Okay folks, I'm back with enough sleep to return to the action and be back on a regular posting routine. A few things to start.
1) Nerak, you can request permission to access the map from viewing it. Or PM me your gmail account and I'll try to add you manually.
2) SkaTalon: RePete is correct, it is a move action. Or, with a sufficiently narratively awesome action, quicker than that. We'll handle that as it comes up.
3) Elery: Been a few times when I've not quite understood your action economy. Please try and have a little more clarity in posting; ie adding if a feat allows you to do an exception to the rules in the post itself, using the AoO when flat-footed as an example.
Hope everyone had a great weekend. I know I did. Especially when I found out that I could re-do my owlbear animal companion using a grizzly bear stats without loosing my boon. Also, the con made more money this year than any year previous, so we should be able to incorporate this year. Good things are happening. I'll post in the gameplay thread after I put the kids to bed.

Elery Deverin |

No problem. I think thats the only bit of shtick Elery has, she gets 3 aoos a round and can enlarge as a swift action, and can take aoos while flatfooted.
Should I post a reminder in my classes line? Its going to come up in pretty much every combat so I don't really want to post it every time.

It wouldn't hurt to put it in the class line. You'll only really need it for the first two books or so. After that, it becomes much less of a thing. And I'm not going to explain that if you don't already know.

The is a sort of curved arrow pointing to the left which is an undo command in the bar atop the map Nerak. To move you should see a cross icon with arrows on the end of each point, if its just a line with an arrow on either end that alters the size of your avatar. Basically make sure you click on the centre of your token rather than the edges.

LOL "Twice!"
Apologies for the slow posting, took a bunch of extra shifts and overextended myself a bit :p

RePete |

Oh, I don't expect you to stop fighting. I'm just hoping you all don't kill them man.
After all, it could be stated he is simply protecting his property from invasive brutes... Currently, we have no evidence he's involved in any way. Add to that, we walked in and immediately killed several humanoids (goblins). :-P

Agreed, Cavenn is more concerned about the caster at this point. It certainly looks suspicious after the note, the goblins, etc. And where is the father?
Also, unless I'm missing something, was Harness able to double move and attack at the same time?

We did see the corpses of glassworks workers though right? Or am I misrecalling, sick and cannot be bothered to check back through posts.

Zamdoc |

I took a loot at all the posts made by the GM, and I didn't see any mention of corpses.
To be quite honest, I'm at a loss both IC and OOC. I expected things to go very differently, but this is being such a rush without a care (Mainly because Elery is just rushing all over the place) about nothing around that I'm honestly not enjoying this part of the story. I feel like we missed a lot of things of the adventure already, and that Eydor would probably not go again even near Elery as she is so reckless that borders suicide. I don't even know if he would like to stay.
Personally (OOC), I guess I'm not enjoying this part because everyone is just getting dragged without a say about what they want to do (I can only speak for myself, in any way) and just... Running to smash everything on sight.
Anyways, I guess I'll see what happens from now on.

I just think Cavenn (in character) sees Elery as reckless and childish at this point and it is something he wants to address with the group after the current situation is resolved.
OOC, I'm fine with it because it has added an element to the roleplay (if that was Elery's intent) aspect. I can see why Zamdoc is frustrated though, it could be construed as one player making all the decisions for the entire group. My vote would be to address it in a roleplay scenario after we are finished in here (or after the Glassworks in its entirety) and then see if we can find some more common ground in the discussion if we deem it necessary.

GM Sphen |

That is correct about the corpses. There are none to be seen. Don't take this the wrong way, but you guys have done what adventuring parties do. You took authority upon yourselves and take any excuse to solve problems with violence. True, Tsuto did attack first, but you folks broke into his place of business and refused to leave (twice). Most would consider that defense of his property and self. Specifically because Tsuto isn't a monster (in the literal sense anyway) or live in ruins. This is a business owned by a citizen, so subject to the town laws. But we'll see how it all plays out.
Again, this is not to meant to be judgmental. I'm as guilty of it as anyone else when I'm a player. (Out of Player Knowledge) Luckily for you guys, you are not going to get arrested for this (probably) since you happen to be correct.

