Delendir did do a heal check when he somewhat translated for me, and it was enough to beat it. Granted, his translation might not have conveyed what he learned, but I will leave that up to you to determine. If you think it did not, remember that heal is an untrained skill, so you could attempt the check... it would just be up to the the dice gods and your wisdom modifier...

Heh, Vivi would not object to either of you pulling him aside and giving him additional examinations/healing. While he is soldiering on (if for no other reasons than to pay his captors back) he hasn't made it a secret that he isn't at full potency, what with having been captured and tortured for several months and all. He knows that Yavenee can heal him, given she gave him that first burst of healing after combat, and he was trying to answer Valonia when she asked him about it earlier... which, given Yavenee understands Elven, she would know what he said and might be able to better translate it to Val that Delendir did (possibly).

Heh, as you can probably tell, Vivi is more than slightly angry at the surviving hag. It will probably take more than a little convincing to get him to agree to letting her go if it is required to get information from her.

Delendir is a bit shocked. His hate goes more over the giants. He does not yet see the haag's involvement, but he does empathize with Viv, although he is a bit shocked at his sudden outburst display of cruelty. He would had been open to negotiate with the haag if she had not been involved into torturing a direct friend.
Profit-wise, I don't think things are rolling towards we getting much meaningful information now though :P

I mean her involvement on the plot of the ogres and lamias. Delendir understand they are foes and knows they have been torturing, but he does not know or understand why and to what extend they are collaborating with them.

So, we watched a tornado form on Monday which promptly side swiped our house and tore through the area dropping trees all over the place. We've been without power since Monday evening and hope to have it back sometime today, fortunately our house came through unscathed. This has caused significant issues with posting and if it doesn't come back on tonight it will be fri/sat before I can get caught up on posting.

I visited the concussion doctor yesterday and found out that this head injury thing takes longer to recover that I was hoping. I'm not allowed to return to work this week yet, but I'm slowly trying to do more. I'm having vision and concentration problems, so reading is hard. I'll try to start getting posts in, but my level of posting will probably be lower for awhile yet.

Hey all, heard from the GM. He is progressing slowly but steadily (emphasis on slowly though), but the docs have pretty much ordered him to stay away from computers as it was slowing his progress down. He does send his apologies about things slowing down and hopes to be back to normal as soon as possible.
Still recovering from the concussion, it's slowly getting better. I've been doing physical therapy and a lot of sleeping in the meantime.
I'm checking the forums occasionally and getting a few posts in every other day or so, but I haven't been able to work back to staring at the screen every day yet.

Yavenee's constant hexing of me as forced me to look up witches to learn more about them. During this process I've come across something that I misunderstood previously. I want to make sure I'm on the same page here with Yavenee moving forward to avoid confusion.
The timing of a witches hex starts on her turn and ends just before her next turn. Therefore if she does not cackle on her turn and the target makes their save, the hex expires before the witches next turn. She cannot cackle on her next turn to expire the duration of 1-round hex.
If Val backs off and joins Sunday against Snakey then Barl gets the ability to fully charge our backline. It also clumps everyone up for further AOE fireballs. At the end of the day (no matter what) someone needed to hold aggro against Barl and it was left to me. Stuff happens.
Yeah, this is on me. A part of me knew Sunday should have helped with the giant, but when it was between the snake they've hunting for a long while and random giant #4 it didn't make sense to not attack the snake.
It's one of those moments where what would have been tactically sound didn't match up with what was in character. It's not just you. If you Vivi and I had all focused on Barl that round, he might not even have lived long enough to make that attack.
