or Cleric. Just be aware. Probably on the sorcerer side, not the monk side.

I'm personally planning to bring the cooking gear back to the room with the greenhorns and leave it (and maybe some other gear) there to free up extra weight for these weapons. Until that time, Avizzi may be taking a medium load and dealing with it, because once he focuses in on the knives, he's not leaving without them.
