It seems Daud and Valonia are having issues with the map. Is it possible you guys are playing from a mobile phone?
I know Google Draw does not work properly from touch screens. Perhaps it could help if you were able to put the maps on Google Slides GM ShadowLord. There is an app for Google Slides on Android (no idea about iOS) and it is kinda workable to view and move a token around on that app.
Do you think it might improve your experience if we all adhere to use Slides instead of Draw?
Sure thing, we can do all sorts of map options if you guys are unable with the Google Drawing. I can switch it to Slides and I also have a pro Roll20 account that we could use, though that doesn't improve upon mobile use too much.
I was actually viewing the map from my laptop via Chome.
I think the map issues stemmed from trying to figure out how the ogre was able to walk past Sunday, Delendir, and Krysta and basically threaten to two shot Valonia. Just couldn't see how it made it there.
Yeah, I understood that the giant walked up, Im jut trying to figure out why Valonia was front lining and not like, behind everyone else tankier than she is. Just makes as much sense as Yavenee standing in the front lines.

She wasn’t front-lining, you had all hidden in the room out of sight. The ogre simply chose to walk in your direction and not Sunday’s because he couldn’t see him from his position at the time.

Valonia remember to pick a token for Rajah and place it in between you and the ogres. Daud is our only full melee and it is normal he gets overtaken from time to time and the second line is reached.
So I'd like to take this time to introduce the man in the middle of the ogres to you. Please give a warm round of applause to and old friend who has found his way back to you once again ...

Glad you guys made it... was beginning to think I would end up having to fight them all off while you sorted out healing from your last fight. ;P
Well Delendir said he wasn't pushing on until AFTER we took care of healing so despite you pushing on, that all happened BEFORE he would have witnessed the ring fight.

Heh, I am joking Yav. I started out with 25 hp, that club hit from the ogre knocked me down to 9. I am also sickened and fatigued, so taking penalties on attack rolls, damage rolls, and skill checks to the order of 2 to 3 points.
Oh, and allegedly my gear is somewhere, but it isn't on me. He is armed only with tattered clothes (Delendir and Sunday would recognize them as the remnants of the clothes he had made all that time ago in Sandpoint) and his fists and feet.

Good to see you too! Assuming he doesn't succumb to his wounds in this bout with the ogres (or piss off a large dragon that just ate one of said ogres) I am sure that I will be happy to see her too.

Heya Sunday, I actually had thought so too, but there was some overlap I discovered (I was rereading the old posts to get a feel for Vivi again). I would say that they knew each other about a day (technically two given I was botted for the glassworks encounter). Maybe not the longest of intros, but heck I technically only knew Delendir for four days in game, ;)

Vivi!!! So good to see you back good man! :D
Last thing we knew is Vivi finally hooked up with Ameiko, we saw him together in her new mansion. Delendir is certainly expectant to question him what has happened with the itinerant traveller all this time.

Heh, good to be back. We might be retconning that a tad, though I can roll with that as a starting spot. You can expect him to have as many questions regarding the lost time (as a primer he will probably want to know what happened to Tal and Jess... and if Kiley ever came back from her journey).
Life has been good mostly, as evidenced by my return to the forums again. I hope that life has been as kind to you and everyone else here.

A few more grey whiskers but good otherwise :)

I do prefer Google Slides, because then I can use the app and edit the map from mobile phone. But I can get along with it, because that's only a real issue during holidays. Rare and short holidays :)

GM that ogre need to roll for miss chance remember
This might be surprising for some of you, but actually the miss chance roll is supposed to be rolled by the defender, according to the concealment rules. That is by Rajah in this particular case. I do agree with Valonia though it is perhaps more agile the attacker makes the roll, specially in the case of the GM who adjudicates the result in the end. That said let me defend ShadowLord here, because being the GM leads you having to track just too much stuff and it is easy to forget stuff specially when you read a post and are only able to write back hours after when you might have forgotten about something specific and overlook that detail. I think it is just better if the GM forgets to make a roll we just go ahead and make the roll, so he can adjudicate the result when he goes back to posting.

I have no preference. The current map does not play friendly with my phone, but I normally post with PC. Roll20 does not work for me at work at all though, so if we swap to that I might have to have someone move my token for me when posting from the office.
I don't mind rolling it, there is a ton of buffs to keep track of and anything I can do to help out with that is fine, but wouldn't I need to
know ahead of time how many attacks I'd be taking to determine how many roll I'm making, unless its one roll for all attacks?
The displacement rule works better when you’re playing at a table and the attack/concealment can be taken care of in under 30 seconds. In PBP where that back and forth can take hours or days... not so much.
I would like to avoid having to remember all the buffs/defbuffs you guys have. Especially at these levels, it can begin to get... intense. Perhaps it will work best if I just level the attack and damage against you and you can work out any buffs/DR/etc you have on your characters. If I disagree, we can work it out.
I moved the map to google slides, please check to make sure you can access it.

I can still access on pc. I will let you know if I have issues on my phone still (previous issue was that I couldn't zoom in on it without seeming to move the background map).

Had to install it, but slides works fine on my phone.
Also, as a player, posting current buffs you're affected by in either ooc text or spoiler can be really helpful for the GM, reposting when we go to a new page
We've racked up about 50 posts in the last 5 days, that is definitely a much better pacing and what I'm looking for. Hopefully Vivi being back helps energize the team!

So after checking back some notes and old posts, I remembered Delendir was never really told about Tal's death. In fact this was a piece of information Kiley delivered to Daud and Jessica alone but the rest of the party was never informed, and we never asked again about Tal. Well in our defense I would say we had our hands and brains busy :P
The thing is, given Kiley was brain broken and she saw Tal die once and again, perhaps she did not witnessed resurrection but a shapeshifter feigning return to life and death again and again until her brain broke. This hypothesis would be in line with the cult asking Vivi about Talwin during his own tortures as recent revelations suggest. Perhaps Tal is not dead but just disappeared after all.

So was trying to figure out how Vivi gets rid of his afflictions. Fatigued is easy, just needs to get 8 hours rest somewhere, no problem. Sickened, however, didn't have a clear-cut answer... so I did a bit of digging in the forums and found this: Sickened question
The answer given seems to imply that a healing spell would remove the sickened condition... which Vivi had one from Yavenee upon combat conclusion. Does this mean he is no longer sickened or am I missing something here?

This is basically what Valonia was referring to Vivi
With Spell Kenning I could use a healing spell that removes negative conditions to fully heal you - assuming you didn't want to wait a few hours to heal naturally.

Somehow I don't think we have the few hours. Assuming she could figure out what she needed to do (DC 15 heal check apparently) Vivi would be willing to let you heal him further... he is somewhat trusting by nature, and even if he wasn't 1) you guys saved his hide, and 2) Delendir & Sunday vouch for you.
