Jin-Goro: The dice are just serving a hefty dose of karma on behalf of the elementals.
Quiven: I'll use your first roll for your attack, and your second roll if opportunist triggers for this round.

Quiven flies around to flank the monk once again and strikes at another artery, forcing the monk to block blade with arm. The resulting gash causes a tremor in his wrist and soaks the sleeve of his robe with a bright red stain.

Jin-Goro decides to treat the monk with a taste of his own medicine, but in his efforts to avoid wounding his compatriots, also fails to wound his mark.

To the north, another group of Pathfinders strikes down a monk, which bursts into a gaseous cloud in the same manner as your initial foe. The Sifu appears to be struggling to maintain control over this grand melee and all of the monks appear to develop sleight tremor in their movements. The monk you are engaged with seems to be relatively unaffected seeing as his movements are already slowed by fear induced from Little Shins' chant.

Also, is there any particular reason you aren't using Vital Strike?

The final monk rises to his feet and begins to raise his hand to fire more rays when Hiram moves forward to strike.

Displacement: 1d100 ⇒ 90
Attack: 1d20 + 14 + 2 + 2 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 14 + 2 + 2 + 1 = 23

The monk evades the strike and wearily staggers back. His attacks become more desperate as he fires 1 ray each at Hiram, Wei-Ji, and Quiven, hoping that he can drop the whole front-line in one go.

Rays: 1d20 + 14 - 2 ⇒ (10) + 14 - 2 = 221d20 + 14 - 2 ⇒ (6) + 14 - 2 = 181d20 + 14 - 2 ⇒ (9) + 14 - 2 = 21

Hiram's Damage: 4d6 ⇒ (3, 5, 3, 5) = 16
Wei-Ji's Damage: 4d6 ⇒ (6, 2, 6, 3) = 17
Quiven's Damage: 4d6 ⇒ (5, 2, 5, 4) = 16 Resisted due to Jin-Goro's magic

Jin-Goro rends the displacement aura from yet another monk, and Quiven, Roary, and the spectral scythe descend on him. A blur of motion is quickly rewarded with another puff of vapor.

Holding here for a moment

The gaseous form of the monk falls backwards and tendrils of vapour retract towards the master. You hear a sigh as it floats back. "yesss..... rest...."

Wei Ji will attempt to approach the Emissary, while giving the 'right of way' to anyone else that wishes to approach before him.

"Please stand down. Your agents have fought well, and there is no shame in learning from one's defeats."

Not sure what else is needed here to accomplish mission goal, though. Just touch the person?

Without warning, the entire cavern begins to shudder. Atop the dais, Sifu Xho Nuo’s slight form begins to glow with a soft, white light. Slowly, without breaking his meditative stance, his body rises, levitating a few feet above the dais.

Then without warning, a burst of bright energy ripples from his body, striking all of his disciples and causing them turn gaseous and explode in a shower of rose petals. The Emissary remains motionless, amidst the fluttering petals, waiting for his new champions to claim their victory.

The cavern is thrown into chaos from the ripple of magical energy as the Emissary finally allows touch, and the assembled horde rushes over each other to get to the top of the dias! From the throng of warriors, a single arm reaches forth and touches the Emissary - It is Davorin of the Silver Crusade!

Slowly, the Emissary opens his eyes and his body unfolds. Standing before the crowd, he bows graciously and his mouth curls into a contented smile.
“I’m truly touched by your efforts; this has been a stellar competition thus far. To those who have fallen, I give my heartfelt regret and sympathy—however, I seek only the greatest warriors"

“To the rest of you now standing before me... Congratulations! You have all succeeded in qualifying for the illustrious Ruby Phoenix Tournament. But be forewarned— tonight’s competition was mere child’s play compared to what is to come"

“Still, for the moment you should celebrate, for yours was a victory not easily won. But waste not too much time in celebration, for soon enough you must travel to Goka on the western coast of distant Tian Xia to compete against other competitors from across Golarion of your skill... or better. And for this, you must be ready.”

Upon his parting words, Sifu Xho Nuo vanishes in a puff of pale white smoke.

Congratulations!

And that, my friends, brings us to the end of Blood Under Absalom. The Pathfinder Society has gained the privilege of entering the Ruby Phoenix Tournament, and with that the possibility of gaining control over the entrance to the Hao-Jin Tapestry and all of the wonders within. Perhaps you will be among the competitors?
