Farmageddon

Well, despite what I said, the day got away from me. Turn tomorrow, promise.

Oh, I'm well aware you aren't a friend of Robori's in that situation. :-)

Edit: Out of curiosity...since I stepped into the pool during combat...uh...does anything happen to me? (aside from getting wet)

Farmageddon

It's not that I'm not a fan of Robori. It's about real god vs. fake god. Also, Desna has a history of non-dieties try to kill gods and steal there powers. She lost a friend that way, so she's actively not a fan.

As to the pool.....only time will tell. (Or a decent Spellcraft check).

Oh, you don't have to sell me on it. Desna would own Robori handily.

Spellcraft... Gonna need a nap first... Perhaps we can find us one of them lanterns that cast detect magic for us. ;-)

Male Human

Desna would have quite the time finding Robori.

Robori wins.

Unless Desna finds Harness. Then Robori will be in "real" trouble.

Farmageddon

*chuckle* I don't think that not getting into the fight counts as winning. That's just not losing.

Male Human

You can't lose if you don't exist. But you can win if more of your followers say you did than your enemies followers say theirs did. That's theology. And history. And democracy.

Farmageddon

But Robori does actually exist. It's just not a god.

I guess I was confused because earlier you mentioned using our past perception/stealth checks. my mistake.

I swear I'm not cheating with the dice rolls, and I wouldn't even know how to do that. :/

Farmageddon

All I'm going to say is, I thought about rounding their hit points up to 20. Kinda wished I had, but that was an awesome moment for Eydor.

pretty good sword i guess...

Waiting on Harness to make his turn before I make mine. If he moves away after attacking, I can probably finish him off. But I think Snyk and Harness should have it easy considering they are flanking.

Male Human

I only now realise what you mean - it never occurred to me that I could attack and then move. Sorry about that.

No problem, no idea if he'll let you do your move action since you didn't do it yet or anything.

Farmageddon

If this was a close fight, I would allow it. But the chances of anything significant happening to you lot at this point is pretty low. So I'm going to say you missed it this time. And it will take its turn when I get home from work.

Prepare .

Male Human

That must be the most unnecessarily complicated turn of events Snyk and Harness have ever undertaken. Harness could have clobbered it dead with his roll, and Snyk may not even hit the thing.

If you don't know what you are doing, it is highly likely your opponent won't either..."

From the catechism of Harness the Wise, disciple of Robori

Would you rather I throw a jar of pickles again? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Farmageddon

OSW, also the unofficial military strategy for the USA during WWII

Just a heads up oh wise and mighty GM...I am fleeing the state for somewhere with much less reliable connections October 13th. I'll be back among the civilized October 20th in the afternoon/evening.

I plan to check games in evening hours while I'm gone, but if needed anyone can feel free to bot me. I will try to have a "bot me" spoiler on profile by then.

Male Human

Check out the blog post with a fantastic picture of Strandp...err...Sandpoint....

Farmageddon

That picture is awesome

Sorry guys, had a hell of a weekend. Being a judge in a crossfit competition doesn't give you many spare hours to play rpg's!

Farmageddon

For everyone who hasn't figured it out yet, we're on break for Thanksgiving. Happy Holidays everyone. See you again on Monday.

Happy Thanksgiving!

Farmageddon

I'm going to request that everyone get their pieces positioned correctly on the map. People are really spread out on there.

Male Human

Please place Harness on the square marked B7...

Snyk is at the bottom of the stairs.

Farmageddon

Sorry about no post today folks. Wife is sick so I've been watching the little ones all day.

I was just coming to say that I'm sick and so posting may be slow, but I see you've covered it for me.

Male Human

Take care, both of you!

I'll wait until Snyk does his turn, otherwise I cannot do much since he's blocking my path (Plus he's first on initiative)

Guess I'll wait until Sphen resolves Snyk's turn then since I don't know where he is right now :(

conditions: none Ratfolk U.Rogue (Knife Master) 2: HP 17/17; AC18, T15, FF14; Init +4; Fort +1, Ref +7, Will +0; CMD 14: Perception +5:

...sorry. my turn was probably more involved than useful. Just trying to get out of the doorway in style.

It's okay, my only doubt is if I'm flanking or not

Male Human

Harness goes last, and was supposed to be on the middle of the stairs...

Still here, but I go after the enemy (as does Cavenn and Harness)
I know Saira has been sick, would she prefer someone bot her for the moment till she's feeling better?

Travelling this next week. I'll be checking but posts may be shorter.

Sorry guys. I'm better now. I've taken my turn. Very effective. Much wow.

I'm sorry for not doing my turn. I had very busy and personal days which made me not really available for roleplay. I think I should be back on track.

I'm going to be less active from the 25 to the 2nd because #travelling. I'll try to at least update a bit from the phone but no guarantees!

Farmageddon

Sorry folks. Sick kids slowing me down.

Male designation Warforged Fighter 1/Warpriest 1 HP 21/21; DR 2/adamantine; AC 20/11/FF19; Fort +7, Ref +1, Will +1; Init +1; Per -1; Spd 20 ft. CMB +5 CMD 16

No probs GM - hope they recover soon for you! And themselves, obviously!

Harness, you crack me up! Keep it up. :-)

Farmageddon

Do you guys like fun? Who wants to hear your deeply beloved GM as a player? Have any of you ever wanted to experience the Serpent's Skull adventure path? Well then, check out Shield Bash. No officially on iTunes, Spotify, and Stitcher. Download, rate, review. Let us know what you think. Unless its about the mics. We already know those are bad and are improving them.

GM Sphen, is the foe on the ground?

Farmageddon

It is not. Flying right in front of the door.

Farmageddon

Okay, Subjective Gravity. Here we go.

If you have read the Stormlight Archives:
Think of it like Kal's lashings, but instead of storm light, it uses a Wisdom check.

If you haven't read the Stormlight Archives:
You should! They are great!

Major Explanation:
So, with subjective directional gravity, you can choose which way is "down". The room is a perfect sphere, so if you just walk into the room, you will slide down the slope to the bottom. "But Mr. GM," you say, "How will hit the flying creature?" Well, you can essentially fall past it by changing what is currently your ceiling to the new floor. This is done with a DC16 Wisdom check. (Failing this check gives you a +6 to the next attempt.) You would then fall towards the "new" down. You fall at a rate of 150 ft in the first round, increasing in the following round. "But Mr. GM," you continue, "that means I'll hit the 'floor' and take falling damage." Maybe. Since it's a free action, you can also do this more than once per round. If you make two (or more) of the DC16 Wisdom checks, you can have down be in two different directions and effectively float (ie. the levitate spell).

This rule is used largely in the Plane of Air, and it does appear in a few society scenarios. It can be fun, if you make the rolls, of course.

Let me know if that clears it up. If it doesn't, just let me know.
Also, I'll be out this weekend (not that I post on the weekends anyway) due to a local con. Winter War!
Also also, did anyone check out Shield Bash yet?

Male Human

Gngngngngn. Nope. I must be Harness. Tell you what, why don't I fail the check, and then we'll see what happens. You guys talk me "down". Tee hee.

I guess I cannot do much this turn since I have so many people physically in front on me, so...
