The crowd nods and watches intently as Hiram and Jin-Goro open the scene being presented to them. Quiven quickly disappears 'into the foliage' to track down the Aspis agent, however he is nowhere to be seen. With his deft feet however, it's highly probably that the Aspis agent doesn't see him either.
The Aspis Sorceress, dressed as the Monkey King, moves to the front center of the stage. She announces herself in a deep, raspy voice, attempting to play the part of a man. "These foes claim the blessings of the winds, but it is by earth that we are bound!"
She finishes her incantation and casts Slow on the party, dispelling the Haste spell on everyone except Quiven as he is out of sight.
The fighter moves to join her near the front of the stage, dressed as the Warrior Woman. She wields her longspear awkwardly, obviously used to different weapons. She looks towards Wei Ji, and makes an exaggerated gasp. "What insult to be greated in battle by such a clown! The King must always lead his men into battle!"
She thrusts her spear towards Wei Ji with a flourish.

The cleric in the rear, dressed as a clown grows in stature and steps forward to engage toe to toe with Roary. He laughs and shakes his stick comically over his head as he announces in a singsong voice. "Such a day for a battle, our hero's do show such courage and might! But overhead dark clouds bring ill-omens for the noble and foolhardy alike."

The Aspis rogue slips under the curtain and low behind one of the barriers. He catches the eye of Quiven as he leaves his hiding spot, but too late to give warning. He pops out, suddenly striking Roary hard in the back with his costume dagger. The strike punches hard into the muscle at his back, causing him to double backwards.

If so, Hiram begins to do a Monkey-ish dance, trying to add in a lot of Acrobatics to make this look really good. Acrobatics: 1d20 + 14 ⇒ (6) + 14 = 20

Quiven: With improved uncanny dodge he can't be flanked at all.
Wei Ji impresses the crowd by using the language of the region in his performance and he begins to bludgeon the warrior with his rake. The crowd laughs as the first strike merely annoys the Aspis warrior, but looks on with anticipation as the second and third strikes bash his head side to side.
The warrior steps back and thrusts twice with his polearm. "A peasant who tends to the fields of war? You may live as a farmer but now you'll die with honor as a warrior!"
The crowd jeers at him a bit for his lack of logic, but he carries through with his assault nonetheless.

Attack: 1d20 + 19 ⇒ (12) + 19 = 31 for Damage: 1d4 + 3 + 5d6 ⇒ (4) + 3 + (3, 1, 4, 6, 1) = 22

Bash her with a club!..

The tengu slumps, defeated in a play-acting sort of way because the 'warrior won't be able to help farm'.
Then there's a brief moment of realization as Wei realizes the caster is still in this, and he spins deftly on a heel and whips back towards the hapless 'Monkey King'.
Charge into pinned caster
'Rake'(Improvised, Blessing of Fervor, Haste, Inspire Courage, Charge, Flanking, Primary): 1d20 + 8 + 2 + 2 + 2 ⇒ (17) + 8 + 2 + 2 + 2 = 31
Damage(Inspire Courage): 1d6 + 4 + 2 ⇒ (2) + 4 + 2 = 8
If Sneak Attack Damage Applies: 2d6 ⇒ (6, 3) = 9
Wei will NOT strike at her if she appears to be unconscious, once again bearing in mind the concern about 'ultraviolence', as it were.

Confident in his party Shins turns to address the audience.
"So as this battle comes to a close, may you all reflect on the strength all have shone today. King and farmer, warrior and crone, man and his blade. May their glories never end and continue to inspire others."

With a slash and a club, a rake and a thud, the Monkey Kings collapses. At the very least she has the foresight to at least attempt to utter dramatic last words. "If you strike me down, I shall become more powerf-"
Shins stands before the crowd and speaks his closing lines with a flourish...
The audience applauds, the judges smile, but the curtain doesn't fall, and you all find yourselves standing center stage in front of an expectant crowd.

Hiram steps forward, striking a pose.
"Though our revels end,
The story as always shall march on.
For we are but humble players,
Strutting and fretting our moment in the sun.
Nay, but we are shadows cast from the lights of your attention,
And such shadows, being seen can never be unseen.
Let our words and deeds be sung and spoken of,
While our frail bodies age and disappear,
For none can last forever,
Save the stories of which we speak.
And what is a story, but a collection of emotions
A mass of memory and deed and gasping breath
Something to pluck at our hearts and mind
And if performed a-right, recall the glories of the past
And inspire the honorable deeds of tomorrow.
Nay, we are but stories here, in front of you honorables.
Our opponents, the honored and dishonored alike,
The noble ronin and the serpents who strike at the heels of good men
My comrades, the heroes and finders of paths,
Whose glad minds and hearts do light the way
For those who will come after.
Let our story be told, dear friends!
Let this be your refrain: it was a glad day I saw the deed done.
For honor, for glory, for the story:
Go forth and speak, for we live in your words.
Fare well, and prosper!"
Perform: Oratory: 1d20 + 18 ⇒ (3) + 18 = 21 with Timely Inspiration +2 to the roll!

Wei looks at the crowd, notices the applause and tries desperately to remember anything about theatre productions and how they're supposed to end.
"I think we're supposed to take a bow, now? Maybe? Let's give it a try?"
He'll get up to a point so the rest of the team can line up next to him, and if folks take his lead will count down from three and bow to the audience.

Quiven will join Wei Ji, thinking that some recognition would do him some good.
