            Round the second.
Quivering with rage and salivating around the jagged edges of his dentition, Vojtek snaps his jaws menacingly then steps toward the wolf. He slashes wildly with his blade, and dodges the creature's wounded flailings to deliver a wicked bite to the beast on the side of its face.

Round 3
The time for throwing weapons has come and gone. The rogue draws his short sword as he 5' steps to the left and flanks with Ali against the orange guard.
Kappi's blade work is still pretty basic, keeping things simple he starts his attack high then deceptively quick he drops the point into a low line thrust...

A bit further down the road, with the shantytowns outside of Whitethrone coming into view, a small stream cuts across the path, winding its way toward the clear shores of Glacier Lake. A stone bridge crosses this rill, apparently constructed with horse and wagon or caravan traffic in mind. Snow has been cleared from its span; the bridge is clearly well-maintained. Four foot high stone railings run along both sides of the bridge, topped at either end by iron spikes, upon which clean and meticulously polished humanoid skulls have been carefully impaled and turned as if to observe traffic.
A white painted signpost greets travelers; written in Skald, Hallit, and Common, it advises foreign merchants that Whitethrone requires licenses to do business in the city and that all cargo is subject to inspection at the city gates.

Nadya opens her mouth to answer Edward when suddenly a trio of large bipeds with pale green scales for skin and meaty webbed hands and feet clamber out from beneath the bridge.
The largest steps to the middle of the bridge and, in broken and accented Common, holds her hand out and shouts Papers, please!

Pretty much back with the exception of a double header IRL game on the 30th.
Before approaching, Davosh will cast both Mage Armor and Guidance.
Local: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (17) + 12 = 29
Davosh shares the details of the spoilers, then adds that he once heard of a type of stew called Merrow marrow. (It's not very good.)
Knowing that Edward won't lie, and that this isn't going to go well, he keeps Liska close.

Edward detects evil among the three. If he feels some, he will cast a meaningful look at Ali and Kappi. He will also take a moment to establish Life link with Vojtek.
Edward takes a little step forward raising his hands in a peaceful manner. In a whisper to Davosh. I hope this gambit works
Mr Merrow. I would be glad to present papers to you, but in accordance with the Posted rules that you are enforcing, I must decline to show them to you.
As you can obviously see we are not merchants, nor are we foreign (he points to Nadya). So in accordance with your sign we can pass without challenge.

The three merrows look uneasily at one another; they don't seem to understand everything Edward says, but obviously get some of it.
