These are brutal time. I will be deciding in the next 48 hours who I have to lay off and who I can keep in. Just brutal.

I totally understand man. They laid off all but three of us at work and us three and trying to hold everything together and some times that means no posting. I totally get it!

Thanks for the patients folks and I hope you are all healthy. I am going to try and get thing going again. Hopefully I have managed to get back into as much of a routine as I can with my entire staff laid off.
Right now most of my day is spent coming up with ways to get the town ready to come out of this thing. I, along with three other groups, are trying to collect makes, gloves and hand sanitizer to give local shops and restaurants a three month supply when things start back up.
Remember shopping local when you can is the biggest things you can do to support the community and your neighbors.
for sure. we are trying to do what we can to buy local, but it's tough for everyone right now. Here in Austin several long-standing spots have announced they will not be opening again after this is over. places that have been hangout spots since before I moved here. it's hard to see.

We've been trying to order from local places and pick it up when we can. Sadly the few places I'd love to support have fully closed down till the 27th at the earliest. I haven't heard if any of them will close for good but I hope not. I know a lot of places are having a lot of problems. Though if anyone was looking to buy a house or a car interests rates are at their lowest right now!

Cool, I update on the second page of the maps page. I cut and past from that so if things are wrong you can all update as well. It keeps us all honest.
@Ayame, you wouldn't normally get an AoO when something falls prone. Durian used his martial prowess to pick up a free feat, which in this case was Greater Trip, which in addition to the bonus to trip attempts also makes the target provoke an AoO when they go down.

Ok, this would normally be a discussion at the table. I am giving the troll a + to AC because of Ayame's angle though the doorway. I think that makes sense.
Durian, your in a ten foot deep pit and while I gave the trip I am not sure what to do about the troll's AC from the angle. You can square up to the door easily with a 5ft step but what do you think about the same + to AC as the angle from the doorway.
Basically his prone AC is 18 with a +2 for the doorway angle making it 20. Is it fair to use the same modifier you think?

That is fair! I think the only one who doesn't have the 20AC would be Tahata, as he has the best view out of all of us. As long as Ayame can his the fire damage will keep the troll from recovering!
Also I do agree that small room maps suck. One of the reasons I hate dungeon crawls.
yeah little rooms are silly. I think it is definitely reasonable to give a cover bonus against me from being in the hole. I just don't have any real way to get out quickly, which means I'm using my much less effective spear instead of punching the thing.

Since the redo of the site, over a year ago, I am inclined to think it is user error. My notes in the stat block on maps sheet were updated so I think it was me.

I am so sorry guys. I am getting my ass kicked at work trying to do budget for next year. A big part of that is deciding which staff members are going to be cut so my stomach for coming on and posting has been very low. All this will be over by the end of this week I think.

I was going to use the Fascinate into Suggestion. To have them step down from the raise platform. Would that work or should I just choose something else to do?

Well you can try and sell me that climbing down to the people that just killed their companions is not "obviously harmful".
These two spells are always rough to work out partially because I feel the wording is unclear or at least misleading. Suggestion is a second level spell for you, I think, but in many ways less powerful then the first level forbid action. That said forbid action seems to be meant for combat and fascinate and suggestion feel more out of combat.
How about this I would let you give it a try but they will get a bonus to their saves given that it is clearly taking them to a harmful situation. An action from their boss could of course break the suggestion.
Well I'm out of all but 0 level magic so this was kinda the best I had at the moment when I can't attack people! XD
Trying to make the best out of what resources I have. Because I've got 5 rounds of performances left today, and casting the suggestion will eat one of them. Luckily lingering performance makes the remaining 4 stretch further. But that is all she's got left. So I'll give it a try if only to make it easier on our fighters.

She was squeezing on a 20ft platform so I do not think you could reach her. No one else was threatening with a melee weapon.

Well this week got away from me. Daughter tested with a fever at school, though I could not find the darn fever again at home, and I spent two days at home with her. Really messed up my week and work load.
Finally test came back with the expected negative.

@GM Red Box: Does Loren's Cold Resistance 5 protect him enough to skip on endure elements?
@Ayame: Everyone having a magic weapon is probably a good idea.
Cold Resistance 5 would sure help but you would still need fort checks as it is possible that cold can do more damage, it is 1d6 either non-lethal or lethal depending on the temperature over time. If the resistance was higher then the max I would say no rolls needed.
With standard cold weather gear I do not make people roll until the temperature is to the point that it would be lethal damage in general.
