sounds fun. I almost died twice at the end of the last book, I wonder how much harder this will be.

As for Buffing - Grergof is set up to buff as he fights. There's nothing to prep so he will keep pushing forward if you let him. It's up to the rest of you to pull him back if you need time to buff.

About that wind wall. I'm not sure what it would do to the cloud. as you're in a closed room, and the wind wall blows stuff upwards you'd get a 2ft narrow 5ft high wall of wind that blows the cloud upwards. I don't see how that would help.

Even if you shape it to become thicker to create some kind of tunnel that is high and wide enough for you to walk in, wouldn't it just suck in the surrounding cloud?

To get 5x5x10 high you'd need 3 caster levels. That doesn't look like it is getting you anywhere.

You should step closer to stand in the area that is free of that cloud. Or you might fall victim to that cloudkill. If you go to the other room you're out too, but can't do anything.

There is the line you freed in front of you and the cloud moves away from the tent. As the hands went inside there is enough space for you.

It's one goat, with the stats of a Nightmare plus 2 1d8+4 horns.

Hmmm... Being grappled is interesting. I had forgotten the bit about not being able to do anything with two hands. Guess my flail will be useless unless my companions can take care of this.

Yep, a Dagger or spiked gauntlet is always standard equipment for my characters.... You never know when you might need it for role playing or in a grapple.

If nobody else wants it, I'll take the amulet of natural armor. But it's good for everyone, and I already have a pretty good AC, so if anyone else wants it (Stam or Darius) go ahead and take it.

It's 1000gp worth of diamond dust for a negative level and 100gp worth of DD for all other cases.

For only damage and not drain, he could cast lesser restoration instead.

A party wand of Lesser Restore would not be a bad idea.
It's not level dependent so no downside to using a wand and it fees up Darius's spell slots.

He picked up a Pack of Mercenaries on the way to a ghost town passing through wolf infested woods. Oh and remember he was last seen in the company of a group of Demon Wolves (which we have seen signs of) sneaking around town but not fought yet.

My spidey sense is not just tingling, it's full on screaming.

Oh and the leader of the Demon Wolves is an anti-paladin who wanted to the pack lords heart, but the pack lord's heart disappeared right about the time Duristan disappeared.

Ya, seems to all fit together just too well right now.
Are you all up for another big fight or do we hole up and try to get them to come to us?
