Checking in, so I can find the tread again

We only have three players so far so I opened up recruitment but I'm not getting any takers yet. If you folks know of anybody with a character in tier, feel free to invite them.

I've got one more player interested but his character is wrapped up in Blakros Matrimony and won't be available for a while. If I can find another player who is available now, we'll get started immediately; otherwise we don't have much choice but to wait for him to be available.

Hey all, gonna play a pregen paladin, hopefully I am more help than hindrance. :)

Quick question, how does a pregen equipment work? I had used up some charges from her wand in the previous scenario, do I count those used before start if this scenerio or start "fresh"? I had 38 start of last and used 4, leaving 34 left?

You start fresh every time with pregens. You are even allowed to sell equipment and buy other thing at the beginning of the scenario.

7 + 5 + 9 + 6 = 27/4 = 6.75 LOW TIER!

Hmm... Well I couldn't figure out how to erase a mis-drawn line in Roll20. But I learned you can drag it off the map. So there are now several purple lines off the map to the right.

Hey folks! Stole this idea from Tektite (who stole it from others-but that's how these things work): feel free to check in at the Flaxseed Pathfinder Lodge and hang out in-character or use the Discussion thread for out-of-character chatting. I'll likely be using it to announce upcoming PFS games and other GMs are welcome to do so as well.

If the golem is still looking dangerous, Lavode will try to stay out of melee and summon a small fire elemental.

If the golem looks almost busted or is down, Lavode will switch to using the tremor ability and acid splashes (since he is burning through his spells).

It's looking pretty weak. If you come up I'll just acid splash the chairs for you.

Wow, I forgot that we started this one way back on November 1. This is definitely the longest a PbP game has ever taken for me as a GM. Thanks for sticking with it everyone! These have been some tough encounters but I'm still having fun with this final fight, I hope you guys are still enjoying it.

It was and still is fun and also still a lot faster than a different pbp I'm in your not GM-ing...so no problems here ;)

Yeah, I don't think it's been an issue with pacing from any of the players either. These are just some tough encounters! Almost everything has had DR/adamantine.

When I played this we had a flying eidolon and my zen/arcane archer amalgam was flying as well. The eidolon flew forward and ate through his stoneskin in about a round and then I put three arrows in him with two of them critting. We got lucky.

Honestly, you guys are almost there. He's running out of offensive spells and he already used his escape plan (teleport) to get away from Alan's grapple.

I got no problems with how it has been played out.

Even if my dofus is a bit frustrated at the moment. =0

That was certainly my longest PbP game ever. I'm glad everyone had fun with it; I always get nervous when things start to drag because people tend to lose interest. These fights were just tougher than I remembered/was expecting. When I played it I guess that damn eidolon just tore things apart despite DR. Summoners be summoners I guess.

This is a tier 5-9 PFS scenario. As such, you need to have a legal PFS character appropriately leveled with a PFS number in order to apply.

Right now I have three players (cleric 9, fighter/monk 6, cleric 5) and I am looking for at least one more player but can take up to three more players. I will take the first people to post with stats in their profile or a link to their character sheet.

I don't have any characters at that range of levels yet, EF, but let me compliment you for running several PBP games at a higher level. That is awesome of you.

Thanks! I like the high-level stuff, just wish it was easier to find players. If you know of anyone in tier, pass them along!

I'd love to apply with Kynrac, who is my only character in range. He's currently playing the Blakros Matrimony, but I honestly have no idea when it'll be done.

Everything looks good, Kynrac. I've always wanted to see a Lorekeeper at work. Head on over to the Discussion thread and feel free to dot the gameplay thread.

Please ask you GM for Blackros to estimate how soon you will be done. My others players for this game are ready to go. If it's within a week or two I think we can hold for you. Right now we don't have many options except to wait for you though since we only have three players.

I'll ask her and get back to you as soon as possible to let you know.

We started one month ago and our GM says we're about halfway through but there haven't been any combat yet and those will hasten the pace of the game. So if you find another player, by all means go ahead... I'm really sorry to tell you that, because I'd love to play that scenario...

Yeah, I've played Blakros Matrimony. There's a lot of RP at the beginning but the combats all come one after another.

If I find another player I'm going to go ahead and start without you but right now you're the only one interested so I'll wait for you to be available.

@Kynrac: You could always play a level 7 pregen and apply the credit to Kynrac when we finish.

I could do that, but I know the 5-9 scenarios can be very deadly, and playing a pregen I don't know how to play well can mean death for other character (as well as death for the character getting credit).

@Maps: This is a 5-9 scenario. It looks like your character is only level 4 unless his profile is just not up-to-date.

If he is level 5, then sure. Everything looks good.

You are correct. I thought he had just leveled up a few weeks ago to 5th, but it was actually only 4th. Darn.

Will you take a level 7 pregen, I will just apply the credit at a later date?

If so, any recommendations for what pregen to play?

I have played the paladin pregen, but I don't know what would be useful for this PFS scenerio :)

This is a 5th level sorc. He's decent but by no means super optimized (since it was my first character).

Sure, I can take a fifth. It will bump them above the 4-player adjustments but I think they'll be ok. Head on over to the Discussion and Gameplay, we're already moving.