GM Sphen |

Good news everyone. Total party exp just hit 1690. That means level 2! Just so everyone remembers, you get the standard half round up on HP, and don't forget your favored class bonuses.

GM Sphen |

Good question. In the future, you'll need to wait until some sort of rest period. But (spoiler alert), you guys are safe now. So you can level now.

Placeholder of Doom |

I disagree this would be akin to a shop owner inviting a unit from a hostile army into their premises and then attempting to claim privacy rights. Also it isn't Tsuto's business is it? It is his fathers and he just sent a letter we have seen saying his father is dealing with goblins, if that isn't probable cause I don't know what is. There is not a country, real or imaginary, that would allow that. Goblins have just invaded the town, and the Paizo concept of them basically amounts to homicidal maniacs.
Elery sees Ameiko as someone she looks up to and is grateful for her recent kindness and is anxious to save her. If someone is in danger she won't be prepared to wait around without some concrete reason.

Harness |

Regarding the combat: I didn't even think to look at the map, and was under the impression Harness was within a move/attack. Maybe he charged? Sorry, will check map next time!
Regarding morality, personnel and direction: From an outsider's point of view (in that Harness is pretty out of it when it comes to such things) and reading the posts it is clear that:
* Cavenn and Eydor are quite frustrated by Elery's perceived rashness;
* Elery is passionate about saving Ameiko
* Tessa is concerned we are breaking the law
* Harness and Snyk are good at staying out of interpersonal stuff
and none of them are quite "meeting". So we do need to, in character, have a debrief as it were, even though we are in the middle of an "operation".
On a lighter note, I really wanted Harness to take a level in Druid, even though he wouldn't be able to cast any spells (what's a Wisdom?) as he loves nature, finds Tessa intriguing and would dearly love a pet...Is Hunter allowed? Then again, being a hulking deathomaton is compelling so maybe just straight Fighter?

GM Sphen |

To be blunt, you folks illegally entered the premises and found evidence of wrong doing when you did so. Probable cause only counts if you have the authority to back it up. You had a letter to Ameiko, yes, but that didn't say anything about goblins being in the building, just claiming that Ameiko's father had something to do with it. Your group has no legal authority in this situation. You were acting as vigilantes here.
Morality (in my mind) isn't what's in question here. It's legality that is. You guys did the Good thing, just not the Lawful thing. See what I mean?

Oceanshieldwolf |

Someone smarter than Harness might argue that we questioned one of the goblins in town and that led us here. Ot that we were investigating Ameiko's letter and heard goblins inside.
Really, when the Sherriff finds out he's about to entertain 200 raiders replete with quasit, bugbear and demonic allies, where or how the information was gathered may be completely moot.

GM Sphen |

You are out of initiative.
You do level up now.
As for the glassworks.....you guys should feel free to do whatever you wish. I will say, you haven't accomplished what you guys came here to do yet though. Nor have you followed up on the new lead you just got from the journal.

SkaTalon |

@GM: I'm taking Black Market Connections as my rogue talent so we have better access to purchasing magic items. Do you have any qualms/ concerns?

GM Sphen |

You'll just have to remind me. And it won't always come into play if it just straight up doesn't make sense. This is one of the rule sub systems I don't mess around with.

SkaTalon |

How do will we determine what magic items are available for purchase? if not its listed benefit (which is convoluted), what other ways could this rogue talent benefit the party? It just seems fitting for Snyk.
You can also tell me to take something else instead. I don't want to detract from the game or make your job harder.

GM Sphen |

@SkaTalon, you know, I've just always gone for what feels right. Just the way I've done it since before there was a codified system for it. And, of course, I always are on the side of the players. I've mostly not used this system because it means looking up the rules for it every time I've used it since I don't have them memorized, and that slows down the game. But that won't be a problem in a pbp, so I'll just link them in my game notes for easy access and we will go from there.
