Davosh cackles wildly, maintaining the Evil Eye.
Then he speaks something unintelligible and shoots a snot rocket at the new threats.

I have something else in mind if the GM says there aren't enough anchors.

ROUND 2
Ali drops her wand, then casts a spell. Her hand flares in fire and as she moves to help Kappi that flaming hand draws her blade, and the flames light the steel up. She then takes a swing at the flanked Bad Guy
Free action: drop item. Standard action: cast spell. Move and draw. Attack is part of casting action
attack: 1d20 + 2 + 5 ⇒ (15) + 2 + 5 = 22
damage: 1d10 + 3 + 1d6 ⇒ (2) + 3 + (2) = 7 <--target may Catch Fire

V DC 18 Refl: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (2) + 4 = 6
All three are snotted!
Ali steps up to flank with Red. Her flaming blade sends him collapsing to the floor, where he promptly ignites in flame (cos why not?)!

VOJTEK, ROUND 2
From his prone position, Vojtek swings his greatsword (shortening his swing somewhat--so no power attack), then bites at Red's ankles!! The sword is timed perfectly and arcs up into Red's grundle.
Greatsword: 1d20 + 11 - 4 ⇒ (19) + 11 - 4 = 26 <--THREAT!!
Damage: 2d6 + 11 ⇒ (3, 5) + 11 = 19
Bite: 1d20 + 6 - 4 ⇒ (3) + 6 - 4 = 5
Damage: 1d4 + 4 ⇒ (2) + 4 = 6
Greatsword Confirm: 1d20 + 11 - 4 ⇒ (12) + 11 - 4 = 19
Damage: 2d6 + 11 ⇒ (3, 5) + 11 = 19
If the sword strike is enough to bring the guy down, Vojtek will stand instead of chew on the corpse
Davosh the Wanderer
I think he's prone, so -4 to hit.

Round 3
Edward hops over the barbarians massive swing from the ground and is glad he did seeing as how the blood splatter almost reached Ali. He then takes a short step to the west standing over green and then pauses for a moment wondering if he wants to get his fine blade dirty with Davosh's snot. The decision made, he slashes at one of them trapped in the sticky mucous.
MW Longsword: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (1) + 6 = 7 Attack purple or black whichever one is grappled. If both are / are not then purple is my target. Ohhh the sword doesn't like snot either :(
Damage: 1d8 ⇒ 4
GM thunderspirit
Votjek's swing takes out Orange (even if he hadn't confirmed)!
With the rest of the foes incapacitated, I'm gonna call this. Meaning I wasted a natural Jeff from Edward. :-)
The thugs are quick to surrender and plead for their lives, while the old fisherman is grateful to, if wary of, his rescue team.
Davosh the Wanderer
Natural Jeff! Huzzah! I mean boo!
Davosh lets Edward handle the rescue bits. Davosh meanwhile goes over to the one he Evil Eyed. "What's the meaning of this BOY?!" He then cackles, as in CACKLES. "Looks like the tables are turned. This man is going to shake you down instead!MWHAHAHAHA!"
Kappi Matarito
With Vojtek serving as a grim enforcer, the skinny youth moves up and disarms and searches each thug. Weapons, loot, and anything else. Puts it in a pile on top of one of the barrels.
GM thunderspirit
Each is carrying a pouch with 20 gold coins, and the hide armor they wear appears to be well made (masterwork). They all have mundane ogre hooks, and Red has a cold iron dagger as well.
The still-breathing thugs appear frightened of your party.
Davosh the Wanderer
Someone tracking treasure?
Davosh will go talk to the old man, even though that's totally not what he's good at. "What did you do to pick a fight with these guys? Weird for them to use ogrehooks, was that a gang? Did we just get you in trouble? Are we going to have to fight an organized group of opportunistic thugs?"

Super busy at work today. Worked through most of my lunch. So sorry for lack of any prose. I will just include a roll to diplomify to get information from the thugs. Hope for an assist and or a guidance added on
Diplomacy: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (8) + 11 = 19
Davosh the Wanderer
RE: cold iron. Davosh is going to use weapons with decreasing frequency. That being said, having a light weapon for when a monster swallows you whole is ALWAYS a good idea. Davosh will hold on to it.

