Endless here!
So this is my first attempt at playing a summoner and I decided to play a race that has negative Cha for some reason. I have a feeling that he will be a slow build and may suffer through the first few levels. But eventually I'm planning for him and the eidolon to take Tandem Trip and Paired Opportunists to be tripping buddies. Not quite sure how to use him until then since he'll suck at melee and won't be a great caster with Cha 14.
Anyways, I've really been wanting to try him out so here we go!

Same here. This is Tyranius. I have to hold off on Quint as I am GM'ing a Thornkeep that will go to him.

I thought you could apply credit to characters even if they are otherwise occupied if it is GM credit. Wasn't the only restriction not playing in real life and online with the same character at the same time?

![]() |

Stag is right. As long as you aren't playing that character in more than one game, you can play them in a game and then let some GM credit accumulate while they play. You just have to wait until they are finished playing in their game to apply it, otherwise you'd suddenly gain gold and XP in the middle of a game.

![]() |

Yes you can but he is one scenario away from level 2 and I have already applied that replayable scenario to a level 2 so I have to keep Quint at level 1 for a short period.

"Doesn't our position in the Society grant us some authority here?" Djezet asks gruffly.
I'm moving this here because I'm genuinely not sure as a player (and I didn't mean for it to be a reaction to Djezet's words).
Does the Society have any kind of authority in a situation like this? I didn't think that it would, but would instead have to work with the Church of Abadar in a situation like this ... hence my pandering approach to the cleric.
EDIT: to clarify ... my understanding is that it's a private organization that is just really well funded and connected.

![]() |

No, they probably wouldn't. I was trying to justify his bad diplomacy roll with some overplaying of the Society's hand.

![]() |

Lol, just for the record, we are the worst adventuring party ever put together! Have we made any relevant roll to give us any clues in this whole scenario, lol? The Society will never let us all together again.

Last year we got The Confirmation. I shall dub this scenario The Rejection.

Still not nearly as bad as my paladin who trusted and let a cleric of Lamashtu take the body of a pathfinder we were sent to retrieve. I kept rolling 1 and 2 sense motive so I thought he was a swell guy there to help us. :(

This scenario is great fun. Carlyle (my throwing knife experiment) ran through this and had a blast. (@EF: With Reyn as the GM)
Taking a back seat mostly to let everyone else experience this in its finest. Plus, who doesn't love a cannibal eating fried chicken. (Blame Tektite for Stag's cannibalism)

I will be at a small PFS / gaming convention on Sat. So I will have a hard time posting anything that day.

Awesome, Tek!
The worst party in the world managed to finish the job! I am surprised we made it through, lol.
Thanks so much for running this one for us, DM! Had a great time.

Thanks for the run! Was fun!
