You could always just let the ghosts do it and not draw any cards. Storywise, this is as far as Zellara goes. But you aren't forced to do anything.
Personally, I've always been a chicken about a deck of many things and usually choose to draw 0 or maybe 1 card. I hate the gamble. But other people like it, so it's a personal choice.

"So far we stumbled into our enemies by chance. Does someone know where the queen resides? Or are we fine with stumbling into her too?"
The most logical places to check would be the Throne Room or Royal Bedroom. Both are labeled on the 3rd floor map.
"Unless they look like a leader. Let's try to slip past them."
I need some clarification on what you are attempting here before I can post. Are you trying to sneak into or past the Entrance Hall. There are two sets of double doors in the Entrance Hall. The northern set connects to the outside staircase that goes back down to the ground (which I don't think you want to leave at the moment). The southern set connects to the Antechamber (which then connects to the throne room). But there are two guards standing attention in front of the door and there is no where in the Entrance Hall to sneak behind. You can't really sneak past the guards without cover and open the doors they are guarding without them noticing. Even invisible, they'll obviously notice the doors opening. (The Gatehouse Lower Gallery is not connected to the Entrance Hall with a doorway. On the map, there is an arrow slit looking into the room that a guard in the Gallery could fire into the Entrance Hall from. You'd need to be Tiny, gaseous, or similar to pass through the narrow window.)
Or are you trying to stealth around to the right, through the Cloakroom, then Stage Hall, then Antechamber behind the guards that way?
Or are you trying to stealth to get a surprise round to attack the two guards? (The guards are the same as the handful of Gray Maidens you found in the barracks on the 2nd floor. They are not more powerful versions).

Hey, I've noticed posts have gotten a little slow lately. If you are just busy, that's cool. But if it is because my posts are getting stale or you are getting campaign fatigue (I know this has been a long campaign), let me know if there is anything I can do to liven it back up and keep you all interested. We are so close to finishing, it would be a shame for it to taper out now.

Still here! Perhaps a daring stealth mission by Mushu and Fluffy to rescue someone!
Totally cool suggestion. I'm in!
This is another dungeon crawl and those tend to get tedious after a while with nothing else in between. But the queen won't get away without her death punishment! She won't stop us with magic, her army's prowess, or trying to bore us to death with endless rooms full of Grey Maidens! ;)

I'm saying, that if you redirect the remaining shots at the devil, then the human bane included in these rolls doesn't apply, reducing the to hit rolls by two and the damage by 2+2d6 which results in the numbers I've written.
But I'll take the dead devil too.

So sorry. I've gotten busy but you are on my make sure I post every day (when I can list). I'll move this to the top. I want to finish and find out if we wave Korvosa.

It gets an initial save and then it gets another save each time it is its turn until it breaks free or the duration runs out. So it got a save when Iolana cast the spell on it then when its turn came around, it got another save. If it is still alive next round, it will get another save on its next turn.

Tyrandro Amprei |

I just wondered why it got two saves before Tyrandro gets to act. But as it failed twice it doesn't matter. Because I for sure would have changed my action to a CDG when that thing is standing helpless next to me.

I didn't think anyone else could use it, and she might be able to stand back and attack with it. If she's not in to that then no worries.

Laori Vaus __ |

What chain are you talking about? Did I miss something?
Edit:
Ok, you mean the +1 unholy adamantine spiked chain.
That is a nice weapon, but selling it would be the better option. Though Laori could use it and have no negative effects due to being evil aligned herself, she already has a +2 spell storing spiked chain. And none of our opponents are good, so the unholy would be completely wasted on them.
If we'd face constructs the adamantine would be nice, but all in all, ... sell it.

The Crimson Throne isn't picky who sits on it. But those who do, never get old. That's why it's called CURSE of the Crimson Throne. So Mushu might want to reconsider that decision. ;)
Nevertheless, it would be a big step up from Ileosa to Mushu for Korvosa.

Like I said, you didn't need to roll attacks on the Gray Maidens. But it is fine that you did. Combat is over.
The Queen had the following gear: +1 glamered chain shirt, +1 returning dagger, replica nonmagical Crown of Fangs worth 5,000 gp.
The Gray Maidens had the same gear as all the others you fought.
Vivana escaped (unless you find her again) so no treasure from her atm.
There are some valuable tapestries and the Crimson Throne, but looting the throne room would likely be problematic.
After this fight, there are maybe two more encounters in the castle, both of which, I don't think will last more than 1-2 rounds. You the rest is mostly exploration. There are some things you should still try to find. Feel free to roleplay a bit to break up all the combat we've been having. Tell more which rooms you want to explore and I'll give the descriptions.

Sorry for the slow posting. I've had the week from heck. Everything is fine. I've just been busy at work and busy with personal life. Usually one is busy and the other isn't so bad, and I can keep up. Not this week.
After Sunday it should get better.

Ishani Dhatri. Abadarian priest who we met before you joined our group was seen approaching the castle here.
Did I mention this? I don't remember. The woman at Queen Ileosa's side in the last battle was Vavana Dhatri. Not that you'd know that. She has never been referred to previously that I'm aware of.
