This is a game for Outpost VIII
This is a playtest game, you really, being a high level game, plus the fact this game is in playtest, it is possible for character death or a TPK, ie the gamemakers don't estimate the game balance right. But I really can't report you as dead in a playtest game. If that happens, just roll up a new character with starting gold for your level. Preferably a new class or at least new subclass.
Help me playtest it, make sure to give feedback at the end if you thought game was balanced, or maybe you or the enemy had unlucky/lucky rolls, or it was TPK one time cause you guys didn't coordinate right, etc.


I have had a character go down a couple of times in playtests. I am focusing on seeing how I can make the class work.

Should we make accounts in Starfinder for our character, or just play with our default accounts for identification?

So, coming up with a fourth character. What classes do we have? Ray is an operative.


K'zish is an Elemental connection Mystic. I've fed character sheet details into the forum character description fields, so you should be able to click through and get a fairly complete picture of what they can bring to the table and what they can't.

So we have soldier, operative, Mystic right now. Setting up a whole spell list for a witch warper at this level might be a lot for a 4th characterz so I would think maybe envoy or solarian?


Who wants to lead on the Piloting roll? Ray has +24.


I saw Ray's 24, and that it was well above K'zish's +20, which is why I went to Aid.

So, to try to get something usable together, I took a higher level version of Navasi someone had thrown together for their Wheel of Monsters runs, put it into Hephaistos, and ran her up to 15th level. What I ended up with is in a google drive HERE

If that looks alright to people, I can try to also put it into a forum character description for better reference in the next couple of days.

Alright, if you have the 4th together roll the skill checks for the 4th, nothing really bad happens on a crit failure, so you might as well try.

Given no response, I'll go ahead and make the requested perception roll for that envoy, as well.

But if she's gonna be here, people need to make a daily prep decision about an envoy ability.

I am honestly confused with the slides you mean. I must be blind, because I'm not seeing a link for slides anywhere around this campaign, under campaign description or in either the gameplay or discussion threads. Where is it?

Side note: if anybody didn't get A Cosmic Birthday, I am trying to put together a group for a PBP. I have two players so far. Let me know if you are interested.


I think that bonus shot should be a 41 to hit. You don't keep MAP outside of your own turn (with Readied actions being the one exception). And the damage should be 6 higher, from the bonus from Get'Em with Lead by Example triggered.


If the robot is 34AC is that before or after the -1 Circumstance penalty to AC from Get 'Em? Want to confirm since Ray's other shot was a 33, exactly.

The Get 'Em effect would still be in effect for that next turn of Ray's, as well, so there should be a +6 Circumstance bonus to that laser pistol hit, as well.

@Hammerjack, mentioning that, that turns a hit into a crit, a miss into a hit and I missed the crit reaction, that robot might have been dead before he got his turn. I’ll see I’m a minute.
