Please double check that this is a Core character.

Holding off on posting until I know if the fighter I want to play is available. Unfortunately, I'm stuck in another PBP with a GM who only posts once or twice per week, despite claiming up front that he would post daily and only wants players who usually do the same. I do have a backup PC I could bring instead, but I'd rather not, because I'm trying to level up the fighter.
My only two Core PCs are both level 2, though, so I'll affect average party level calculations the same way with either of them.
Just to let you know, I've both played and GMed this scenario in classic mode earlier this year, so I know it fairly well. I'll let everyone else do the decision making.

I understand Fromper, it's just easier to make sure everyone is able to see new posts and ready to get going when gameday hits, you don't need to pick a particular PC yet if you can't.

Player Name: Wydroe
Character Name: Farlen Mizzul
PFS#: 165069-12
Faction: Grand Lodge
Day Job: Craft (Jewelry): 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (1) + 8 = 9
Farlen is a core wizard 1 with 2 scenarios under his belt.

![]() |

Thank you Fromper, I had not gotten around to checking any PC's yet.
Lynn, Fromper is correct, Kitsune is not Core Legal and from looking at your other games, they were played in Classic Campaign, not core, so even if you were a Human, that would disqualify you from Core play.
You may create a new Core PC for this Scenario if you'd like, but you can not play using Lynn. Please let me know how you would like to proceed.

![]() |

Oh.. so it's not a PFS game.. *taps the table silently* Well.. it looks like i... have made a mistake. You can free up the slot. Thanks for letting me know before we got started that would have been a massive derp. I thought Core meant core and not unchained btw if you were wondering my thought process on the matter.

![]() |

It is a PFS game. Pathfinder Society has two different campaigns, the regular Classic Campaign which includes all the material Paizo has printed, and the Core Campaign, which only allows things from the Core Rulebook unless it appears on a chronicle sheet.

Just keeping my seat warm by checking in... I am also wondering if Lynn Kuro will make a core character and join again.
I am excited as I don't often get to use Farlen. No one plays core near me. He is strictly a PBP character.

Hey All!
Character Name: Darak
Player Name: Sethran
Character Number: 34762-22
Dayjob: Profession Soldier: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (3) + 7 = 10
Level 1 and unlikely to change by August as i don't get to play CORE out of PBP ^^.

Jeff cook
Arboreal
9251-23
Faction Dark Archive
Day job tree wannabe ( only pays sunlight- on a good day)

![]() |

We are 6 then and set (minus Fromper's final decision as to which level 2 character to use).
I see:
Farlen wizard 1
Darak fighter 1
Arboreal wizard 1, druid 3
Iago fighter 3
Fromper unknown 2
Otha ranger 2
Healing? Melee? Range? Traps? Locks?
Farlen has a wand of magic missiles and acid darts for range. In melee he has only daggers. He can't heal, can't help much with spotting traps and has no lock picking ability.

Iago would like to purchase some things before we leave. A Wayfinder for 2PP, a darkwood shield for 257 gp and a lesser blade of the open road for 2515 gp.

![]() |

Checking in to let you guys know I have finally received the copy of the Scenario from Paizo support. Just need to get the maps and everything set up and a few other things, then we'll be all set for gameday. Glad a few of you have taken to some roleplaying in the mean time.
Iago, purchases have been noted.
Fromper any word yet on what PC you might be bringing?

![]() |

Arboreal has been shopping and has bought a pearl of power 2nd level (4000gp) and a 13 charge wand of pox postules
Also 2PP for a fresh Cure light wounds wand The last one is all but exhausted from the last trip

We have just about a week until Gameday starts. If you all could click on where it says Segang Expedition under my header and follow the instructions on the first slide before next Friday I would greatly appreciate it.
Thank you, looking forward to getting this started.
Purchases have been noted.

![]() |

Friendly reminder since no one has done it yet, please have the instructions on the first slide completed by the 25th, thank you.

![]() |

There you go! Sorry I didn't do it earlier, I was at GenCon.

![]() |

As long as we can finish the Scenario before the end of Session 1 we count for Gameday so we can start a few days late. Let's shoot for starting on Monday, and just keep me posted if you think you need a little more time though I wont want to start more than a week late, we can cross that bridge when we come to it.
If you're both done before then, we'll start as soon as you're available.

![]() |

My GM for the other adventure sped things up the last few days to finish in time for the game day, since he knew a few of us were hoping to use those PCs. So I'll be able to bring my first choice, which is this guy.
Player Name: Fromper
Character Name: Groosalugg the Brave and Undefeated
PFS #: 38137-21
Faction: Grand Lodge
Day Job: Nope
Groo is primarily a javelin thrower, but he can switch hit if he's needed on the front line.
For marching order, I put myself in the back, since I can provide rear guard with decent AC, and throw javelins towards the front. I'd be fine anywhere, though.

![]() |

Alright so gameplay wise we're still waiting to see if Gardol can make it. As I said earlier, please let me know by Monday if you think you still need another day or two.
@Arboreal: Thank you for putting yourself in marching order, I still need you to add your perception and initiative bonuses in where requested.

![]() |

Still in the final fight...GM used an alternate Wounded Wisp ending, since all of us had played it before, final encounter is some very strange creature...we 'killed' it last night but it's regenerating...now we're trying acid...hopefully done today...

![]() |

Alright. I'll have the introduction post up tonight after I get home from work (Around 7ish EST), but we won't move into any of the official scenario stuff until Gardol confirms that Wounded Wisp has ended.

![]() |

As it's a holiday I'm going to allow Groos and Darak a little more time before I bot them.

![]() |

Note I was looking at the map from work and accidentally deleted the purple enemy, it is still present however and just to the left of the green one.

![]() |

We're coming up on the end here. I need everyone to roll a d20, no modifiers, for a chance at Gameday boons.

![]() |

Boon!!: 1d20 ⇒ 8
