Note: "Foxlove" wasn't a typo.
Had me worried. I thought that I had mistyped it.
Updated exp in the campaign info.

Let's say that you all knew someone who was starting a podcast about gaming in general and Pathfinder in particular. What questions would you have for them? What topics would you want discussed?

Placeholder of Doom |

What is the best Adventure Path and why? And what style of play each AP offers. How to improve APs for GMs. Whether to allow certain material, such as Summoners for balance purposes.
What was Paizo smoking when they published the Druidic Herbalism Natural Bond Variant Option? It must be good stuff because I have never seen an ability so designed to snap a game over its knee!

GM Sphen |

What is e6/e8? I googled it and got everything from fútbol to thermal cameras to batteries.
Never mind. Refined my Google search and found it. Capping at 6th level.

Heads up: Just today, I sprained my ankle!
Good news: Even better posting rate
Bad news: Ouch for two weeksNothing serious but it's going to keep me from going outside that long.
Agreed with Placeholder, hope the pain meds are good.

I'd listen to third party content reviews. theres so much of it but its would be nice to know whats the good/the bad/ the balanced etc.
I was going to say this, and more specifically, what are the best plug-ins for a campaign.
Champions of the Firmament for aerial campaigns, Alluria publishing's Cerulean Seas for aquatic/underwater; Path of War and Spheres of Power/Might; or excellent campaign settings like Midgard or Thunderscape.

Nice one. How'd you do it? I sprained one playing indoor soccer that you could apparently hear from the gallery up above...

I somehow managed to touch the ground with my ankle while running full sprint to the bus (And trust me, I do 100m in 12 seconds so I was running real fast). Went to the doctor, they told me I had just a minor injury, nothing severe. Two days on, it doesn't even hurt anymore. Didn't even take a single pain med the first day.

Oceanshieldwolf |

I know that one! Once running for the bus when I was 18 (we had two buses to choose from, that went slightly different directions to get to the same general area, so we would wait in the middle and sprint for the one that came first. A rather large lady and her entourage were walking the other way - I dodged left, she dodged to her right, I dodged right, she dodged to her left. Then we both went for the middle and I caromed into her. Very bad. And embarrassing. and foolish, Luckily I'm very light (helps to run fast!) and no-one was actually hurt.

Sorry this sounds cranky, but tired and irritable, and need sleep so too tired to edit into none grouch mode.
Puzzled about that healing info, knowledge religion should have nothing to do with healing magic, bards and druids can heal just as well as clerics and there is no rules connection - I sometimes flavour clerk s as chosen without formal religious education and that ought not to effect healing magic. 3d6 of channeling, plus the other clerics channels, really ought to heal everyone in the place, unless there was something other than goblins? If the villagers are rocking HP high enough that they need more healing how did they get hurt by goblins?
In character Elery would stay and tend any injured, but I do not really want her doing it when it does not make sense. Unless there was something beyond normal goblins doing somekind of different damage like poison?
The heal rules pretty much mean I would need to have her stay for 8+ hours to be effective which I am not keen on. Just not sure how this all makes sense in Golarion with the info we have, etc.

The K(Religion) is because you are a religious caster and it indicates your training in your (literally) god given abilities. 3d6 of channeling would be enough, but not every part of a role playing game is about roll playing. If you were a bard, it would be K(Arcana) since they're arcane casters and druids are K(Nature).
It's all flavor text.

Actually, for such a case as to see who's more injured and who needs healing the most (All in all, seeing the current condition of a patient) you use the healing skill. It DOESN'T imply an 8 hour treatment. The healing skill has much more uses than simply healing or treating deadly wounds, because that skill implies anatomic knowledge of the human(oid) body.
As an example of what I'm saying, you can use the heal skill to torture someone. So, unless we're playing raw (I hope not, that would mean we're a bunch of idiots who can't put context and sense in a game), the healing skill covers this.
Mental treatment, on the other hand...

Ugh, I was so tempted to Create Water over his head, but I suppose being angry and tamping it down is not a crime.
When I played the early parts of this game previously the DM made Aldern Foxglove smooth as hell, but he is definitely coming across as a real creep here!

GM Sphen |

Hey everyone, time for a status check. We're fresh into the game and I wanted to know how everyone is doing. Does anyone want to make any changes to their characters? Move a skill point? Change a bonus language? In general, how are people doing with the game?

Zamdoc |

Sneaky assassin-types don't function the same at low level as they do higher up. but i'm having fun. Sorry i'm not a huge damage dealer right now.
Don't worry, if I keep having the same luck I had those last combats, you can even sit and eat some popcorn in the meantime while I triple crit our way to victory. Hooray!

GM Sphen |

Happy Easter Everyone!
If you don't celebrate, hope you enjoy thee excuse to eat extra candy.

I suggest we sell the Robe of Bones, not sure the value with two patches gone, but we cannot control the undead.
Robe of Bones
Aura moderate necromancy; CL 6th
Slot body; Price 2,400 gp; Weight 1 lb.
DESCRIPTION
This sinister item functions much like a robe of useful items for the serious necromancer. It appears to be an unremarkable robe, but a character who dons it notes that it is adorned with small embroidered figures representing undead creatures. Only the wearer of the robe can see the embroidery, recognize them for the creatures they become, and detach them. One figure can be detached each round. Detaching a figure causes it to become an actual undead creature (see the list below). The skeleton or zombie is not under the control of the wearer of the robe, but may be subsequently commanded, rebuked, turned, or destroyed. A newly created robe of bones always has two embroidered figures of each of the following undead:
Human skeleton
Wolf skeleton
Heavy horse skeleton
Fast goblin zombie
Tough human zombie
Plague ogre zombie

I'm beginning to realize the difficulty of a rogue who is opposed to stealing. Rogues depend alot on their looted equipment.
Snyk is opposed to grave robbing, but if the robe doesn't seem to be anyone elses property he'll take it. its always good to have a few tricks up his sleeve.
Can patches be thrown before transformation?
Since we're playing with exp, will we get exp for defeating the detached undead?

1) The Patches: Yes. The way I always envisioned it was the wearer would rip off a patch and then throw it to the ground, where it sprout out the appropriate undead. So you could throw it into a group of enemies and let it wreak some havoc as a distraction or something.
2) The EXP: Yes, again. I already added it, but it wasn't much as the skeletons are pretty weak.
3) Fela: I sent a pm to Famfrit yesterday since he's been absent for so long. I checked his profile and he hasn't posted anywhere for almost a week. If he doesn't respond soon, I'll have to replace him. As I'm sure most of you know, this is a common thing in pbp games. The Skulls and Shackles game I'm in has had 3 players drop and be replaced so far, and the story goes on. Hopefully he gets back to me and stays in the game; but if not, I already have backup's in mind form the recruitment thread.

Well it doesn't make much sense to do that in terms of what would our characters do, since using that as training would be... Dangerous, at least, and a total mess at worst. Also, Eydor would NEVER, NEVER do that, since he was alive (And survived the event by hiding in a closet) when a group of flesh golems lost control and destroyed half of the twilight citadel before they could be stopped. Let's say he's not really... Happy, about letting uncontrolled undead happen anywhere. Maybe when he learns a spell or two to control undead, he'll be okay with that, with the proper preparations.