Indeed. Noted on my AND TREASURE!! spoiler. Please review it for goodies to NOT sell!!
GM thunderspirit
Hey, look! Internet! -_-
Davosh will go talk to the old man, even though that's totally not what he's good at. "What did you do to pick a fight with these guys? Weird for them to use ogrehooks, was that a gang? Did we just get you in trouble? Are we going to have to fight an organized group of opportunistic thugs?"
The old man looks curiously at the warlock. Pick a fight? I couldn't pay their tax and they knocked me to the ground!
A few locals move forward hesitantly to corroborate the fisherman's tale. Old Dmitri is correct, says one.
Another nods in agreement, adding, Tis true. The Fishcamp Guards have been extorting all of us for extra monies for some time know. Almost wish we'd listened to Ringeirr last week when he said we should overthrow them while Whitethrone's distracted. Hmpf. Crazy coot might've had a point.
Davosh the Wanderer
Davosh looks at the man and nods slowly. haha this is our chance. We'll scratch their backs, and they'll help us fight an impossibly difficult battle!
The warlock holds up his index finger, then turns and grabs Edward by the shoulders and practically shoves him at the man.
"ancients be with you!" guidance spell.

Good folks I agree with Ringeirr. Lets remove these thugs from your lives. Let my friends and I assist you in this task, help us return Ringeirr here to you, and here to his Niece. Edward points to Nadya.
Whitethrone doesn't care about these thugs. Help us help you! Help us help you. Help us help you.
Diplomacy+Guidance: 1d20 + 11 + 1 ⇒ (20) + 11 + 1 = 32
GM thunderspirit
Edward's speech heartens the townsfolk, who are rallied from their despair and consider taking the fight to the Fishcamp Guards and their leader, Marcian Enarxion.
The braver people tell you that Enarxion ordered Ringeirr arrested for trying to organize the peasants into some semblance of a force to fight back. They are uill-equipped to stand against the Guards themselves, especially with Enarxion's bodyguars — "two massive, ugly, bundles of muscle and hair: Borger and Whunk."
A pair of courageous souls guide you to the dilapidated shack that serves as the Fishcamp Guardhouse. The windows on the large, ugly, unpainted building are boarded shut, and the construction is haphazard. The word "guardhouse" along with a crude symbol of shield crossed by a hook, is painted unaesthetically on the building's only visible door.
Davosh the Wanderer
Davosh, nonplussed at all this tells everyone that he's going shopping. Then once he realizes that this is the current "thing to do" returns to the task at hand.
Local: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (18) + 12 = 30
"Sounds to me like ogres! Big dumb, stupid and big!" The warlock looks about before setting his normal eye on Kappi. "MY boy, can you check for windows? I'd just as soon cough up a spider swarm into the window and let them come running out into a Vojtek! HAHA!"
Kappi Matarito
The Varisian lad nods at Davosh's request but says nothing. He re-ties his head scarve then slips away all stealthy like to get a quick scout at the guard shack. Kappi looks for someone on watch. If he thinks he can sneak right up to the building he will. Checking for any traps on th approach. Windows, can Davosh vomit spiders inside? Any other important info...
Perception 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (4) + 11 = 15
Stealth 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (9) + 12 = 21
GM thunderspirit
The windows on the large, ugly, unpainted building are boarded shut. Kappi can see a chimney on the northeast corner, though dark smoke consistently pours from it. He sees no traps visible on the grounds outside the shack nor on the building itself.
The party's approach has elicited no response at all from the shack, although the local guides made themselves scarce as soon as they pointed out which building was the guardhouse. Kappi returns and motions everyone forward after relaying what he has found.
Davosh the Wanderer
We should just burn the place down...
Davosh backs up and takes in Kappi's report like he's some grand Taldan General. "Vojtek should knock, then back up. I'll shoot the first one to come out with a look that'll make'em think twice. Let's show these oafs what happens when they pick on people."
Davosh the Wanderer
Vojtek is super busy. We should just assume he agrees to the plan.
Davosh the Wanderer
at the risk of pulling a "Brightstone" I hereby declare this to be the plan:
Edward gives Voytek a leg up to the roof. He then drops a smokestick inside and layes his cloak over to make it smoke inside. Meanwhile Ali and Vojtek stand back 5' from the door to strike while they're still squeezing out. Edward stands back 15' for support. Davosh prepares a spell from 25' and Liska stands with Vojtek.
Make it so, Number One.

Round 1
First, the rogue does not scuttle back to the ground. He perches on the eave like some sort of scarve head gargoyle. He squats with knees wide and arms between, his sh sword held in a reverse grip.
The rogue waits for the third person to step out the door then he ambushes dropping down on them sword point first...

As the first ogre lumbers out of the door, squeezing through the Medium-sized door, Vojtek lashes out and his blade digs deep into the giant's side! He howls in pain and anger just long enough for Kappi to drop his short sword into the ogre's skull!
Kappi's sharp eyes see a second ogre groping about inside; he does not appear to have noticed what has happened outside yet...
Edward, Ali, Davosh up!
Davosh the Wanderer
Davosh looks at the ogre. He squints the good eye and points a finger. An inky black ray shoots forth. Ranged Touch: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (20) + 4 = 24 for a strength penalty of 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (5) + 1 = 6
