The group did agree that everything looted from the armory would go back to the Garrison unless someone claimed it for his/herself. Irabeth grabbed the +1 blinding shield for herself. Everything else is fair game.
And yeah, Nilus has repeatedly warned me that the game can get too easy post-Mythic, so I'll try to be as punishing as possible. :D

Sarkast - cold iron weapons are not in short supply here. You can find cold iron shortspears without issue.

Dejik |

The arrow of evil outsider slaying did not get used. Lam and Dejik went through about 5 arrows of demon bane (though I'm not sure if the missed shots were recoverable) and several cold iron arrows.
As far as the gear, we definitely were not going to sell any of the gear we recovered from the secret room at the garrison. Dejik assumed we would just turn it over to the people at Defender's Heart or let Irabeth deal with it, since (I think) she's the ranking paladin of Iomedae in the city. Putting it back in a secret room when the city could use the help seems almost as bad as selling it.
Any gear from the cultists that wasn't defiled can be sold, but the unholy water and such I think were going to be destroyed.

Actually, the question was whether any are masterwork (and potentially even magic, though I lack the cash for that at the moment).

Dejik |

And after spending that last fight blocked from helping Ronan, Dejik spends some of her free time practicing using her healing magic from across the room.
Bonus feat: Reach spell
New HP total is 57
+2 to Spellcraft (+11)

GM SpiderBeard |

Masterwork is available. And according to my secret rolls, Dejik recovered three arrows of the five she ifred.

Just to make sure I'm understanding the "lead the army" directive correctly:
Is it important that specifically one of the group lead the army, so that we can allay any doubts about our loyalty? Or does it only matter that we all go along on the mission, regardless of who's leading the army?
It seems like the general feeling in the group is to have Irabeth lead the group, since she's been a commander already, but I'm not sure if that actually fulfills the directive.
If it must be one of the group, then I think Nilus is the obvious choice, assuming Nilus is actually willing to do it.
And side note:
Is Irabeth's loyalty in question also, since she was with us when we destroyed the Wardstone?

GM SpiderBeard |

- The group has been given an army and an important mission because the Queen believes you have been directly blessed by Iomedae and thus should be placed in a position of high visibility and authority.
- This is the first you've heard that you may not be popular with everyone in the crusades or that you're even famous. So you're unsure if this attitude extends to Irabeth. It's not the primary reason for the Queen assigning you this mission, but is part of her reasoning.
- The group has ultimate authority over the army, and is expected to appoint a commander who is answerable to them. The commander does not have to be in the group. Irabeth is a natural fit, and a high-charisma character like Nilus works well too.

Nilus Romani |

Nilus isn't a general, in fact....he'd rather not even be a warrior. He'll defer to Irabeth.

Dejik |

Dejik's a (former) soldier, but not a commander. If Irabeth can't or won't lead the army, Dejik will. (She has an 18 charisma and is technically still a paladin of Iomedae, even if she's currently having an identity crisis.)

GM SpiderBeard |

The Righteous Medals are magical items, they give minor bonuses and must be worn on the clothing (anywhere, doesn't have to be visibly) to give their bonus. You may be awarded more in the future. There's an additional bonus for collecting all six. The bonus is a sacred bonus. In addition, every medal lets you use a swift action once per day to increase that bonus by +2 for one minute.
Agility: +1 bonus to initiative. Awarded for killing a demon before it acts.
Clarity: +2 save vs insanity/confusion. Awarded for recovering vital intelligence.
Command: +2 save vs emotion-based effects. Awarded for redeeming someone.
Spirit: +2 saves vs charm/possession. Awarded for recovering from being possessed or charmed by a demon.
Valor: +2 CMD. Awarded for a death below versus a demon with a high CR (Nilus seems to hold the world record on killing blows).
Vigor: +2 saves vs death effects. Awarded for being reduced to negative hit points and recovering before the battle is over.

Nilus Romani |

Hey guys,
I'll admit freely that I haven't kept up with loot at all but I was looking at Nilus' sheet and noticed that he has 1565GP listed. Is that accurate or some mistake?
If so, I think Nilus will pay for an armor upgrade and perhaps a Wand of CLW if one is available.

Nilus Romani |

GM, is it safe to say that Nilus can either find someone to enchant his MWK Platemail or buy a suit of +1 Platemail?
Also, Nilus will look for a MWK Cold Iron Longsword and a Wand of CLW

(Belatedly) Thanks so much for the work on the journal Ayesha, it's awesome!
I've updated with a crude hex map of the ford. Also, I get that the great armies thing may be a poor fit for your character types and will stop the "What do we do next, commanders?" questions and let the NPCs do their thing while I move the game towards the stuff you guys like.

Appreciated! None of us really expected to have that sort of game, so we didn't really build "leader" characters. ;-)

Nilus Romani |

Well, to be fair. I knew what the AP had since I'm running it...but I guess I've made Nilus out to be less of a general type and more of a peacemaker. Irabeth really makes a better general than Nilus.

Viroleth Sastan |

Hey I'm computerless from this evening until Saturday so expect few if any updates after this afternoon.

Dejik |

Oh, phew! I was afraid I was the only one who mixed up aliases when posting. :-)

Ayesha Jalal |

We're fine. Got a little chilly int the house, but that's what blankets and coats are for. Besides, we got to make a snowman

Nilus Romani |

Gosh darn it, I could have used this to get us free of that Hold Person spell
Clarifying Channel: Once per day when you channel positive energy to heal living creatures, if any of the creatures you healed are currently affected by one or more charms or compulsions that allowed a saving throw, you grant each of those creatures an immediate save to prematurely end one of those effects. Creatures healed gain a sacred bonus on this save equal to your Charisma bonus (minimum +1).

Dejik |

I'm following the discussion, but Dejik has nothing to say, really.

GM SpiderBeard |

No worries, I'll let this post hang for the day in case the others care to commment since there are some potential revelations to make. If there's nothing we'll get to the dungeon tomorrow.

Sarkast |

Whew! That makes three weekends in a row that some group from our area was working a con (though I myself only worked the third). We're all ready for a break now.

Dejik |

Nilus, when we had our daughter, the best advice we got was "learn how to do everything one-handed". Congratulations!

Nilus Romani |

Thanks! This isn't our first, we have a 4 year old too. She is all amped up about a baby brother.

Questions as we start the midnight combat:
1. Is the negative level still in effect, and/or should we do the save vs permanency now?
2. Likewise, are daily uses (such as mythic points) still on "yesterday's" counter, or have they recharged?[/ooc]
3. I need a ruling on a mythic ability:
Fleet Charge (Ex): As a swift action, you can expend one use of mythic power to move up to your speed. At any point during this movement, you can make a single melee or ranged attack at your highest attack bonus, adding your tier to the attack roll. This is in addition to any other attacks you make this round. Damage from this attack bypasses all damage reduction.
How is this affected by being prone? Does it give me a free "stand up?" Do I end prone? Do I take prone penalties? Can I just not do it when starting prone?

GM SpiderBeard |

1. It is still in effect. My thought is you save at the start of the new day. That said, this is a temporary negative level, not permanent level drain. So you can make a new save every day until the negative level is gone.
2. Same deal - you're still on the same day as you've only been asleep a couple of hours.
3. You are not prone right now - everyone is outside of their tent having grabbed weapons or whatnot. That said, you could stand from prone and do fleet charge. My reading is that the movement AND the attack are all on the same swift action.
