Charisma Rerolls: A PC can spend a Harrow Point to reroll a Charisma-based check. She must abide by the new result (although if she has additional Harrow Points remaining, she can use them to attempt additional rerolls).

Destiny Shall Not Be Denied: A PC can spend a Harrow Point as an immediate action to force the GM to reroll a d20 roll. She must abide by the new result (although if she has additional Harrow Points remaining, she can use them to force additional rerolls).

Psychic Wrath: A PC with levels in a class that grants bonus spells based on her Charisma score can spend a Harrow Point to increase the power of a spell from that class’s spell list as she casts it. She increases the spell’s DC by 2 and gains a +4 bonus on caster level checks to overcome spell resistance and a +2 bonus on attack rolls for that spell.

Roll Card: Gain a +2 bonus on all Charisma-based checks. In addition, he treats his caster level as if it were 1 higher when casting spells gained from a class that grants bonus spells based on his Charisma score.

Shatter is cleric/oracle 2 and sorcerer/wizard 2. Am I missing a reason you can’t cast it?


Hmmm I checked the spell list and it seems to be a bonus domain spell from the Destruction domain. Ayako is Dark Tapestry oracle


It is a domain spell for destruction domain. It is also on the regular 2nd level spell list for cleric/oracle.

So Shatter scrolls would be Level 2x10x25=500 base. Maximized is...?

+3 Level increase

So maybe 4 or 5 of them.

Plus Hallow

5x9x25=1125


Dispel Evil
5x10x25=1250 each. 3=3750

Shatter is a 2nd level spell. You could buy a wand.


A normal scroll of shatter would be 150 gp.
A maximized scroll of shatter would be 1125 gp.

You would need a summon, that can cast from a scroll. Just get two dozen summons and send them in.


Iron Circlet is 30k!


Don't go overboard on the scrolls and such. The creature only has so many hit points. You'll probably destroy it in a round or two since you have all this foreknowledge.

I have no idea what I should reasonably take for this endeavour so I improve my cloak from +3 to +5 for 16.000 and leave it with that.


Undead bane arrows? Bump your bow up +1? And extra plus could squeak a hit out of a miss.

My bow counts as undead bane anyway inside the castle. And +1 would cost 8k as I'm at +1 corrosive already. And to hit is not really my problem when shooting at +21 with haste. If I get a whole series of arrows shot at the demilich, then it will be over pretty quick. With some shatter from scrolls added in.

But I see nothing, that would really help keep Tyrandro alive, item wise. That will hopefully be covered by your spells. And the problem of shooting through the telekinetic storm, I also see no item solution.


A Bralani Azata's Wind Wall could help, as well as an Air Elemental's Whirlwind

Actually my magic circle against Evil gives us some chances.

Here's what Protection from Evil Says:

First, the subject gains a +2 deflection bonus to AC and a +2 resistance bonus on saves. Both these bonuses apply against attacks made or effects created by evil creatures.

Second, the subject immediately receives another saving throw (if one was allowed to begin with) against any spells or effects that possess or exercise mental control over the creature (including enchantment [charm] effects and enchantment [compulsion] effects, such as charm person, command, and dominate person). This saving throw is made with a +2 morale bonus, using the same DC as the original effect. If successful, such effects are suppressed for the duration of this spell. The effects resume when the duration of this spell expires. While under the effects of this spell, the target is immune to any new attempts to possess or exercise mental control over the target. This spell does not expel a controlling life force (such as a ghost or spellcaster using magic jar), but it does prevent them from controlling the target. This second effect only functions against spells and effects created by evil creatures or objects, subject to GM discretion.

Third, the spell prevents bodily contact by evil summoned creatures. This causes the natural weapon attacks of such creatures to fail and the creatures to recoil if such attacks require touching the warded creature. Summoned creatures that are not evil are immune to this effect. The protection against contact by summoned creatures ends if the warded creature makes an attack against or tries to force the barrier against the blocked creature. Spell Resistance can allow a creature to overcome this protection and touch the warded creature.


This is in regards to the curse?

That is correct, Tyrandro. If you need to retroactively purchase something, go ahead.

Iolana, what were you thinking the protection from evil would help against? The mummy's despair aura?

I looked at that, and the aura is not a spell and does not have the enchantment [charm] or [compulsion] tags. It does have the following tags though: mind-affecting, paralysis, and fear. I don't think the protection from evil help in this case. Remove fear or remove paralysis, or something along those lines would. The +2 resistance bonus to saves would apply but the resistance bonus does not stack with a cloak of resistance, so since you all have cloaks of at least +2 at this point, you gain no additional bonus to saves from the spell.

The Ambrosia that was served up
Blessing of Fervor to speed us up.

So an air elemental might be able to deal with the debris cloud. Once everyone has a clear shot, Tyrando can start shooting and Iolana and I can use Shatter(Maybe toss a scroll to Laori if she can use them)

I do have the Pag of Spell Knowledge to lay down a silence to help against it's Wail of the Banshee.

Just out of curiosity - isn't Wail of the Banshee a death effect?

Death ward is on a creature. But I had the wrong impression it would make immune to death effects. Now I'm afraid again. I really hope we beat this thing in initiative.

Shatter was specifically called out, but what about Disintegrate? Do we think that would work? Not that I think the battle will last too many rounds.

Air Elemental with instructions to carry a coin with Silence on it over to the skull
We open fire on the skull, When it rises up, the elemental forms a whirlwind to disperse the debris cloud and the Silence spell hopefully negates the Wail of the Banshee.

Keep shooting Shatter spells(Myself,Iolana,Laori if she is able) While Tyrando shoots and Sebastion stabs with whatever Sial can manage
