Garekk didn't level, and I have a bad habit of hoarding all my gold until like lvl 4, so nope.. were good here.

Hey all, it's been a killer weekend and I'm beat. I'm not going to be able to get a proper post out tonight yet, but I will return to the game tomorrow. Thanks for understanding; please don't let me hold up any action.
Thanks!
GM Turmoil |
Just a heads up that posting may be spotty over the next week. My wife is set to be induced on Thursday which means I'll be at the hospital for a couple days. There is a chance I'll be sitting there in the hospital for a long time though, so I may get a post or two in. But after that, I'm sure we will have our hands full with the newborn. And of course it's the holiday weekend so everyone will be pretty busy anyways.

Congratulations!

I expect that the baby's name will be Golarion-derived. We will help you come up with a creative yet believable explanation for why "Pharasma" doesn't come from that silly D&D-like game that you play with friends.
We got your back.
Congrats. ;)

Just for everyone's info, I'll be travelling tomorrow until Sunday, I still have mobile access and the hotel should have wifi so I intend to update daily as per normal

We are about to wrap this one up after this last interaction. I hope you enjoyed this scenario, I always thought it was one of the better ones I have played. I rather enjoy when you can talk your way out of combats and avoid fighting all the way through. Feel free to provide any feedback on my GMing or questions you may have had.
On a separate note, with this game ending and my other two close to the end as well, I'm looking to start up another game or two. Does anyone have any requests for a particular scenario you would like to play? This has been one of my most enjoyable groups to GM for and I would love to have any of you in my future games.
Kelumur |
I don't have any day jobs, but I've wanted to forgo downtime to complete faction goals, forgot to do it in the last scenario. Using stealth to save a bunch of slaves, Dc20. Looks like I failed to save anyone.
stealth: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (3) + 8 = 11
stealth: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (3) + 8 = 11
Also been a very enjoyable group for me to play with! And will gladly play any scenario.
Garekk |
Garekk does not yet have a day job.
I would love to continue to play with this group.. Unfortunately I am stretched really thin right now and will be GM'ing for the special starting next week. I don't want yall to have to wait until that's over.. but if you need an extra, don't hesitate to give me a yell. I like the group and I like the GM.. I have had a great time with yall. I think we meshed pretty well overall!!
Xuan Fung |
Yes, I've enjoyed this tremendously. Now it's on my to-GM list. :)
And yes, would love to play another scenario or three. Haven't played most so no real preferences. But I might bring another character instead, depending.
dayjob, prof(herbalism): 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (18) + 7 = 25

I will try to have the scenarios up sometime this weekend. For scenario reporting, it goes down that you turned the packet into the Society, but that the Liberty's Edge member among you did not agree with that decision. Supposedly, this will play into future scenarios, though I'm not aware of it impacting any yet. I'm also curious to hear from any of you what your thoughts are on this one compared to Black Waters.
As for my next game, I'm thinking I will run #6-15 The Overflow Archives. Anyone of you that wants to join that will get first dibs on a slot. I played it a few months ago and my local store and had a lot of fun. It has some pretty unique interactions and isn't just a typical dungeon crawl.
@ Mun: You had a day job roll for the first scenario, do you plan on doing one for this as well?
Kelumur |
I played overflow archives at my local and am hosting a session right now! Hopefully I can join after that session
Garekk |
Mun of Ashava |
No, I won't have a Day Job roll. I did a minor rebuild when I advanced Mūn to level 2, and he no longer has ranks in a Day Job skill.
I do wonder, however, if anything from this scenario met the requirements of either of these goals from the Silver Crusade Faction Card:
- Defeat an outsider that has the evil subtype, an evil-aligned creature with the elemental subtype, or an undead creature whose CR is at least equal to your character level.
- Defeat a divine spellcaster whose patron is an evil deity and whose Challenge Rating is at least equal to your character level.

I'm playing Overflow Archives right now. In fact, am in Kelumur's game. :)

HERE are the chronicles. Let me know if anything needs to get corrected.
As for my next game, I've actually settled on #6-05 Slave Ships of Absalom. I been volunteered to run Overflow Archives for a local group here so I wanted to run something different online. Again, you are all welcome to join if you have interest.
Xuan Fung |
That one I haven't played. Would love to play.
Garekk |
I have mine, and it looks great. Once again, Thank you so much (everyone!) for an awesome game. I look forward to seeing you around the boards!!
Kelumur |
Did someone say slaves? Count me in!
Yes, very good game! Had lots of fun, I enjoyed that was not all a dungeon crawl and had a fair balance of social bits.
The game can still be lots of fun in pbp, but some of the fragments are unactivated, reading them aloud causes them to activate summoning the monster. It works better in real life as players tend to read aloud the text to each other and boom, surprise! You summoned a monster. But pbp pcs don't read the text 'aloud'.
Mun of Ashava |
I'd love to join you for Slave Ships. I won't bring Mun to that one, though; I have some other level 1 characters that I'll choose from (probably someone in Liberty's Edge would be appropriate!).
Do you have a link?
I can't review the chronicle until later tonight; I'll let you know if anything needs revision.
Thanks!
